We have a small dev team and a large task list, so some tasks will take higher priority over others (such as infrastructure updates).

It hasn't been discontinued at the moment, we just ended up having to currently put it on hold while we address some other things

Hiya, um, a new CI was listed in the Cash Shop not too long ago, and they were mispriced for a short time. I ended up buying a 25-pack for 449 Gaia Cash before the price got changed to the correct 1999 Gaia Cash. I haven't opened it yet and I was just wondering if you wanted to take that back. sweatdrop I didn't want to risk getting my account in trouble.

It depends! We are working on getting through them at the moment.
If you have a specific type of ticket it is usually stated in the rules. However Quartz Stubs have no specific turnaround.

From the last ATS. I've been noticing that quite a few more recent items that have a bare skin arm/leg mod haven't had fantasy skin support. Not even in recolors. It's a lot more noticeable with MCs but I've seen some LQIs start to have this trend as well. I was wondering if fantasy skin support for these mods are coming?
There are a lot of fantasy skin users who would love to use the mods, but can't because of this.

Can you put a warning when people buy large amounts of gc or use a new cc that their passes will be temp disabled?
I made a thread in site feedback here.
It would prevent a lot of rage and confusion theres like 4+ threads a day asking about why their pass was banned in Q & A and lots more all over the site.
The only warning we have is a buried old staff announcement.

Absolutely!!! We take things like account security, and site integrity seriously, which is why things like this have presently been prioritized over other updates like guilds and forums. This isn't to say these things aren't important, but sometimes you have to make such choices.

...Actually we have a mobile web version of forums sitting in SCAS. I can follow up on it's status, if it looks good, it would address this issue.

In the aquarium, I was told the error message:
"It appears as if there was a problem updating your tank. Perhaps you are logged out? Try refreshing the page and log back in."
is caused by having party balls in my tank. (I had tried a new browser and computer and I still got this message) What would be the solution to this? I'm not sure how I'd take those out if those are the problem since I can't get into the tank.

You'll need to send in a ticket so that the item can be removed from the tank manually by admin/devs

I wondered if it would be possible to enlighten us a little on the process that's in use. We don't need to know your super secret stuff, but it would be helpful if everyone was aware of why there seems to a shuffling of avatars. Several have speculated that it's due to a tie and the avatars entered earlier move to the top of that pile. That sounds like a reasonable explanation but it would be really nice if we could know if that was actually the case.

In the event multiple entries had the same number of votes it would be pulled at the databases discretion, in which case it is possible for the order to change at a later period.
However, depending on what is occuring we would likely want to investigate further to ensure this is not some other bug or issue. If it isn't, this could further be addressed by ordering the database return by entry time, which probably should have been done in the first place sweatdrop

Since you don't have a lot of devs, why won't you look into hiring temporary interns to do some of the updating work? Surely there are programmers fresh out of college that need experience and we really could use them for bug fixes and updates to various areas of the site. Interns don't get paid a whole lot if at all so it won't be draining your resources.

This is a bit of a catch 22. The Gaia codebase is so old, most interns require significant 'hand holding' to work on the site, which then pulls the existing experienced engineers from their projects. So while this would be a fantastic solution, the age of the site actually works against us and it often takes an experienced engineer to grasp the site in a reasonable amount of time.
