Evelyn sighed and shook her head "truly it is the same thing that I thought when I heard. I tried to convince him otherwise but he seems just so dead set on it that...in all honesty its just been a day now since he's accused me of such things but I've pretty much just given up on persuading him." she smiled slightly "I'm sorry if it causes any trouble though. If Roland had been intimate with me it would have been a different story then if it had been with a servant-" she stopped herself at what she was about to say and almost laughed, a smile once again finding its way to her face "Not that he would. Some times after battle plans we would drink together, but you know how people seem to love making up grandiose stories" Evelyn actually let out a soft chuckle "I'm not even immune to such things. Hearing tall tales even if they arent true are much more interesting to hear then 'oh they just sat in a room and talked over wine'" Evelyn said, rolling her eyes "oh, I've never been a big reader, but back when I was training in the royal army when my father was Emperor, all the men would gather around a fire and make up beautiful stories about a woman they met while travelling though some hidden village in the woods where they saw the most beautiful women bathing and they fell in love at first sight... or my favourite one of my best friends told me once." she leaned forward slightly "We where both hiding in the corner of the Blind Witch Tavern years ago and she told me that she had once been travelling though the Ashlands and she saw the god of Phobos himself fighting invisible men so ferouciously that it looked like he was dancing with six swords." she smiled as she leaned back away from her "And that when she first met his eyes she fell in love with the Phobosian god and saw more then just war behind his eyes but emotion and sadness as well and that since then shes always wanted to be his priestess" Evelyn smiled.


Nero looked at Leon and Arthur and nodded his head as he opened the book to the first page where a painting of a snow covered mountain covered with flowers was painted with words across it "I sawded her once, her hair wasented fairer like tories told, but darkedness like a moond-less night. Evelyn sighed as she leaned on her hand and looked over at the boys for a second before looking away, a small girlish part of her kind of wished still that falling in love at first sight was something she could do, but she couldn't. Just the thought of it made her cringe and though she did enjoy the thought of falling for the stupid snowball that started this mess that was once supposed to be her wedding but now had been cancelled before it even began she saw the point in what Athena said despite her seeming to be so innocent in heart. Another point to make though was for some reason the thought of someone falling for her made her cringe and she tried to put it into perspective, imagening if someone actually fell for her and imediately the desire for love crashed inside her. For some reason she didn't want someone to be in love with her and yet she didn't mind falling in love instead, it was only when those feelings were returned that made her no longer enjoy loving that person. That made her feel slightly messed up so instead she looked back at Athena and smiled as she listened to her instead of listening to her own thoughts, she would sort out her own mess when she had time "It sounds like you've been blessed." she said to Athena and sighed "After your wedding it sounds as if you're going to have the perfect life and really, I can't help but be slightly envious of you" she smiled, but at the mention of her two boys being flirtatious the Empress shivered "I hope Nero doesn't grow to like girls until he's old enough to take care of himself. I don't know what I'd do when he starts that phase of his life" she said as she watched Leon jump into his mothers arms, yes. Very envious. Her own son never bothered to do that...not that she could blame him, she wasn't able to pay him much attention the first nearly four years of his life and now that she could she had to separate her time between raising him and running what remained of the Empire, the thought was depressing.

Nero looked at Arthur in surprise, he didn't think that he would have liked to learn and Nero nodded his head as he pointed to the next word that followed "My ethen mother had someone teach me how to read by breaking up the words" he said to him and covered the word beautiful up so it was only the BE "see, you read like this" he said and started uncovering the word as he sounded it out "be...a...u...ti..full" he then went back and covered the word up to the U and said "Beau....tiful and then he pointed to the word "Beautiful" he smiled.

Smiling slightly as she listened to her Evelyn couldn't hope but remember some of the things that she had heard from her siblings before they passed. Anyone that had tried to court her older sister in the past had found themselves on a one way trip away from court, same thing with her older brother "I'm glad that you and Roland found each other then and that Aldon finally relented. I doubt Roland is ever going to speak of it but the battles were very harsh" she said as she looked Athena up and down for a second before smiling "You are good for him" she said.

At the mention of her sons being flirts Evelyn rolled her eyes. She wasn't looking forward to that with Nero, He was already tough to get though to as it was and having to talk to him about girls would be worse. Luckily she only had about ten years before such a fatality occurred "Anyway, we should get back on topic. A wedding with food after ward and a celebratory ball after ward. Is their anything you don't want?" she asked her curiously "or that you'd want to avoid be it people or things you're allergic to?" she asked.

Nero shook her head and pointed sneakily at Evelyn "She din teach me." he said to him "Mother Kai did" he said before he then watched at Arthur started to read. As he attempted Nero slowly nodded his head and once he put the word together Nero gave him an affirming nod with a big smile on his face "good. Now this one" he pointed to a word, Daffodil, "try" Nero said.

Evelyn nodded her head and made a mental note that if any flowers were to be used they she probably be kept to the sides or above head so any bees and flying creatures would stay well away from the bride to be. Yet at the mention of the Drosselmeyers Evelyn raised an eyebrow, she hadn't forgotten about them but she had been putting them out of her mind in an attempt to keep her sanity and not seem like a raging bitchaholic. "I've only met Elentiya once but she seems nice, besides she is your sister in law, I wouldn't dream of barring her from seeing your wedding" she said but then the other Drosselmeyers, she trusted Alistar enough but he was currently MIA dealing with his now position far far away from the crown. Then their was Gerath who was also MIA for years now, and the last one that she was aware of that was still alive was Esther. She had been trying to reach out to the dear cousin with no avail but as she thought on it, perhaps she would be so inclined to come to a wedding, it would be a very deceptive move and very political, which Athena didn't want, but she needed to speak with her dear Cousin, things would remain unresolved until she did "as bad as this is going to sound, I think almost all of the Sadistic Drosselmeyers have been murdered by now" she said as she thought about it, Crown Prince Valter had been poisoned by his sister Titania, Titania had been beheaded by her father Azazel, Azazel had according to the report had his hand bitten off by a bloodworm and cracked his skull open, Princess Ursula had been assassinated in Ethe. "According to a letter I received from your sister in law shes currently a guest in Ethe... I could extend an invitation to her current host to see if it will bridge any gaps between Zalto, Lionis and Ethe" she said to her.

Nero looked at him and smiled when he got it right, his tiny chest puffed out slightly as he nodded his head "thats right." he grinned "soon you'll be read as good as me he grinned and when he compared Youkimi to a nanny Nero hesitated, it was kind of like that but something a bit different "yes...ish" he paused, how would he explain it. He pointed at his own mother, Evelyn, who sat on the throne "Ma lost me a long while ago" he said and paused "Mama Kai kept me safe until Ma found me...." he wiggled a little uncomfortably "I know Mama Kai better so...shes my Ethen Mother" he said, not knowing if it made sense. In all truth he didn't really like his real mother, he didn't know her to well and she was harsher looking then Mama Kai. He saw his real mother as very strong and powerful but she was also scarey and distant and he didn't like the white haired freak she had been with last time. He didn't trust him and he wanted him to stay away from his mother, so he did care for his mother...but Mama Kai had been around him longer, she was less distant and had taught him almost everything he knew, his writing, his Ethen language, he had even started this thing called Shui-Mo that he couldn't do here because no one knew what it was. He wasn't as protective as his Mama Kai because he felt that she was smarter then his actual mother "Mama Kai likes me more then Mama Empress" he whispered softly.
