A world so perfect is perfectly boring lol.  Sarah Bellamy "I'm sorry for speaking out of turn and beyond my station." The queen's voice gave Sarah a chill. Threat of death was something quite new, but Sarah had over stepped her boundaries. She was a maid and even if she were the head maid she wasn't in their family. This was a matter close to everyones heart. Even Aldon showed the weight of this decision on his heart by the light in his eyes. With Athena beging for everyone to stop Sarah felt so emotionally that she held back tears of stress. She couldn't help her friend in the slightest and this family is at odds about how they are handling the sudden pregnancy of the princess. How did things end up this way? Sarah then feels the need to comfort Kaiden but how can she right now when the eyes of the others were here. As soon as Ѵaleska and Aldon leave the room Sarah would rub her cheek against the back of her protective prince and then kiss his back to comfort him. "We must see to our loved ones. They need us right now."

Kaiden felt Sarah rubs her cheek against his back then kissed it but he was so angry at Aldon and his mother then he said,"Athena, I will be with you every step of the way..I will support you, Roland and the baby..If the queen and Aldon were to speak to you more about this then I want to be there..you are my younger sister and not just the princess of Zalto..True Mother is the queen but after what she said to Sarah and you..I will not forgive her.."
Kaiden wanted everyone to be happy and over joyed by this news and then he continues,"Athena..Do try and take it easy and let things blow over in time..I want to let you know that I am here for you if you need me.." then he slightly turns as if he was facing Sarah,"Sarah, please be careful around Aldon and the queen.." then he strokes her cheek with two his fingers and is careful not to get blood on her face then he said,"I will be in the city making my rounds with the guards..send Crys if you need me to return..I love you both.." he walks off and heads toward the city.

After all any normal family would have the same thing happen, so it makes perfect sense....Athena silently listened as things seemed to escalate rather quickly, causing more tears to fall from her eyes. She hadn't wanted her family fighting like this and yet here they were doing just that. When Aldon finally looked her way she saw the anger, disappointment and the softness behind his eyes. Of course she only gave a slight nod to let him know she understood and would wait for him to name the time for their talk, getting a feeling that she would most likely end up crying that much more during it as well. Once both her eldest brother and beloved mother had left the room, she wiped her tears trying to calm herself, to no avail. Hearing Kaiden however made her smile for a moment before she breathed a heavy sigh. "Thank you for the support Kaid, but please forgive mother. She has every right to be angry with me for this. I was the one who allowed it to happen and I should have known better. The child growing within me is a mistake that cannot be undone and should have been prevented in the first place." She murmured softly before sighing once more. "I don't think Aldon would allow you to be there while we talk, but thank you for wanting to be with me during them. If you are allowed I'll gladly welcome your presence." She added before finally standing up so that she could leave the room behind him. "I know you are Kaid, you're a wonderful brother. Be careful on your rounds and please don't dwell on this situation too much." She cooed softly before watching him leave the room. At that point she looked over to Sarah with a defeated and sad smile. "I shall be in my chambers hidden away so this mistake doesn't see the light." She said before turning back around and making her way towards her room, wanting to write to her beloved Roland.

"Please don't be too upset with your mother and brother. Athena has a point in saying they have some right in being mad. They are worried about what is to happen and that's to be understood. They worry for Athena because they are uncertain of what the future holds. Please give them time Kaiden...They'll come around in time." She sneaks a kiss upon Kaiden's cheek just before he leaves and wishes him that he keep safe and not let this meeting cloud his heart. The head maid held high hopes for the royal family, even with her own heart feeling clouded at the moment. With Kaiden having gone Sarah was now to tend to her broken hearted princess. "Princess, please wait for me." She gave no reason as to why she was to follow her friend but did she really need to say anything? They were all in the same room and heard the same things. If Athena is hurting then Sarah was not going to leave her side. As the head maid it is her duty to tend to her royal family.

Kaiden was sitting on the chair as a few of his books were laid out in the table as he used his index finger to slide it across the pages as he felt the words form in his mind as he was reading out the words his brain. A couple of maids came by and asked if he wanted anything, some occasions he asked for tea or more books on a certain subject he was interested in.
Taya Ren entered the dining hall with Serota close by her side then she saw the prince on the table when he lifted his head up,"Ah, Taya, glad you are recovering nicely.."Taya was scared on meeting the crown prince of Zalto then she bows her head,"I-I am sorry for causing trouble sire.."Kaiden chuckles as he places the book down,"Its alright and please, call me Cross..Anything to eat or drink?" Taya stand sup straight,"I don't want to impose.." Kaiden chuckles once more,"Its alright, Maid please bring some food and drink for Taya as well as her friend.."
The maid smiles,"Of course my prince.." she heads into the kitchen while Kaiden lifted his hand alittle toward another chair,"Have a seat, its okay..I don't bite.." he laughs alittle as Taya nods and sat down on the chair near his then as he took his seat he then said,"Now, what brings you to Zalto?" Taya looks at him then to Serota who just lays beside and close to her chair then she said,"I am a dancer and singer, I thought I be able to find work here in the city to make a living for myself.."
Kaiden nods his head,"What of your family?" Taya looks at her hands as she was silent for a moment which Kaiden was nervous,"I-I am sorry for asking, if your not ready to answer then its okay.."Taya smiles,"Thank you but I can tell you of my adoptive family is a gypsy caravan, I left my caravan in hopes of persuing my dream as singer and Dancer.."
Kaiden smiles,"I am sure there are Taverns her in the city are looking for an entertainer such as yourself.." Taya smiles happily,"Oh thank you my prin-I-I mean Cross..thank you so much.." she takes his hand which made him jump then he chuckles,"Its no problem Taya..I hope this considered us as Friends," Taya smiles big,"Oh yes, aside from Serota, I dont have many friends.." she looks at her hands on his then she blushed in embarrassment,"S-Sorry," Kaiden smiles,"Its alright.."
He soon heard the maid come back with food and drink for Taya and Serota then he said,"Go ahead and eat Taya..you must be hungry.." Taya nods,"That I am.." she takes a plate then put some scraps of meat then sets it infront of Serota then pets him then she started eating her share while Serota looks at Kaiden then started eating while Kaiden grabs his book he was reading and continues his study.

Trying to balance out work and personal time with Kaden has become impossible due to running about and transferring letters for her king and queen. The duties of a maid are never done...so when will that give Sarah time to be a proper wife to her lover Kaden. Sarah had been one of the maids that checked on prince Kaiden as he studied in the dinning hall, and she was the one ordered to fetch the food for their latest guest and her pet. Sarah didn't know why but she felt something different in the room after standing off to the sides like the good maid she was. The aura around the woman was something Sarah though she could feel change. Her cheeks were slightly blushed after all. "Taya, was it? Have you happen to have heard the rumors of the glass structure being found in the deserts of Zalto?"

Taya manage to finish eating then she nods her head,"I only heard rumors from the people that actually went to the desert but not as much really..they said that the winds blew some sand away and it uncovered a good amount..but I never heard anything about it later after that.." Serota looks at the maid that spoke but continues to eat his meal.
Kaiden stopped reading as he listen to Taya speak about the glass structure, he wanted to go and check it out but he was needed here but he started to think about the structure then he closed his book gently,"As anyone ever been to the desert as of now?" Taya looks at the prince then she looks at Serota who looks back at her then she looks back at Kaiden again and shakes her head,"N-No, at least I don't think so..you are not planning on going to find it are you? no body knows the actually location yet and plus its nothing but sand..People get lost and never be seen again.."
Kaiden nods,"I know how dangerous it can be especially for me not being able to see at all but its worth checking it out.." Taya was not to sure on what he meant about him not being able to see, confusion was written all over her face. Serota yawns big as he sat down near Taya's chair as he looks around the room as he saw other people doing their jobs around the castle.

"But I can't fully advise that you go out there Kaiden. You said yourself, your vision impairment isn't ideal for exploring our kingdom's vast deserts." Since it seems her prince hasn't told everything about his eyes to Taya, Sarah played along and worked with what he's spoken of. Yet, there was a real reason as to why she said what she said. "Also...what about your brother? He has been Ill for quite some time, and gods forbid if anything were to happen to him but what would be of the throne if something should...you know." She didn't want to think about Aldon passing away, but should it happen wasn't their am question of succession to the throne? "Not only that...Do you know how much I worry about you every time you go patrolling with the city guards?"

Kaiden just smiles as he sets the book on the table,"I know, that is why I am remaining here until my brother is recovered..I know Aldon will pull through, he is just as tough as Dragon scales.." he lifted his head up while his bangs were moved to the side uncover his emotionless gaze as he extended his hand toward Sarah so she held his hand out toward her,"That is why I am not with guards now..I am here.." he smiles lightly.
Taya looks at Kaiden's eyes then she said,"E-Excuse me um Cross right?" Kaiden nods his head,"Or Kaiden or Kaid.." Taya nods her head,"M-May I ask..A-Are you um..blind?" Kaiden was silent for a good few minutes then Taya then raises her hands in defense,"I-I am so sorry to be so direct..I-I didn't m-mean.." she really had done it now, it was going so well until she had opened her mouth.
Kaiden was not happy about his blindness but he was able to make it work to his advantage, people in the city still reject him and said horrible things about him being cursed but he just lowered his head a little so his hair hides his eyes then he made a calm smile,"Its okay Taya, calm yourself..I am indeed blind ever since I was born but its nothing to be ashamed about.."
Serota just stares at Kaiden as his ears lowered but Taya pets him to break his stare then she said,"O-of course.." then the entire room was quiet but the other people that work at the castle can feel Kaiden is feeling very uneasy then he said as he gently stands up,"Continue Eating Taya..If you need anything please do not hesitate to ask.." Taya stands up as well then bows her head,"T-Thank you so much for you kindness.."
Kaiden smiles and nods then as he walks over to Sarah then whispers into her ear,"When you have time meet me in my chambers.." he slips his hands into his pockets as the other staff bows their head and he exits the hall. The other maids gathered the books to put them away.
Taya looks at Sarah then she said,"I am such a fool..I should have kept my mouth shut.." she looks away as she grips her skirt tightly as her hand shakes, Serota licks her hand to calm her down which it slightly works.
