Personality: Caring, kind, and loving are only a few words that describe Blue Lace, but she exudes calmness and diplomacy. Blue Lace is definitely a mediator, and often travels from planet to planet, settling disputes in the Blue Diamond district. She's a passive character, without powers yet knowing exactly what to say to solve a conflict. She's a diplomat, and knows exactly how to conduct herself to make political decisions on behalf of Blue Diamond. Often times, people who are in her presence automatically feel calm and relaxed, and it's very hard to get angry with her. She does have her flaws, however, as she is quite timid, and often won't stick up for herself. Blue Lace will always do what her Diamond wants, no matter moral objections, and follows orders more out of fear than obedience. She doesn't quite agree with the colonization of planets, but she dares not to protest it, lest she gets lumped in with the rebellion.
Abilities: While not a power, exactly, Blue Lace has a very calming presence. Of course, this isn't all the time, in fact if others make her angry enough she can be very threatening. It also doesn't work if somebody experiences very strong emotions, such as intense anger or sadness.
Weapon: She can summon a simple whip, good for long distance combat.
Bio/History: Blue Lace hasn't really had much excitement in her life, ever since she popped out of the ground on some Blue Diamond colony. She followed orders, did her job, and didn't give any objections. It wasn't until she moved up the ranks of Blue Diamond's command when she gained a sense of individuality. While to her Diamond, she's known as Blue Lace Agate Facet-5F2L Cut-7XS, to those closer to her it's shortened to "Lacey" or "Blue" depending on who you ask. As she met more gems, separate from her sisters, she realized that she was an individual, not just another insignificant gem in a cluster of identical clones. Lacey excelled at her job, and got promoted to her current position, which includes traveling all across the galaxies to negotiate and ensure that everything within Blue Diamond's realm runs smoothly. While she doesn't have a lot of power, she tries to make things better for both gems and other sentient life.
When the rebellion started, she was more worried for the rebels than the Homeworld gems, mostly because she saw the Diamonds as all powerful beings who could never be defeated. She still holds this belief, despite the fact that Pink Diamond was shattered by an unruly Rose Quartz. She was saddened by the news, but did her duties regardless, working around the clock throughout the rebellion to make sure other colonies were peaceful and in line. When everything was said and done, there wasn't much she could do about it, although she had heard whispers of the atrocities that Homeworld had committed against the earthling gems. Of course, she could never get answers, but part of her always wondered if it was true...
