Clark Kent Superman Clark looked through the window out onto the city below as the Planet's golden globe reflected a great deal of radiant beams making him feel stronger. He stood near the edge of the window until he was called back to his desk by a knock on the wooden door of his small boxy office. "Come in." Clark said, before taking a sip of his freshly brewed coffee. Almost immediately following his approval in came his lovely partner, with her hourglass figure and long black hair, Lois Lane. "What's up Lois?" Clark asked, watching as she just barged in and slammed down the latest issue of the Daily Planet newspaper. The headline itself reading: "Superman puts Toyman behind bars". Finding nothing wrong with the title or story Clark looks back up to Lois with a puzzled expression. In frustration to his obliviousness the ace reporter throws her hands up and begin to explain her point.
"Don't give me those dough eyes Smallville. You said no superheroics last night and you lied! This article proves it. There's plenty other heroes who could've dealt with Toyman but nope you just had to go and save the day. Ugh!!" Clark's eyebrows turned upside upon seeing Lois upset. Sighing softly he rested his hands on her shoulders so she would focus on what he was about to say, "Listen Lois I understand where you're coming from. But this is what I'm destined to do. Who I'm destined to be. I've been Superman for years now and it's just hard to take a night or day off. I'll make it up to you. I promise." Clark said with a gentle and warm smile.
She gave a understanding nod, "Fine but if you go dying on me cause you want to be a hero out there Smallville then so help me you better not have anything left of your body. Cause I will see to it to bring you back to life and kill you again myself." Clark laughed. Only Lois wasn't and simply walked over to his desk. "Wait you're not serious right?" he asked. Lois ignored his comment and read aloud what was on Clark's monitor. It was about Lex's recent move to Gotham, something Clark would've talked to her about had she not invaded his privacy just now. "You know I can't let him out of my sight for too long Lo. It's why I'm going to Gotham for a couple weeks. Just until I can figure out what he's up to. I'm actuall--oh crap! What time is it? Oh man. I'm late. Listen we can talk about this later tonight but I have to go." Snatching his long brown trench coat off the hanger, Kent used his super speed to leave in blur fashion.
Up on the roof of the Daily now he ripped open his shirt revealing his 'S' insignia before taking to the skies as Superman. Sure he would have to hear a ear full from Lois later about his abrupt leave but least this way when they did talk, it wouldn't have to be face to face. Besides, what he should really be worried about is his interview with Gotham's most wealthiest billionaire; Bruce Wayne whom he needed to prepare for. But would probably not have the chance. Which was unfortunate because this was something he couldn't blow. It was practically the only reason Perry was letting him go to Gotham for such an extended period of time. Otherwise he would be stuck covering sports - which he was not a fan of. His crimson cape flapped audibly through the wind streams and soon enough he would arrive in Gotham, landing in a nearby alley a couple blocks from Wayne Enterprises. He made sure no one had seen him and when he was sure, changed back into his reporter clothes.
After, Clark started running down the sidewalk to Wayne Enterprises building with purpose and his bag in tow. He needed to appear normal and this was normalish...He arrived inside minutes later and immediately greeted the receptionist at front. He pushed his glasses up onto his face adjusting them and when done would begin clearing his throat. "Hi. Kent Clark. I mean...Clark Kent. I'm here to tal---meet with Bruce Wayne. W-we have a meeting." he said, stammering over his words.

Phones ringing, people chit chatting and complaining, tons of paperwork, if was no wonder the precious front desk person had left; however, it was not a problem for Xana Price. Though it was easy, it was also tedious and put the young woman in a not so friendly mood. Xana was known for being serious and anti-social among her coworkers, and she could care less. The woman was busying herself with some paper work when she heard a nervous voice in front of her. Curious, she looked up from her desk and found herself looking into the eyes of a young man that seemed out of breath. She arched an eyebrow at him before searching her computer.
“Do you now? I don't see an appointment for a Mr. Kent. Are you sure you're in the right place?."
There was a strong accent to the woman, an accent that was foreign to the human mind. One could guess for eternity and they would not be able to guess her ethnicity. The receptionist's eyes were a bright green, practically an ocean with a cold tint. Meanwhile she waited for the male to leave, she resumed her paperwork; dismissing Kent as if he was a curious child and waited for him to leave.

Clark Kent Superman “Do you now? I don't see an appointment for a Mr. Kent. Are you sure you're in the right place?."
Clark looked dumbfounded for a second or two. That couldn't be right. He picked up his bag balancing it on his knee while weaving through the numerous papers inside looking for his proof. But thanks to his terrible timing and super strength, he'd unknowingly tear the strap lain on his shoulder causing all of his papers to come tumbling sprawled out across the floor. "No, no, no. Not now." Kent said to himself, bending down to gather his papers. When finished he stood back up to see the receptionist had been paying him no mind whatsoever. "Uh hey. Yeah sorry but there's been a misunderstanding. See I spoke with Mr. Wayne himself awhile back when he visited Metropolis. He said if I was ever in Gotham to give him a call. So, last week I did just that and he said to come in today at this time exactly. Now I may be a little late but I can't be that late, right?" Clark asked.
While waiting for her response he began looking around to see if there was anything of hers he could try and relate to so she'd give him a break. He lowered his glasses some down his nose when she wasn't looking and used his micro-vision to get a closer view onto her work space. There he could see on her person were some strands of cat hair. Not noticeable to the normal human eye but noticeable to him.
"Cats are pretty fiesty huh? I actually have one of my own back in Metropolis." Clark gestured to the picture frame on her desk then smiling. "Listen I don't mean to put you in a tight spot but I really need to see Mr. Wayne today or my editor is going to kill me. So what do you say you give a fellow cat lover a break, just this once?"

Xana was lost in her work when Clark decided to break the silence once more, and that he did. Clutters of paper work hit the floor and decorated the floor. SMOOTH. Xana rolled her eyes at the sight, PITIFUL. She couldn't help but feel bad for the guy, so unorganized yet persistent. Winning her over with his piteous display, the woman finally stood. It was hard to see that she was not wearing any heels behind that desk. She was very tall and put together, stemming from her Amazonian routes.
“Let's get to the point. Everyone sees Mr. Wayne and he always tell them to stop by. You're not the first nor the last person to speak those same words. Knowing Mr. Wayne, he forgot to mention to make an appointment. The best I can do for you is by getting your information and having him call back. "
This time she seemed more serious than before; the way her hands rested on her desk gave away a not so kind message. Another reason why she was hired. Despite her beauty, she could scare away all the reporters and stalkers with a mere glance. She was the embodiment of power, a goddess, a huntress.

Everyone who knew of Bruce Wayne's double life asked him many, many questions after the revelation was revealed. Mostly a bunch of questions starting with why, trying to wrap their heads around the fact that this arrogant billionaire goes out of his way to dress up as a bat, drive a tank, and fight costumed criminals within Gotham. The more obvious an expected question was the how did he do it? While he wasn't alone in keeping Wayne Enterprises functioning at all times, when he wasn't out being a vigilante crusader, he was here, sitting in his large leather chair behind a desk either on the phone with other well dressed, monotonous buisnessmen and women. In today's case, those well dressed business associates were here right in front of him badgering him to agree to this deal here or that deal there. This is why he preferred to be in the cave, some alone time would be more than welcomed as of right now.
He pinched the bridge of his nose, for a moment, toning out the annoyance that erupted from their throats. Bruce just couldn't be bothered by this at the moment and despite his best efforts to get them to leave, they were insistent on getting an answer out of the CEO. Finally, Bruce stood up from the chair and walked towards the wide window as he looked out onto Gotham's cityscape. His arms folded behind his back, he remained quiet and so did his company within the room. "Well we can't leave this matter unattended for long. I'll think on what you've all said and we shall address the issue." Bruce shifted his body to turn and look at the lot of them with a set expression of confirmation. "Understood." The tone in his voice could easily be registered as Bruce wanting them all to leave and while some were hesitant, they soon began to shuffle out of the room and out of his sight.
Bruce led them all to the door's exit, watching as the filed out and towards the elevator, only to spot his prime secretary Xana Price grilling a mild mannered reporter at the desk. His head tilted in confusion at the rather familiar face, soon fading to a slight smirk as he noticed the subtle changes in posture and movements. Perhaps it was best he step in before she got a little too overzealous. "It's okay, Ms. Price. Everything's alright, he is in fact telling the truth. Welcome, Mr. Kent." He said finally, offering his hand to the man.

Clark Kent Superman Clark let out a heavy sigh about to admit defeat when fate decided to intervene. Or in this case Bruce Wayne. "It's okay, Ms. Price. Everything's alright, he is in fact telling the truth. Welcome, Mr. Kent." the billionaire stated. And boy was Clark elated. Here he was starting to think this trip would be for nothing, well the first part anyway. He collected himself in front of the billionaire then stood upright with a smile also extending his hand to meet Mr. Wayne's shaking it firmly but not too firm. "Thank you for meeting with me on such short notice sir. Really thank you. I promise not to take too much of your time as I am aware you are a very busy man." Clark goes onto say in a somewhat nervous tone.

Xana rolled her eyes and decided to take her lunch break. Not enjoying being put in the center or humiliation. Gathering her purse, she walked out of the building without a word to the boss or his "acquaintance." The testosterone in the room was far too overbearing for the amazonian princess and sometimes she just needed to escape. Xana made it to her black camaro and upon putting it in drive, she raced off the property to see what kind of mischief she could get into.
