Regaining her focus on the sparring match at hand, she cracked the whip near Mathilda's elbow. There were a lot more targets on the body than on the edge of it which made it difficult not to just select the same spot over and over. "I'm not sure I even want to know what we might end up fighting next if it's anything like these birds." Marisol's Health: 29 - 8 = 21 HP

"Hopefully not a dinosaur though," she laughed, "that might be too big." The whip lashed down parallel to the left side of Mathilda's body, before hitting the powdery snow. It was hard to tell where the ballerina had been aiming exactly but it would've stung wherever it had hit. Marisol's Health: 21 - 4 = 17 HP

"I'll let them call you in the dinosaur and take my vacation that time, then," she laughed. She had a difficult time believing she'd want to keep any of the monsters they fought as pets but it was an interesting thought. With a smile, she aimed to the woman's left hip and watched as it cracked to the side. Marisol's Health: 17 - 2 = 15 HP

"Have you not seen Jurassic Park?" she teased; seeing dinosaurs hadn't exactly ended well for any of those people. She hit back, whip sailing less than a foot away from Mathilda's knee. In a real spar, she knew, she'd have been more agile and quick. But here, she was quite lackadaisical. And she was leaving herself far too open. Marisol's Health: 15 - 8 = 7 HP

Mathilda laughed, tossing her dagger near Marisols shoulder, a little too close, but missing her. "Okay, not all dinosaurs are like that. Maybe there will be cute tiny ones!" Jumping back, Mathilda slipped on the snow, landing on her backside. "How are you doing, by the way? It's getting colder now, and the snow is falling harder." "Uh-huh, tiny ones that see us as walking Happy Meals," she chuckled. The chill was beginning to creep through her clothing and-- "Are you okay?" Marisol walked forward offering a hand up. "I think you won that sparring match. I'm ready to raid the kitchen for some hot chocolate or find a cuddle buddy," she admitted.

"Yep. Luckily snow is soft." Accepting the hand and pulling herself up, Mathilda dusted herself off and nodded. "I'm probably going to head to the kitchen, see what I can make. You're more than welcome to join!" Smiling, she began to walk with the woman toward the hotel.

Marisol fell into step beside her once the other woman began to walk, "I just may do that. I should make sure to find a room to sleep in--assuming anyone can find time to sleep--with a couple of friends. I'm sure they haven't been able to look for one that isn't torn up or missing a mattress."
Once they reached the hotel, entering the building to get out of the snow, she waved as she broke away from Mathilda. She needed to look around and rest. And maybe she'd come down later for some food. Until then, she had a task to do.
