Honoka was sad. Criani, her khehora friend and mentor was gone. She was on a journey to find out how to rebuild her clan, one that apparently took her around Magesc and to the other continents. This upset Honoka as she herself wasn't ready to leave her homeland. Perhaps later, when she was older, and her baby brothers didn't need her as much, but not now. She had Serenia to explore.

Suddenly the sadness lifted a bit, long enough for her to go out and explore. Perhaps she would explore to the north and near Lake Tyluafel. She was out on her own now, and didn't really need to tell people she was leaving, but she would leave a note for her mother at the house just to let her know.

Doing just that, she took off with her small satchel full of things she would need, and took off for the road that led north to the village that housed the hot springs. While she knew she probably wouldn't be welcome there, she could perhaps sneak a peek at the village at night, and the lake was so large she could go someplace secluded to play in the water if she wished.

Landing with a small crash into some bushes, Honoka stood and shook herself off near the road to the hot springs. She looked up and down the road, and while not too many people were on it, she kept to the forest just so they wouldn't notice her and become scared.

Honoka sighed a bit in resignment. Would there come a day a two-legger wouldn't be afraid of her the moment they saw her?
