rolleyes ok well now Sarah has decided to make a podcast about TBIs instead of a book. I am in 3 Facebook groups for TBI, and all I read are posts about...I just want to be normal...why doesn't anyone understand...my child has one. How do I deal?...is it normal to _____? And all kinds of stuff like that. Ive cried over a few posts. It's really sad. And podcasts are the thing to do now, not read books. Nothing wrong with reading, but a podcast does seem like the better option cuz I love to talk. Anyway, I have written down every single problem I have from the TBI. It took a full page! And of course, I will say that not all brain injuries are alike. Just bc you've met one, does not mean the rest of the brain injured are like that. We're like snowflakes. No two alike. I bought Blogging For Dummies. I think I'll start a brand new blog for this. Of course, I don't have a title yet and have not read more then 5 pages.
It bothers me greatly that there is no information on TBIs anywhere!!!!! No one knows anything. That's why I wanna share. I know a blog and podcast are different from a book. And I think talking and typing will work better for me. My Facebook groups and family are all cheering me on. One sister keeps bringing it up. She's obviously so excited. whee Well, I will be telling my story and how my life is and everything and then interview my family so listeners get the sibling and parent perspective too. Then I'll do the same thing with some TBI folks through my groups. A friend of my stepsister is trying to go into mental health. I thought she'd be a good one to interview. I'm working on a list of questions to ask. But perhaps I should work on my piolet episode first. After I read my book and get my blog looking impressive and good.
Has anyone here got any ideas??

I think I'd set it up like a question answer thing. Have people send you questions, and then answer one or two in your podcast.
It's a good idea. I think it would much better than a book.
A blog would be a good option too if the podcasts don't work out.
Or you could use YouTube too. Since it's so much simpler to use and is avaible on more formats.
