J was delighted that Alice was so keen. It was always fun to mess with people, and though his usual crimes had been more... serious... as of late he was sure he would love this. It was like a trip back in time to the days of acid spraying flowers; he wasn't wearing one now. Alice and the Joker had left the club quickly not bothering to cover their appearance as they strolled towards his car and got inside, driving carelessly around the almost empty streets. Old Gotham wasn't too far away from the club and so they drove along the river path where the Police were less likely to be looking for him. The car blasted music excruciatingly loud out of the window as they cruised along.
"I don't know where you've been all my life Alice," He mused loudly over the sound of the music with a shrill laugh as he parked the car simply in a pay and display car park. He was bemused by her. Initially he had thought her a threat but he sincerely hoped they could form an alliance. If not only for her powers, though he wouldn't let her know this. The villain grabbed a spare jacket from the back seat before opened the doors with a push of a button and slid out."It's best if we watch from the sidelines, there's a place down by the river we can hide but still watch all of the fun," J explained. With the girl and himself in the news that very evening, the people of Gotham would be on high alert though there was still a surprisingly large amount of people still milling around the stalls. It was then that he handed her the jacket. It was hooded and shapeless but would cover her dress well enough for them to walk through one of the smaller sections. Instead of a hood, he put on a woolly hat and a pair of glasses. The Joker was cautious as ever especially after so many heroes were flocking to the city and it was amazing how few changes meant that people would not immediately recognise you. It would surprise most how often he went out into public like this. Food was a must, and people wouldn't serve him if he dressed normally.
The Joker began walking, assuming that she would merely follow. He slowly mingled his way through the people, his outfit boring enough now to not attract too much attention. "Is this audience large enough for your plans?" J asked her with a smirk. He even paused at a stall to 'browse' for it would look even stranger if they simply hurried across like fugitives. After deciding that he didn't want to buy knock off Ugg-boots and scented candles he wove through the stalls until he found an empty stall. It was then that he thought of a better idea than he had had before. He quickly moved into the empty tent like structure and turned to face Alice. "Think you can work your magic here? Just make the scare bears normal first, and we can build up to the grand climax!" He announced in a hushed tone. The task at hand was childish, but he was intrigued to see what she could do with her powers. He put his hands into his pockets and watched her through his sunglasses.

As the Joker drove the car Alice touched up her creepy makeup. She always made sure to carry extra white face cream with her because she knew how easily the stuff rubbed off. The good thing about have makeup the was purposely messy was that there was no way to mess it up, so even when the Joker hit speed bumps or made sharp turns it didn't bother Alice at all. When she had finished she slipped the tube back into one of her pockets and hummed along to some music that was being played during the ride. Hearing the Joker start to speak to her Alice turned her head and smiled in reply. "Well for at least half of your life I wasn't even born yet." She said very matter of factly. "But don't worry, I'm sure we can cause enough chaos to make ups to lost time." She said cheerfully just as the car came to a halt.
"My, my what a pretty view! If only the water wasn't such a boring color though... Seeing a blood red lake would be much better!" She claimed once out of the car. Moments after she saw the Joker come to her side and hand her a jacket. "Aw, no one will see my pretty dress." She complained as she took the coat from his hands. "But I guess if this is the only way..." She said as she slipped on the coat, the hat, and the glasses. The glass were pretty big for her small face but this only seemed to amuse her and make her giggle. "I'll keep these!" She said while tapping on the glasses.
Turing around she saw that the Joker was already walking ahead of her, so quickly she jogged to catch up. Once at his side she walked at a normal pace while looking around at the crowd. "Seems like a good group of people that could use some excitement!" She responded to the Joker's question. She found herself getting distracted as they walked though by various joys and some jewelry. She would wonder over to stands now and then, which seemed to annoy the Joker, but she noticed him doing it to.
Before she could notice the Joker slipped away into an empty stand, and by the time Alice looked back at him he was already in the stand calling her over with a new plan. Originally they were just going to kill some vender and replace their goods with the bear, but now it seemed that the Joker had something better in mind. Walking up to the stand Alice jokingly said "Wow mister, it looks like you are an expert salmon! There's not a single product left in sight!" She was obviously playing make believe now and imagined the Joker as being a vender. "Looks like you need some more goods, goods which I can provide. And out of the kindness of my heart I'll give you them for free!" She said as she closed her eyes and waved her hands. moments later rays of teddy bears with closed eyes appeared stacked on the table in front of them."Think you can sell all of these mister?" She asked in a playful tone.

Alice caught on quickly, which to the Joker only emphasised how truly intelligent she was. A child would have asked questions; much like how his beloved Harley would have reacted. He laughed quietly as he watched her mingle before finally they both ended up stood on either side of a stall. He grinned at her, without laughing. His laugh was too recognisable. "Why hello there little girl, how may I help you today?" He said to her before she stared speaking. He was using an obviously fake southern accent to mask his distinguishable tone. "Well it would seem as if I am sold out!" He announced as she continued. It was then that the girl conjured up at least one hundred bears which were stacked in piles around him. "I'm not sure if I can little girl but I'll sure give it a go!" He said loudly. Their little show was attracting attention from predominantly children and their parents whom had just seen all of the bears appear out of nowhere. At their applause, the Joker bowed and gestured to Alice also, playing it off as a simply magic stunt. "Roll up Roll up! Get your scare bears! Free for any of my beloved residents of Gotham in light of the horrific terror events down in Diamond this evening. Spreading cheer to everyone!" He said in his best impression of a vendor's voice. Loud, booming and nothing like his usually tone of voice. "They can talk, they can walk a gift from me to you to put a smile on those faces!" He chanted with a grin as many boys, girls, teens, parents and grandmothers hurried forward in a flock to grab one of the bears - because who could resist right? "Just a warning, don't feed them after midnight, they might bite," He said with mock fright to a few boys crowding one corner of the stall. With that the Joker sat down on the folding chair which had been left in the stall and sat back. He winked at Alice, waiting for her to work her magic.

Alice was glad that the Joker decided to humor her little game and play along. It was quite fun to have another playmate, one that she did not have to go through the trouble of creating herself. With crowds of people coming to see the cute bears Alice quickly stepped off to the side of the stand to make room. She still remained close though in order to watch the kinds of people that got bears. She noticed with spoiled little girls who kept crying at their father's legs "I want it! I want it!" until he gave in. A few parents that bought it on there own free will probably as a reward or gift for their child. More and more various types of families came which made Alice feel even more empty the usual. Seeing their blood stain the river front would definitely fill that hole though.
The Joker, sticking true to his salesman persona, managed to sell off each and every one. Alice noted how much money he was able to make from the people of Gotham, but new that he wouldn't bother to take the cash with him. If early taught her anything it was that the Joker only cared about causing pain. She could respect that.
Once everyone had there bears and had walked off to visit other parts of the market Alice noticed the Joker shoot her a look. At first she looked back at him confused but quickly she caught on. "Time for the surprise!" She said with an excited squeal as she closed her eyes. Her eyes shut tight, creating some wrinkles on her small face, as blood slowly started to drip out of both her nostrils. "Lets play." She whispered, but somewhere each and every dolls of her heard her. Just like with the first bear they all opened their eyes which looked demonic along with their jaws that had pointed teeth. They immediately jumped out of the arms of their children and starting biting the legs, arms, and throats of their parents. In minutes the market was filled with screams and cries as the parents ran around like chickens without heads trying to get the bears off and the children cried. "How rude! I so generously have given them a gift and all they are doing is crying about it!" Alice said upon opening her eyes. "Be free little children! Be free!" She cried out between her fits of giggles. She jumped up on the now empty stand that the Joker was at and spun around in circles, giggles at the chaos she had created. She quickly became dizzy though due to her loss of blood and slipped off the table, luckily landing only on her butt. "Owie... Guess I pushed it to much today. Oh, and just so you know sir Joker since I created so many of these little guys their life spans won't be that long. I'm going to guess that they all have about three hours. But that should be enough to kill a good amount of people right?" She asked, clearly looking for approval from him.

Senseless violence was something that The Joker could relate to. It was almost sickening having made all of these children so happy however it was comforting to know they would soon be dead or seriously injured. He was sincerely enjoying playing games with the girl, and he would until she became a nuisance or failed to live up to his expectations. Harley would be pissed that he made a friend without her, which only made him want to do it all the more. "Very rude, I'm almost offended" He commented removing his hood and hat. He laughed as she spun around. "Don't get yourself killed," He warned her as she fell off of the table. She had worked herself half to death that day though he didn't care enough to ask if she was okay- only ensuring that she wouldn't die so he could make use of her in the future.
"I do hope our friends show up. It would be a shame to have the party without them!" He sniggered, walking dramatically out into the centre, feeling the power enthralling through his bones. Something told him he would enjoy Alice's company very much, time and time again. This time, he was lucky that the bears avoided him. "I'd love to take credit for this one ladies and gentlemen but I must introduce you all to my... friend." He cried in his most sickening voice. "Everybody smile for Alice!" He made a large gesture pointing in the direction of the girl. The Joker was a performer and liked to add a little flair into his murders. He was glad that this time the people didn't run, they were too busy being mauled by bears. It was much better to have a full audience. He smirked as he watched their flesh being torn. Enjoying very much watching them all in pain.
The Joker, being the twisted thoughtful and caring individual that he was wanted to ensure that his customers were enjoying what he had given them. He slowly paced around until he came to a stop next to a man laying on the ground heavily wounded. The bears had moved on from him, but he was still alive, awake and breathing. J crouched down and stroked his hands through the father's hair. "What's wrong my friend? You didn't smile for Alice?" He said sadly before continuing. "I heard that you were one of the.. recipients of my new toy were you not pleased?" He whispered. "As a scientist, I'd like to conduct a little survey, just to see if they're... doing their job correctly," He smiled at the man, whom in a fit of rage managed to spit right into his face. The Joker sighed heavily, using the man's jacket to wipe the saliva from his face before taking a few moments to glance around. "Ahh I see, it was a gift from you to your precious little daughter!" He turned to look at her and smiled looking between the two. "Though she doesn't seem too pleased either, I might have to silence you both- we can't have a bad reputation after all, and I'm sure my colleague would agree with me" He smiled brightly like a madman. The next actions of the joker were unspeakable.

OOC: Hey, the only reason I didn't reply was because I wanted to give Batman time to show up and now that he has we are good to continue. I just didn't want to go too far without the heroes.

Alice couldn't help but to laugh as she stood back up. "If I died falling that would be sad. If I'm going out it's going to be in the middle of a great game! A grand game!" She exclaimed as she flung her arms up in the air.
The next thing she knew, The Joker was actually giving her some credit for this scheme. That alone made her blush a little, feeling extremely flattered to be admired for all her work. Truth be told, while Alice saw her crimes as games she also viewed them as effort and really wanted someone to like her for what she called her art. So finally, after waiting for so long, there was someone who respected what she did. "Thank you, thank you! You are all to kind!" She shouted as she gave multiple bows and even curtsied at the end.
While the Joker was busy talking to one injured man Alice forces on the majority instead. She temporarily blocked him out as she skipped around between people dying. She hummed a tune while jumping around them like it was a game of hopscotch. "One legged!" She shouted as she jumped over the body of a woman only using her left leg. "Made it! Points for me!" She cheered between fits of giggles. What caught her attention though, and made her focus back on the Joker was when he mentioned some girl being displeased. Immediately Alice turned her head to see the young girl crying over her daddy. While the Joker seemed more than ok with killing her, that was not what Alice wanted. Despite being a bit angry with his thought to kill the child Alice kept her mouth shut. She figured that the Joker just liked games that were more intense than her, and that was his right, but in her presence she would prefer no children to die.
So Alice skipped over to the crying girl and leaned over her with a fake putting face. "Why so sad? You don't look very pretty when crying. Don't you want to look pretty? I know! We can play dress up! That will make you pretty!" Alice said as she noticed a stand that had old thrift store type clothing it was selling before the bears starting causing chaos. She ran over to it and grabbed a bright pink boa, a flowy yellow dress, and some sparkly heels. She then ran back to the crying girl and started forcing her into the clothes despite her screaming to be let go. "Oh come on. Dress up is fun." Alice said with a smile before letting the young girl go to see her wearing the clothes she had picked out over the clothes she already had on. "Bright colors look so pretty on you! You're like a princess!" Alice really was trying to cheer up the girl, in her own weird way. She wanted kids to like her since she loved being a child, but none of them ever seemed to. The girl just kept crying for Alice to help her daddy and not to let him die. This bothered her. "Oh shut up already! Who cares about your daddy!? He's just an adult! Hasn't he ever put you in time out or hit you when you were bad? Why would you want to save him!?" All the little girl did after Alice yelled at her was cry more. She didn't know what to say, she was just scared.
Before she could say anything else to the girl Alice heard a skidding sound and looked up to see the Batmobile in the near distance halt to a sudden stop. "Mr. Joker! The guests of honor are here!" Alice shouted as she hurried back over to the Joker's side. "Do you think they'll like our party? We worked so hard on it." She said, actually seeming concerned that this chaoses wasn't grand enough for the Bat and his little sidekick.

J laughed wildly. “That would be tragic,” He mocked, frowning as though he were sad though the sarcasm was evident. Even though Alice was amusing, he probably wouldn’t bat an eyelid if she died. He might break her out of prison for something to do but cry? Never. Of course not. Not a chance. Never. “I like the idea of a grand game. Sounds… intriguing,” He mumbled, almost to himself. This girl could do incredible things, and he wanted to see how far he could stretch those abilities. The Joker watched as she took in the praise and he applauded her as she curtsied. “Bravo! Bravo!” He cried loudly, so that anyone still conscious could hear.
After having his fun with the injured family, the Joker moved forward like a ghost- watching any bodies for signs of life. There were a few still alive, twelve at most in the general vicinity around fifty dead. Most of the dead were not yet adults, which was rather poetic in J’s mind. He smiled to himself proud with what he had achieved. The Villain turned to see what Alice was doing, and it seemed as though she had preoccupied herself with the girl. The girl whose father had just died. Alice was amazing, he couldn’t think otherwise. She was essentially a mini him but with childlike ideals and extraordinary abilities and it was not enough to say that the Joker was jealous. He envied her power, but then again he knew that his lack of power made him more than dangerous. Nobody understood his motives which he was content with. J was happy with the mystery that surrounded his character. You can’t have a villain with a crap plot it just didn’t work. If everyone knew who he was and why he did what he did, he wouldn’t be as interesting and thus he would lose the fear factor which is what gave him the power he already had. He was a performer at heart, being noticed for his art was his muse and he would never give up his advantage.
J heard the loud screeching of tires coming from behind him and turned quickly a hopeful smirk set on his face. And amazingly, the Bat had finally made an appearance. His smirk widened into a full on smirk. If he ended up in Arkham after this fight he wasn’t going to be too bothered- in fact he might meet a hot psychiatrist who wants to take him home! Wouldn’t that be… oh wait he did that already. No matter. Tonight, was worth the risk. Alice, was worth the risk. Heck, her gifts were worth his weight in Gold. “Oh they are are they! They are! They're here!” He exclaimed loudly throwing his arms up into the air and throwing his head back in triumph. “I’m sure they’ll love it! Well they’ll have to since it was all for them! I mean who doesn’t love a surprise party am I right!” He continued, a laugh filling the air. “Though, perhaps we should have blown some balloons? Ordered some food? No matter no matter, he eats enough anyway, getting a little round around the middle I reckon.” He chuckled before turning in the direction of the car that had pulled up a little way away, near blinding the pair with its headlights.
The Joker walked forwards a little so he could see the tall man in front of him and then continued to pace around whilst also being very careful of his movements. “My my old friend, I was right? Don’t tell me you stole my donuts? I’d be very offended if you had, though my mother always told me, sharing is caring…” He paused for a brief second pulling a pistol from his inside pocket. “Right before she hit me with her shoe,” He shrugged firing a shot into the sky. He didn’t want to shoot the bat. Why ever would he do that? The Joker continued with his little performance. “I hope you like the party! The decorations were killer to obtain, but I had someone on the inside who could help-“ He began speaking in a stage whisper, as though he didn’t want Alice to hear- despite him blatantly pointing at her with the barrel of the gun, “though she was pricey so you better appreciate it,” He warned, his smile still spread across his cheeks.

Red Hood was beating up some homeless guy in the park because he claimed to have witness the whole situation with the giant mutant dog, but refused to talk. He had the poor man shoved against a tree and was just taking swings at his face one after the other. When he fell to the ground, half unconscious, Red Hood shook his head. "Oh no, you're not blacking out on me yet old man." He said as he grabbed the guy and held him up once more. "Look, I don't enjoy beating up on the homeless ok? But my patience is running out. Tell me which direction the clown went with the girl and I'll leave you alone to starve on the streets. Now answer me!" But right after yelling at the man Red Hood's communication device in his ear went off, and a message from Batman start playing.
"Batman to Red Hood. Change of plans, The Joker and Alice have been sighted at the Riverfront Market. Proceed with caution, we don't know the full extent of Alice's abilities yet."
Hearing the news red Hood scuffed and made his way to his bike. He looked back at the man and said, "Looks like I'm getting some answers after all. But hey, next time I ask you a f*cking question, I won't be so nice about it." He warned before spending off to the market. While Red Hood's driving skills, and his willingness to ignore speed limits, he was able to make it to the market in record time.
He pulled up right next to the Batmobile and quickly jumped off his bike once the breaks were all set. "What a nice surprise. It's like someone cracked open a freakimn' piñata but instead of candy bodies came falling out." Even though the dead bodies were a upsetting sight Jason drove through them without a care. If they were already dead there was nothing he can do, and he wasn't going to waste time trying to avoid them instead of getting to the scene faster. "I see you have already found the clown and his replacement Harley." Red Hood said just as he saw the Joker pull a gun out on the girl. "Fool me once Joker right?" He said as he pulled out his own gun and aimed it right at the Joker's head. "You were bluffing last time, so I'll call your bluff this time. And hey, if you do actually kill the girl, that's one less psycho that I have to put up with. So go ahead. Let's see who can pull the trigger faster."
Son of the Bat, the current (better than Drake) Robin
"Batman to Red Hood. Change of plans, The Joker and Alice have been sighted at the Riverfront Market. Proceed with caution, we don't know the full extent of Alice's abilities yet."
"I, for one will not see it as a loss if Todd runs off and gets himself killed, again." the young Robin snidely remarked after his Father's warning to the bumbling idiot. In a matter of moments removed from his comment, their vehicle came to a fashionable halt and Robin leaped out to the ground. The market absolutely reeked of death. It made Damian frown behind his green domino. He glanced towards Batman to gauge his reaction to all of this and could see he was neither pleased.
"Oh they are are they! They are! They're here!"
How easy it would be for Damian to cut his head off then and there. Of all the villains they'd face, Robin absolutely hated the Joker. In fact if there was one person for Father's rule to be broken for then he would nominate him. A look of disgust showed on Damian's face as the clown continued to taunt them.
As the clown circled around inspecting the pair as if like they were his new toys for Christmas, Robin kept a straight face. It wasn't until he pulled the pistol out that the young Robin became really peeved though. He wanted to grab it immediately when it was taken out and shove it down the unfunny clown's throat and lodge his Katana into his rectum. Robin was upset. There are a variety of ways for a person to eradicate this pitiful emotion. Some people cry. Others select some extraneous form of exercise, or eat excessively. Mother was particularly fond of hunting when she was upset. Well, that, or she would simply devise another scenario for Damian to somehow survive. These occasions led Damian to quickly realize that during her periods of distress, Mother was very creative.
Damian, however, has never been very good at being upset.
Those situations usually ended…unpleasantly. And if Joker continued his games then he would soon learn what it meant to see Robin upset. As for Todd's comments well Damian didn't care too much about him to form an opinion. In his eyes, he truly was the most useless one here.
