Shira muttered as she... or rather he walked through the eerie looking courtyard. This was a "deja vu" moment in more ways than one. Being tricked by Charlotte's doll for a Halloween event and being turned into the opposite gender. Shira glanced around some more before glancing at the building. It looked normal on the outside... inside was another story though since he had just got done running through all sorts of different rooms. ▬ ▬ ▬

Aeron had expected spiked drinks. That was totally normal for a party, even one supposedly hosted by the school. What he didn't expect was that the drinks would be spiked with magic. And there he was, hoping a little bit that it was alcohol because than at least he could enjoy it a little bit. Aeron sincerely hoped this type of occurrence wasn't normal in the city. He had left whatever place he had been in before in a panic when he felt himself physically shrinking. It wasn't until he caught a glimpse of himself in a reflective surface that he realized that he had become a girl, one that looked nearly identical to his sister no less. As if by chance, or perhaps fate, he noted a figure that looked not to far off from what he imagined a male version of his sister to be like. "Shira?" he, well she, called out in her now feminine voice as Aeron began cautiously moving towards the figure.

He turned and saw... himself? Herself? He suddenly realized who it may be then. He grinned then "Aeron!" Shira walked over to his brother... or rather sister now. ▬ ▬ ▬

Aeron let out a sigh of relief, a smile forming on her face when it did turn out to be her sister...brother? She took quick strides forward to meet Shira halfway. "I-is this supposed to happen? Like, is this a normal thing around here? Please tell me this didn't become a thing while I was away. I didn't sign up for this."

It was a relief that this type of oocurence didn't happen often enough times to become normal. She supposed the fact that it happened at all kept life insteresting so long as things eventually went back to normal. Aeron wasn't sure how long she could survive feeling as if she was stuck in her sist- brother's female body. The hypothetical life flashing through her mind sent shivers down her spine. "I won't as long as we figure out what's going on. Where do we even begin? Do we even have a clue of who or what is behind this?"

Well the DMA head has this doll... and the past couple of time we have had Halloween events, the doll has always been the one behind that stuff... So that's the one behind it," Shira replied before looking around some more. "Though the building is a maze now. I am guessing the doll is in the ballroom still so we gotta try and somehow get there."▬ ▬ ▬

Aeron's face immediately transformed into one of shock and disbelief at the fact that a doll was behind this. It was even more shocking to hear that this wasn't the first time either. If they knew the doll was capable of such things, why wasn't it watched over a little more carefully, or something to an extent where it couldn't cause this kind of trouble. The whole thing was puzzling to her since she hadn't been here for those past incidents and didn't know exactly what this doll was. Closing her mouth from shock, she straightened herself out and cleared her throat. "Well, I suppose we should head out as soon as possible. Should we run into any unexpected dangerous encounters, we'll at least have each other. Let's try to find the others as well."

Aeron returned the nod and kept pace with her sister, well brother in this case. This all seemed to much for an elaborate prank by a doll, but it was what it was. She really wasn't going to start asking questions now -- not when it wasn't their first priority. "You know speaking of the others, where is your partner?" Aeron had only seen her sister's partner once, and from afar. The two had yet to be formally introduced, and she only knew of the idea of the group, really. She had seen pictures, heard what they were like, but that was all. Aside from Shira and Dara, she didn't know the others very well at all. If anything, this party was going to turn into a great team work exercise she thought with a sigh and roll of her eyes. "I hope we find them soon. This place is giving me the major creeps, and I certainly hope it isn't one of those mazes that change their paths. That would be awful." she said before they exited the courtyard into whatever part of the school the path would lead them to.
