Alistair stared at the two statues in the square. he had spent time tracing the people till he saw the woman make no more attempts at escape. he came to this temple hoping to get some idea as to what he might get, but as always. he did not see to many people in the Maude.
Allistair closed his eyes. he walked towards the statue of the phoenix woman. made of fine marble he let his hand touch it. he sighed.
it would not take long. his body burned. as always it would burn.
he felt it coming, something coming. in the edges of his mind he felt the consciousness of the stone. he heard the snap of his bones. he could almost feel his skin toughening, the softness leaving his body. his blood becoming thicker. his heart the pulse began to become his very being.
he wanted to scream but his lips became sealed and toughened. His scream locked up inside of himself.
he felt the sound of many voices joining his own. and so the second prince of the empire was gone. he existed no more.
in his place there two pulsing blue whispers.
