You can start a monster thread at any time. Simply put [MONSTER] in the title of your thread, and choose one of the options below. You take damage each time you attack the monster. You do not take damage while defending. You can flee at any time, but doing so costs you 10HP.
Between battles, your HP recovers completely. You can fight the same monster multiple times, but can only be in one monster thread of each kind at a time.
If you die, you die, so make sure you flee the fight before your chacater hits -10HP or else that is the end of your character at this point in time. But there may be opportunities for them to come back later...

LONE BIRD:
