The beat of gentle wings swept through the air. The wind was calm and but a breeze which made flying much easier. Gilroy, a newly woven balam, was exploring the smaller islands of the wind tribe. Although they were mostly floating rock many of the islands had lush greenery full of life upon them, but the dark Tah mainly stayed away from the ones that seemed too lively.
Since he had awaken the Tah had avoided all contact with his own kind. As he passed by others in the air his altitude would drop and his stomach would sink to the bottom of his body. Other balam made him nervous so he avoided them as much as possible.
As he moved through the air his movements were light and airy, almost like he was fluttering. Finally he came to a small island lush with greens and quite obviously deserted. Perfect, this was the perfect place for him to land and rest his tried wings. With no one in site and he could hide himself in the greens if another seemed to come by he deemed this the perfect hiding spot.
He landed his paws softly kissing the soft fuzzy moss below them. Finding a spot he settled down and pulled some of the leafy greens of the ferns around him. There now he could rest with ease without a worry of being seen by above and investigated by others.
At ease he began to hum, humming the notes he had heard the wind create. A song of the wind. His song had no words, just notes, but still they were soft and airy, almost as if he was making the wind sound like it had a soul.

The day had yet to fully start by time, Wind Waker slipped away from his family and made his way to the newly constructed school. It was something their lead magus had hope for and suggest be a place for other wind b'alam to learn the art of song and music. It had been another productive day, though much of the halls still remained empty, and without prospects.
One, could only hope that the collage would be filled with instructor and more importantly students...
Flying just south of the school, and Kumpania, Wind Waker had thought it a wonderful time to stretch out his wings for a nice flight. It had been a while since he was able to go off on his own and just sail the skies. Not that he minded his free time spent with the school and family....
Feather Step..
Oh Feather Step, his Yoliliztl. Even as they bounded and carved cubs together, she still easily found his way into his thoughts. As he glided about the clouds, his yellow wings stretched out and his paws remained tucked to his chest. Closing his eyes to the gentle breeze, he would watch in his mind's eyes how she would so often dance among the clouds. He couldn't help but wonder-even in his free time what she was up to and how she was doing.
As Wind Waker's thought's drifted to the precious moments of how they first had met, the Tahtlil's ear flicked as he thought he could hear his own memories manifesting themselves in to actual sound...
Though pleasant-It was faint, like it called to him...and wait...
Rhapsody's eyes opened, as his ears turned about. A heavy flap of his wings caused him to slow. With a second beat, he stopped in his forward progression and every soft beat of his wings kept the tah in a bobbed hover. His ears turned about, as his tail kept him balance.
That humming, that music...was not his or of his memory. It was soft, but very much real and nearby. Wind Waker's head turned around to see where it possibly could have came from. No one was around, that his teal eyes could see anyways. The only thing that was nearby was a small floating island, one that was covered in green...
It was strange and rare but not unheard of....
The humming had to be coming from there, was the rock it's self singing out?
What a silly and strange thought...
Giving a shrug to his thoughts, Rhapsody flap[ed his wings once more as his paws swung out to help give himself a bit of momentum. Twisting his body, he then he angled it downward to plummet towards the island. The decent didn't take long, before a set of light paws landed on the rock without so much of a sound. The bedding of moss, caused a soft and soundless landing. Sleek, and slightly ruffled wings raised and placed them comfortably on the Tahtlil's back.
"Sastipe!?" Rhapsody rich voice called out. Ears remained carefully perked, and shifted ever so slightly. "Is anyone around?" he called, hoping to have not scared off the melodious sound.
"My ears have heard quiet pleasant sound." The b'alam smile, his voice was faintly traced over with a meek wind accent, that came from the mainland-and no doubt gleaned from his Magus. [kubo count stops here]
