MAPS & GUIDES
Here we have some diagrams and tools to help you roleplay at Lubchenko!

        Starting with the Event Generator
This is created to make things fair in the role-play if events were to come up. Let's say there's a fight, an accident, or something that you simply could not agree upon or make up your mind about. Here's a helpful thread to help you decide or decide for you!

              Make a Hit
First of all, you will be using the "Post Action" option at the bottom of your "reply" text box for any reason you'll use this event thread.

Let's say you were doing a poker game, you will number the listed random choices and then choose random number option in the post action and set the lowest number to the lowest number you listed (which will probably be one) and the highest number to the highest number you listed (this will vary). After you press submit you will get a number and that number will reflect on the list you made and therefore be your character's choice of action.

For fights, you can have a "win or loose" situation or a "hit or miss" situation if you take a roll before your reply each time the fight's in session.

For a "win or loose" situation, you will put the numbered choices "win" and "loose" as many times as you want (more than once, but always equal).

For a "hit or miss" situation, there is a hit or miss system below and you will use dice option this time with one six-sided di. These are the different types of hit and an idea of what each hit is: "Light Hit: You broke little to no skin, you injured them in some small way but nothing to really injure your opponent. Medium, Hit: You managed to penetrate through the skin, maybe cracked a skin or made it harder for your opponent to move. Hard Hit: Broke through the skin and down to the bone, maybe even broke a bone or immobilized your opponent for a few seconds Critical Hit: Broke something, maybe even hit something major. Perhaps made your opponent unable to move or gave them a fatal blow" Hits can stack up. Two light hits will make a medium hit. Two medium will make a hard. Two hard will make a critical. If you hit light then medium then it makes a hard.

                xxxxxxxxxx1x Miss
                xxxxxxxxxx2x Light Hit
                xxxxxxxxxx3x Light Hit
                xxxxxxxxxx4x Medium Hit
                xxxxxxxxxx5x Hard Hit
                xxxxxxxxxx6x Critical Hit

To use this neat trick of mine, fill out the code below and post in this thread whenever the event comes up for it.

                 T A K E x A x H I T

Generating Roll for :: Character Name Here
I've rolled a # meaning I've landed (a type of hit here) against OTHER CHARACTER NAME HERE.

                Pain or No Pain
As far as if the students feel pain or not the STUDENTS will decide as a group. Example: If there is two students and they both agree they don't want to feel the pain then they don't feel pain... same thing go for if they do want to feel pain.

Now let's take into consideration that their is two students and one wants to feel pain while the other doesn't. At this point we will role the dice here to see if they will pain or not. If the dice rolls no-pain then it's simply no pain... however, if the dice rolls pain then the pain is broke into only 50% percent of what the student would have felt before.

To do this, make a reply to this thread and choose post action > roll dice > four sided > one die.

                  xxxxxxxxxx1x Pain
                  xxxxxxxxxx2x No Pain
                  xxxxxxxxxx3x Pain
                  xxxxxxxxxx4x No Pain

(The combat arena is NOT meant to be like that of another "Hunger Games" television show.
The combat arena is meant to allow students to learn to defend themselves in any environment and to learn to use the environment around them to their advantage.)

Entering The Arena:
To enter the combat arena one must first enter through a portal which can be found by following a trail deep in the woods, almost near the mountains. Once a person steps through this portal they have entered the Lubchenko Combat Arena. Here, the land is completely virtual, even your own body. Once inside the portal there is two hallways and a door. The rather large hallway that leads off to the right will take you directly to the seats to be part of the audience. The rather large hallway that is in the middle will take you to a room (<-- click for a example of what it will look like.) that is where the contestants will seat and watch what is going on out in the arena while they wait for their turn to fight. Finally the the identification password protected door will lead you to the control room.

Being Part Of The Audience:
In this land, in the main state, you may have a seat on the steps to be part of the audience. However this all depends on the arena. For example the arena where it is just a field of grass (C) or the maze arena (E) the audience will go down the same hall way as before but this time they will enter a room (<-- click for a example of what it will look like.) where their will be lots of seating surrounded by projector so they will be able watch what is going inside the arena. However, the other arenas like the normal state and the tournament arena (H) there is places to seat. So in tournaments like these the audience (student/staff body) can come in and have a seat accordingly. Here they will be in a safe zone protected by a invisible force field. (Example: If there is something being thrown around in the arena and something goes flying toward the audience.... it will automatically be defected and fall to the ground.

Fighting In The Arena:
This room is made to be completely safe for anyone that is fighting. Though the pain may feel real, nothing is actually being damaged to your real body. After all, no can actually die in this land. The instance before someone hits their "point of death" they are automatically teleported out of the area of combat and back to a safe zone (the entry way in front of the hallways) where they are automatically healed back to their original health they was at when they first stepped through the portal.

(Each student/staff that is in a fight are allowed five (at most) posts in a fight scene. So therefore a the "fight" doesn't last for pages while the role-play is moving on.
Check out the "Event Generator" for fair hits.
When you are on your last post (and if you have not already made the decision who will win among yourselves) then you will go to the "Event Generator" and will post correctly to see who will win. ~ If you are on the losing team... well... of course you hit your brink of death and get teleported out of the arena back to the safe zone.

          PAIN OR NO PAIN:
As far as if the students feel pain or not the STUDENTS will decide as a group. Example: If there is two students and they both agree they don't want to feel the pain then they don't feel pain... same thing go for if they do want to feel pain.

Now let's take into consideration that their is two students and one wants to feel pain while the other doesn't. At this point we will role the dice (HERE) to see if they will pain or not. If the dice rolls no-pain then it's simply no pain... however, if the dice rolls pain then the pain is broke into only 50% percent of what the student would have felt before.

TEACHERS MUST FOLLOW THIS RULE AT ALL TIMES OR TERMINATION WILL OCCUR.

The Control Room:
In this virtual land there is one control room that is controlled by (NPC - that is soon to be made) or a staff member. It scans for your identification (it will pick up on doppelgangers, shape-shifters, etc.) and is protected by a password that only the headmaster can give you. Every password is different so she can keep track of who is running it to make sure things run smoothly. This control room controls every single aspect of the arena except for what the portal looks like on the outside. They can change rather the students feel pain or not, the can change the weather, the temperature, and even so much as how the room itself looks like.

The Normal State:
The normal state of the arena is a roughly square pit constructed of ancient stone. The vertical sides are topped with vicious spikes that prevent any prey (or any unworthy predators) from escaping. The pit itself is filled with tall square columns that provide for vertical combat, as well as giving the arena floor a vaguely maze-like feel. Vents in the pit's floor are capable of spewing flame intermittently for an additional hazard.

Pictures Of The Arena:
Here are pictures of what the arena is able to turn into. The pictures with the (*) beside the letter that titles them are the arenas where there is seating. While the others will take you to a room to watch the fight. (There may also be descriptions of the arena under the photos.)

Important Information:
The combat area is always open for three kinds of tournaments: team tournaments, one-on-one, or one-against-all tournaments.

When you win in the tournament, you are granted a reward, that normally of cash, which you can spend at the campus activity center, anything else on campus or in the near by town.

FAQS:
How does the rolling the dice for battles come into play for this?

That all can be explained here. This would be the fairest way to go, really. When it comes to the hits and the wins/losts.

This chart was created to get a visual of where everyone is sitting during the dinner. Talk with the people your character is currently sitting with and decide where to place your group. Then post which seat your character is sitting in so I can update the chart.
