It is said that several notable Pokémon Trainers began their Pokémon journeys in Pallet Town, though this is likely due to the fact that they are advised by the world famous Professor Oak. Professor Oak's Laboratory is in Pallet Town, where the Pokémon Prof. conducts his research and helps fledgling trainers start their journey.
The small town is accessible in two ways: from the north via Route 1 that leads directly to Viridian City, and from the south via Route 21, a water route, that leads to Cinnabar Island.

Encounter: Tall Grass

Some battles can become's an SOS battle in which the initial encounter may summon a second Pokemon to support it after the first turn. Raining Makes the weather change to Rain For 5 Rounds. Halves the Dmg of Solarbeam. Synthesis, Morning Sun, Moonlight restore 50% max Hp. Increases the base Dmg of Water type moves by +40 and decreases the base Dmg of Fire type move Dmg by -30.
