Oh, I should probably clarify that now that we've made the rules more lax, while we're still only allowing one of each specific summon, it's pretty okay to have one of the variations, e.g. Nix + Stria as the Shiva-Sisters, Shivan or Shivar, Raiden rather than Odin, etc etc. Obviously it's case-by-case, but I feel like I should at least open the discussion in case someone wants an Ice elemental or something since there are so few not-Shivas xD

Notable Locations

Disney

Stronghold of the Light and beacon of hope for refugees across the Convergence, Disney has grown by magnitudes in the past month and change. Now the central base for all war efforts for the cause of Light, it is filled with citizen and soldier both. Fortunately, due to the gathering of light, the aura of protection that naturally protected the small world before has grown now to encompass vast swathes of land beyond the town's original borders, allowing for refugees to set up living situations outside the walls while still benefiting from its protections.

Disney Castle has become the base of operations for the Earthlings and any hero willing to join the cause.

The Garden

Formerly known as the World That Never Was, the Garden is still floating off in space a short distance from the Convergence. Having never had a heart, this world escaped the great world merger and has since been abandoned within its shadow. However, in recent days, the world has been utterly reformed; the grand empty city is gone without a trace, and in its place is a veritable natural paradise. The great castle still hovers above a crater, but even that has been remodeled, all evidence of the original non-existent owners gone. And perhaps most extraordinary, the world has moved out of the Convergence's shadow, now bathed in the light of the sun, rotating in place to simulate a twenty-four hour cycle.

However, this idyllic land is anything but empty: anyone who attempts to approach the Garden will find that its inhabitants are merely playing defensive, biding their time. And entering the great castle seems utterly impossible without invitation...

The Realm of Darkness

Though the Heart of All Worlds was locked three years ago, and all worlds are now merged as one, regions can still be consumed by the creeping veil of the Dark Realm. In fact, the only way to enter the Realm of Darkness is through a fallen world, easily identified by the great curtain of stormclouds and black mist that ensnare a lost world's borders. Yet, while entering the land of shadows is easy, escaping back to the Realm of Light is vastly more difficult.

Once one enters the Dark Realm proper, spatial rules bend and twist. Merely backtracking might only bring you in circles; to walk in circles might take you farther into the great maw of darkness. The only guaranteed exits are the use of potent spatial or teleportation magicks, or the guidance of greater powers, such as enchantments of great light. Those who lack such gifts have but one choice: wander ever deeper into darkness, praying for sanctuary. Nothing, after all, is impossible...

Pharos at Ridorana

A gargantuan tower of ancient origin, the Pharos stands in the heart of the Realm of Darkness, emitting a cold, pale light from its peak at all times. To approach is to pass through the thickest, most volatile lands of shadow in the cosmos, where space, time, and magic itself work... differently. Beyond it, though, is stranger still: despite being a locale on this great Convergence, the region beyond the Pharos is merely void, a veil of total and lost darkness the likes of which go against all understandings of geography and physics.

This tower is the stronghold of Xehanort and his fiends, and the location of the Heart of Darkness. To approach is to welcome nothing less than the ire of all darkness.

Radiant Garden

A world filled with magitech that allows them to live as those during modern Earth, Radiant Garden still retains many scars of its besieged past. Villain's Vale still stands, still a breeding ground for Heartless of all strengths, and consequently, the town proper is forced to remain ever-vigilant, even as they've completely rebuilt their homes. In response, the successful Radiant Garden Restoration Committee has renamed itself the Radiant Garden Defense Force, a self-trained militia led by Squall Leonhart in protecting their home.

They are not alone, however. In the manufacturing district, the ShinRa Corporation has grown exponentially in the past couple years. Originally a simple energy company, their R&D sectors began research into various supernatural power sources around the same time that Ansem the Wise had begun his own research into the mysteries of the heart. With the fall and rebirth of their world, their research jumped by magnitudes due to the various new discoveries and theories born of the paradigm shift. As a result, ShinRa has become a much larger player; more than simply an energy company, they supply weapons and various other services for a price. Now, with the Convergence, another golden age of discovery is at their fingertips, and their Science division has begun scouring the worlds far and wide for new leads.

In the distance, the abandoned Hollow Bastion still stands, a testament to the hubris and sorrow of their betrayed king, Ansem the Wise. With the castle left as little more than a ruin in the past few years, Cid and Merlin had tried to keep the defensive systems running after Sora's efforts to purge the darkness, only to eventually be deterred by the ever-present Heartless. In the end, they were forced to leave the faulty systems alone, relying instead on their own citizens and ShinRa's support of the RGDF. However, in recent days, the systems seem more effective, more wide-spread--Heartless more than ever are being kept away from the town, and instead have begun to turn their hollow gazes to the old Bastion. Whatever has taken residence there has earned their ire, but has managed to keep them completely in check with the repaired--and upgraded--computer network...

The River of Spirits

A fused world composed of two clashing cultures across a great river. On one side stands New Orleans of the early Nineties, filled with the tensions caused by an increase in dark voodoo; on the other stands La Cité des Cloches, a Paris-emulation of the early 16th Century, lorded over by a corrupt religious official bent on becoming a totalitarian ruler. Though the general population of each city was generally hesitant but hospitable, Judge Frollo of Cloches condemned the neighboring city for its modern, sinful ways and its harboring of the 'evil' voodoo practitioners. Spurred on by his own dark desires, he has effectively initiated a crusade against New Orleans, and the shadowy Dr. Facilier has been all too happy to turn this to his advantage. At present, this turf war has effectively sent civilians on all sides into hiding with self-enforced curfews, lest they be caught in the colliding forces of Heartless.

Hidden away in the upper class districts of La Cité des Cloches among the various manors and abodes is a large manse known only as the Chateau de Beauvois. Once owned by an old widow, it has since been inherited by an unheard of descendant. Though the estate remains on tenuous good terms with the church, the people whisper of it as a sort of underground sanctuary for those facing oppression from any side. Yet, what few who attempt to enter uninvited find themselves too nervous to do so, a strange chill running down their spines deterring them from venturing beyond the gates...

Xarcabard

A long-lost world, the ruins of civilization are scattered about this forsaken place where shadow has held dominion for eons. Cold and desolate, it has largely been left alone as another dark speck in the realm for Heartless to inhabit. Yet the beasts grow more fervent; it seems the ancient fortress of Castle Zvahl has found a new lord, and with it, a great stronghold of Darkness has been reborn, repurposed. What surprises lurk there are sure to haunt the nightmares of any who intrude.

So I posted this up on Discord, but as I said, I'll also post it up here for people who don't use Discord.

HA's obviously hit that familiar standstill where we're just a little too busy to keep playing the 'small talk' socialize scene. Normally, this is where we go ahead and time skip a bit to the point of moving along.

That said, given the general busyness of our offline lives, I'm wondering how far ahead we should go ahead and skip.

So we have two options. First, the standard, is just to time skip through breakfast, have some meeting/chatter before leaving for the hangar to fly off. Second, though, is we could bypass that bit all together. We know where we're going--Greece--and unless one of you has something super specific you want to occur mid-transit, we mods don't have any plans for interruptions. As such, we could also just as easily fast-travel us straight to arriving at Greece and walking off the ship.

I've altered the thread to have a poll. If you haven't already voted in the Discord chat, vote here. If you have voted in the Discord chat, do not vote here!
