The trip through the new tower seemed almost three times as long as the walk to it. The small, now terrified female, had closed more of the gap of that 'respectful' distance she had been keeping from Blues. She didn't want to bother him so, but she didn't know what else to do. In this moment, in this brief time she had been on the surface, he was the only thing she did know.
If she knew what an Angel was, she'd have likely compared the experience to something like that. What with coming into the light and his bright wings... the message of hope...
Though it still seemed strange that something like that would have decided the Tower was the best place to go. Apparently Robots were quite capable of having anxiety, this one certainly did. She'd been underground for so long though, and everything was so different.
Or was it? She had such limited memories from the before. All her memories were of the dark. Never ending darkness, never ending silence. She was reconciling the idea that, perhaps, this wasn't so different than it had been, and that she simply never experienced it before. She'd been unfinished, after all. It wouldn't have made sense for her to been around.
The thoughts invaded her mind, and she idly reached to take her saviour's paw again. She was scared, tense, and the light inside was much brighter than outdoors, so it hurt her optics a bit, making it difficult to see. Her eyes seemed to water as she struggled to deal with the light. It wasn't that she was sensitive to it, like Blues was, and in time, she'd adjust. It had just been so long since she'd dealt with brighter than pitch black light.

Wily, meanwhile, was still another level up. Working away at.. well a vast amount of things. There'd been fewer repairs, as of late at least. The riots had quelled somewhat as well.
Though Bass and Proto had both been oddly quiet as of late, and that was troubling. He figured it was only a matter of time before one of them came barging in on his work.
Still, the reprieve had been a welcome one. It gave him time to try to make his experiments work (The way they were supposed to work, anyway). At the moment, he was tinkering with some upgrades, and a possible outline for a new bot in the future.
Yes, indeed, things were... pretty damn good for a change.

Blues hadn't spoken to Wily since the scientist attempted to run a typical diagnostics on him. Those -always- sent the red general into a hissy fit...and this particular one had driven him out of the Tower itself. Though one good thing had come from that trip...
The bot traveling with him was afraid...and he didn't blame her. If he had spent ages stuck under rubble only to be dragged out of it by a strange new bot..and then later dragged to a strange new building..? Yeah, he'd be pretty scared too. He squeezed her paw a bit, offering her a little smile before stepping out of the elevator.
"Almost there..."
A few moments later and Blues was entering Wily's lab, pulling his companion along with him.
"Hey doc, I uh....got something you need to look at."
Hopefully Wily wouldn't scare her too much...he'd step in to protect her if need be.
"I found her over by the old tower. She was buried in the rubble, but I helped her out. Just want to be sure she's going to be alright."

Rhythm looked at him as he smiled and squeezed her paw. Her face softened and her fear subsided, for just a moment, and she smiled and squeezed his paw in return. She seemed to ... take in a breath as the door of the elevator opened, and he led her out. His tone was calming, reassuring her things would be alright.
Inside the lab the noises were loud, and the peach furred bot clung closer to Blues then. The sounds were that of welding and melting metal, and it made her cringe. It took a few moments, after Proto spoke, to have the noises finally cease.
"Hmm, bringing in scrap again are you?" Wily's crotchety voice croaked out over in their direction. He clearly hadn't glanced over yet, more interested in what he was doing now then whatever random thing the uppity robot master wanted him to deal with.
Rhythm didn't like being called scrap, and she shuddered a bit. Though she remained silent, for now.
