    "No."
It was her final word. the word that meant to turn around, leave, and not come back. You were rejected, done, and unable to continue. You were so close, only to be turned away at what felt like the last moment. You could strike at her, you could argue, you could try to turn that 'no' into yes.
But Ka'tija's word was final. You were NOT getting that stone. End of story, thank you, come again.
Blind eyes scanned the room momentarily. Snapping her fingers, the door that led down into the storeroom shut, locked, locked again, and was then sealed by another door covered in wards. Without considerable magic, or her own hand, no one was getting in. The same was done to the entrance to the place. Her home, her business. Sealed by roots with runes and enchantments carves discreetly into them.
Not too far out, she made her way down a well-travelled path. Feet found the way, ears listened for anything incoming, and her affinity towards auras helped with finding the plants she needed along the way. A few here, a few there, a small detour towards a large patch of something vibrantly purple...
It was a nice walk, at least.

Hinabi needed a break from her. The creature living in her home now was insatiable, always demanding for more of something. More food, more clothes, more entertainment. It never ended. She was stuck between work and taking care of someone barely younger than herself, and it was tiring. There were days she considered using a spell to silence the hallowed woman once and for all, but Hinabi wasn't a bad person. Annoyed. Stiff. But not bad.
So after the last couple came and received their soul stone she shut the room off, traveling outside of her home and directly avoiding the room she knew Arsenic was in. A walk sounded nice, especially when she didn't need to worry about Arsenic tagging along. Besides, Arsenic was magically bound to the house for now until she could figure out how to stop destroying the village they both lived in.
Her walks were never very long. There wasn't much interesting in the area surrounding the village, or even the village itself. She had settled herself amongst a patch of vibrant purple flowers eventually, long tail curling around her body as she released a long and tired sigh. Bleh, today had been something else.
Something shifted in the corner of her eye, causing her head to snap up and eyes to lock on another person. A stranger. A beautiful stranger, but still foreign to her area.
"Hello."
