Stagehand's technique: slight of hand - Rank C - she can divert someone's attention to a single point allowing her to hide a very slight action in plain sight in front of them. Difficult to detect even by a genjutsu master due to the speed and subtlety of it. By the time you break yourself free of it, it probably wont matter that you've done so. To use this she needs a vague idea of where their attention probably is to begin with which is much easier if they have something to do. This can also help distract for someone else since the victim may or may not stop paying attention to whatever it was their attention was guided to or locked onto. With a good memory they may sense that something was off.

History
A lazy girl made it through ninja school but didn't have the desire to go further and risk her life for a nation that had more use for her back at home anyways. Her mother, and grandmother had been quite the bombshells in their day and were popular among the men, especially for their theatre performances and ability to draw in foreign money. She'd do a bit of the same though they would become more insistent on her committing to becoming a chunin for some more active roles in both local and foreign affairs like her family members had been, especially now that she was old enough to.. "this and that" as her former teacher put it with a funny look on his face. Though what he really wanted to say was that there werecertain jobs they couldn't have kids handling because no amount of training could really prepare one for clandestine affairs.. especially since Kumogakure had gotten in so much trouble for going too far in the past and had a terrible reputation regarding such.
Up until then she'd done minor work but would accept the advice and start getting into more serious work but would insist that she wanted to stay near to home or at least start out slow and stay in this sort of field. She'd do theatre, art, mingling with visitors, luring in visitors, all sorts of stuff. Though technically a genin she had on occasion been outside of the village to do specific work after displaying some talent for it over the several years. A combination of that and their difficulty saying no to her very.. persuasive.. mother would speed her along the path back onto becoming a chunin. She would be the second in her clan to achieve such a thing, her mother being the first.
