Right as Superman was about to answer his question, his attention was set on Brainiac’s ship. He knew this was the moment, this was the reason he was sent back in time. To prevent Brainiac from making Clark sick. He made his way to the battle, zipping through the city as fast as he could. With every second that Clark was near Brainiac it meant that he could get infected. As he made his way to Big Blue, he encountered some of Brainiac’s toys. Within a blink of an eye, electricity surround each drone. Within a mere few seconds each drone was taken apart like some cheap toy.
As he moved through the city making his way to Superman, he took out any drones that he came across. With civilians hesitating to get away from the battle zone; most likely scared that they wouldn’t make it far from the drones. Barry made his way to civilians. Speaking as calm as he could, he had a event to prevent. ”I need you all to get to safety, I’ll cover you.” With that said, he sped off into the direction the drones were coming from. As each one came closer to him he began his attack on each one. They stood no chance against the speedster; holding nothing back with his brutal strikes. While the civilians made it to a safer distance, he made his way to the Man of Steel.
Within a mere few seconds he was closer to the destination, as he approached he could see a dark figure standing there with drones destroyed around. In his timeline these two men were friends, possibly best friends. But in this timeline, how trusting would Bruce be if Barry had told him to do something impossible? Quickly approaching the Dark Knight, in a determined tone he spoke. ”We need to get Superman away from Brainiac. The sooner the better. You just gotta trust me?” He was ready to do anything he had to do to prevent the hell he just came from.

Diana nodded after Superman had told them to be careful though it did go unnoticed. Continuing to protect the people who were defenseless, she figured out her own small strategic plan to take out a hand full of drones. Deflecting incoming projectiles, Diana sprinted then came to flight as she sliced into the numerous drones. Their wired limbs, legs, etc falling to the ground. She now began using her lesson to reel in more and stab them through their heads as well as torsos and slicing the wiring off from their hands/arms/legs/feet. Off in the next street, cries for help could be heard but one scream would become four then eight, and soon after twenty. Diana could hear the sounds of infants, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters yelling for help--at this point, any type of help. How could she save everyone? Could she get there in time? Speeding off into the air, she decided it would probably be best to resolve each situation as best she could and minimize the greater number of casualties waiting to happen. Sure, this might have seemed like a roll of the dice, but if it would cut the losses, it was probably her best bet. Taking on the North and West sides of the city of Metropolis, Diana reassured herself in what she was doing as well as the civilians around her. She would be diving down, hacking at a drone, and leading the bundle of people to a safer location and repeating this. The helpless wouldn't be silenced, but the numbers would be cut by half or more. Encountering a group of drones terrorizing a group of two families as she saw them, she gritted her teeth and spoke out to the wired monsters. "My will is to save these people. You mechanical brutes are getting in the way of that." After she spoke, she leaped into the air, jolting her sword head first into one of the drones and as it fell, she lassoed the others with slight grunts, but this time used her tiara as a weapon again, cutting through the exposed wires on the joint like areas of the drones.

Everything was happening so fast, Hal was having a hard time keeping up with the pace of things. "Brainiac couldn't have gotten the spring on us this easy, what the hell did we miss?!" Hal yelled over the shared communications line to his team. One minute everything was dandy and fine in Metropolis, now explosions lit the sky and smoke filled the air. Brainiac's forces swamped the streets, gunning down innocent after innocent. Hal was wherever he could be in time, shielding men, women, and children alike from the firepower that would ultimately lead to their premature deaths. His bright emerald construct formed into one giant brick like wall. As the lasers pinged against the protection, Hal pressed forward, the construct moving with him and getting wider as he guided a group of people to the other side for safety. "Stick together, whatever you do, do not separate!" Hal called out to those he was protecting. The group began to enlarge as others found safety and refuge behind the ever expanding barrier of willpower.
With the straight path away from the destruction clear as day, Hal pushed the barrier outward, slamming the multitude and dozens of drones flying backwards and slamming against the walls of the buildings behind them. Hal let the construct disperse, watching behind his emerald mask as the civilians fled for safety. "I got a good five dozen away from the blasting zones but that barely put a dent in everyone who's left, not to mention that damn dome. Any ideas?" Rising back up into the air, Hal formed a bright green mini-gun, rattling it off towards what was left of Brainiac's forces in Hal's area. Naturally there was a bit of resistance and some weren't willing to go down quite as easy as he would have thought. Even so, he'd mow them down until they were left to deal with the source of it all: Brainiac himself.

Man Of Steel Superman "Brainac, this is your last warning. Call off your attack and surrender." "Impossible." Braniac replied coldly, unphased by the Kryptonian's empty threat. It had been the same here as any other world. Threats and offers of surrender or submission. Brainian found such gestures amusing."Once Collection Protocols have been engaged , they cannot be halted." He stated, as though it was obvious.
From his monitor womb, Brainiac watched every facet of the city's destruction, directing his drones every action. Another wave of pods shot out violently from the Skull Ships sides, slamming into the ground and releasing another wave of drones.
"They will not make a difference." Brainiac stated, referring to the Kryptonian's allies who went about destroying his drones. He was familiar with each of them. He had faced each of them, not on this earth but on several others. Numerous iterations of himself through out the multi-verse. Other versions of himself, had even collected their cities. Of all of them, the Lantern proved the second most immediate threat. And hence forth, it was the lantern that needed to be taken care of next, while the Kryptonian was still numb with shock.
A panel slid along the length of his machine, and the head of ca nnon slid outwards. A beam of golden energy shot outwards from the cannon, towards the Green Lantern, intending to incinerate him

Hell reigned from above and it was only getting worse on their ends. More and more pods filled the streets maximizing the amount of drones that were piling on top of each other. Between the five of them, they could only do so much and Superman seemed to be preoccupied with Brainiac and their shouting match. In truth, the Caped Crusader had no idea what the speedster was planning, he was surprised the Kryptonian Leaguer had not starting throwing punches yet but if it was the right call, he saw no reason not to take it. He threw his hand up to his cowl, activating the communicator between The Justice League. "Superman." He began, making sure he took to his stern tone, though much more severe. "You know what Brainiac is capable of so unless you have planned you need to get clear!" Shortly after, the commotion and rupturing became louder as the metal clanking drew closer. More and more drones surrounded the two heroes leaving them pinned in. Batman scoffed at the idea of them believing they had him and The Flash surrounded. His fingers tapped away at his right forearm gauntlet, a series of codes punched in along the device. A roaring sound in the sky approached, hovering over the smoke clouds. Along the underside of the aircraft, a ballistics turret revealed itself, whirring into gear as it let out round after round down upon the drones, ripping them to shreds. It merely hovered in the air as it continued to mow down the opposing forces, programmed to only target the threats of it's maker.

The situation seemed to only double with panic. In his ear he could hear the cries of his people along with Batman coming in through the League comm. Superman knows he has no choice other than to stop Brainiac here and now. No one else had the strength to do it. "You know what Brainiac is capable of so unless you have something planned you need to get clear!" he hears the Dark Knight shout over the comm. Face to face with the ship still Superman's look of sorrow would turn into disdain as the cries volume raised with every passing second. "Don't worry Batman. I have something planned. Get those people to safety. Do not worry about me..." he trails off saying. Without another thought wasted Superman takes off, heading directly for Brainiac's ship. His arms are straight forward and his hands are tightly balled as he penetrates the ship's skull with his own body and raw strength.
Inside of the ship he hovers there in front of Brainiac. "You should've taken my offer while it was still on the table Brainiac."
