Strengths:
Agile: Silas can go from one motion to another effortlessly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little effort.
Master Marksman: Silas can achieve complete and utter accuracy on distant targets, with the activity in his brain center for aim, accuracy and precision is drastically improved. He need only to aim for an instant before he can precisely hit a target with a projectile. He can judge extremely long distances amazingly accurately, gauging the strength needed to launch a projectile, in order to hit a target accurately. If a target is moving Silas can calculate the best method to hit the target. Visual obstructions like smoke and vegetation do not hinder his ability to get an accurate bead on his target, and his intense focus on whatever he's shooting at allows him to shut out outside distractions. He can compensate for environmental factors that would normally throw off his aim like wind, air resistance, gravity, and radiant heat (which distorts the image of the target).
Weaknesses:
Arms and Eyes: Silas' eyes and arms are required for him to use his bow and arrow, without them he cannot draw his bow or aim, obviously.
Low Armor: Due to Silas' class and needing to be agile, he refuses to wear any sort of heavy armor on his person, this means

Survivalist: Due to being a wanderer, Silas has intuitive understanding in survival, allowing him to actively survive in a wilderness environment. Survivalists often acquire emergency medical and self-defense training, stockpile food and water, prepare to become self-sufficient, and build structures that may help him survive a catastrophe. However impairing his vision enough will make his aim somewhat off and he cannot stop his arrows from being deflected.

- Background Information -
Personality:
To other people, Silas is commonly seen as a mysterious stranger that tends to keep to himself, speaking only when necessary and straight to the point, often depicting him as a straight shooter in conversations that says it how it is. But to the people who have taken the time to get to know him, they tend to describe him a different way. When interacting with other wizards, the way he acts and talks changes, Silas is seen to possesses a calm, analytical, and confident attitude most of the time, even in battle, finding himself to be quite proud of the level of power he's amassed over the course of his life, and trusts in his abilities to get him out of any dangerous situation alive. This confidence tends to go overboard sometimes, becoming overconfident in the heat of battle as he believes without a doubt that he is without equal, a one-of-a-kind fighter and wizard of unparalleled skill, with his genuine abilities to fight at the level he can demonstrate, he has more than earned the right to feel superior to most other mages. When off on his own, adventuring or traveling the country by foot, he acts so free-spiritedly, independent and not constrained by any sense of convention, never allowing himself to be tied down to a single place or person, preferring to be his own man rather than someone else's property. He will always choose free will over control, always siding with the choice that offers him the most sense of control and freedom to do whatever he wants without any sense of restrictions or limits placed on him.
An extremely hard man to impress, due to having spent many years of his life fighting in conflicts of all types, he's seen many forms of spells and attacks, meaning that it's nearly impossible to catch him off guard or surprise him when cast on him. With very little things able to arise his interest, this usually means that he has extremely high standards for his enemies to meet in order for him to be impresses.
He can sometimes get carried away in intense fights, destroying the entire area around him and causing unbelievable collateral damage as a result. Anyone who knows Silas will tell others to steer clear when he fights serious, a clear sign that everything around them is about to be destroyed. Despite knowing this, Silas shows no worries or demonstrates any restraint when he fights, not caring if others are dragged in or die in the collision, believing it is their fault for not being strong enough to resist or save themselves. He takes whatever challenge or fight he participates in seriously, as such, he never underestimated his opponent regardless of their gender or age. However, he does show a moderate level of control when facing children, choosing to use less violent methods to end the battle as quickly as possible rather than let it drag on and let them suffer as he gets worked up. When all is said and done, all that is important for him is power and how he can gain more of it, what few realize is that Silas is always pursuing a greater form of power regardless of how or when he can get it, a desire that borders on obsession. His desire to win and be the best he an be is what fuels this dreams and ambitions, regardless of whether he wins or loses, he'll always burst out laughing and ready, but is mostly all smiles. A belief, that winner of battles possesses true justice and no one would listen to the beliefs of a loser. Silas is the kind of person who lives and loves the thrill of battle, finding it exiting when both he and his opponent wager their lives in a battle to the death, finding no greater sport in the world that could match the intensity and sense of fulfillment these moments bring. Most of the time, he has high hopes that his opponent is able to make him work up a sweat, going to whatever lengths possible in order to make his opponent use their full potential with the hopes of comparing it to his own power and seeing where he stands. A man who succeeds in whatever he does, failure is a word he does not know. He's a true warrior through and through, living his life by his own code and sense of honor and manliness. He is the kind of man that will see anything to the end once he sets his mind on it, no matter how good or evil that might be he will see it through as going back on his own goals or ambitions is unmanly to him. Silas also has the habit of challenging Mages to a Quick Draw Duels, whether they have a gun or not.
Background/Biography:
Leona "Bullet Witch" William Grimes, a notorious outlaw that ran wild all across Fiore. She did everything without a care of who she may hurt as to her, her freedom was above everyone else's and she would in no way allow anyone to take that from her, not even her own parents. Eventually the woman known as Leona had come across a man, a man who had mirror ideals to Leona. This man, this outlaw who had killed over a hundred mages was Thatch "Dynamite King" Mercer who wished for Fiore to become a country without law. Doing so would give both him and Leona the infinite and unstoppable freedom they wished for where they could ride, fight, shoot, and party all they wanted. With their common interests on a lawless kingdom, the two had become partners, wrecking havoc everywhere they went and soon were known as the Twin Outlaw Bullets. It was not long however before two gunners had a son named Silas, one who showed a natural talent for gunslinging at the age of 2. Knowing this, the unmarried couple had decided to mature this talent of his, teaching him how to properly fire most guns, how to use gun magic, and how to defend himself with his gun should someone try to get too close. While their joy had just began to rise with the pride they had for their son, their reign of terror would soon end. Two Gunner mages from Fairy Tail were given the mission to put a stop to them once and for all as their ambitions could harm their daughter. It was at the town of Denish that the four gunslingers had gotten into a gun fight that would see Alzack and Bisca as the winner while Thatch had lost his right hand. Learning that the two had a daughter, Thatch and Leona had become even more determined to make Silas into Earthland's greatest gunslinger so that they could get revenge on the Gun Mages that took away Thatch's hand by taking away their daughter, Asuka.
Since the loss of his hand, the Twin Outlaw Bullets had been less active in their law breaking, deciding to play it safe while Thatch got used to his prosthetic hand, but Silas in no way got it easy. His parents had only gotten crueler in their training, making him spar with them with live ammunition rather than rubber ones. The abuse from the parents that once upheld Silas with the highest of pride no longer cared if he was hurt by their own hands, all they sought was revenge against the people that took away Thatch's hand. Fortunately Silas had enough of them and had ran away from home at the age of 15, believing to have enough skills to survive on his own while making sure to polish his skills on the way to show that he didn't need to rely on them. Now ten years later the Twin Outlaw Bullets became a thing of the past while a new star, one with skill booming like dynamite had been born, him being named Silas Mercer.

Guns Magic
Star Bullet: A simple offensive spell where Silas fires a small, but very fast, shot of white magical energy from his gun every time he pulls back the trigger. These blasts are powerful enough to knock back an opponent without dealing lethal damage as they primarily have concussive force added to them. Because of its rather simple casting, Silas is able to fire a multitude of blasts rather quickly by continuously squeezing the trigger. He typically casts this spell as cover fire or to knock projectiles in mid air, cancelling them in the process or redirecting them. By rushing at an opponent, he can continuously fire rounds towards a target, leap into the air and attack from above, or circle around to shoot from behind. Also by firing at a target hidden behind an object, he can effectively pin them at that location and give his allies a chance to gain ground to attack as a group.
Dual Comet Bullet: Holding out his Long Horns, Silas fires a shot of pale blue energy from each barrel of his custom designed revolvers, sending two blasts simultaneously towards his target. While these blasts can travel in a straight line, it also has the ability to bend and maneuver around obstacles to strike down his opponents, resulting in a medium sized explosion. The extra effect of changing its direction catches his opponents off guard, allowing him the opportunity for an additional attack immediately after. Each shot isn't committed to following the other. Instead, Silas can direct each shot to follow its own path, allowing him to strike from different angles by converging at a single point.
Sunlight Shot: Silas fires a bullet into the sky which releases a very bright, white light which temporarily blinds everyone in the surrounding area. This can also take the form of a large beam of light erupting from his gun.
Flame Shot: Silas produces a large beam of fire out of his gun. Hence the name, this beam is similar to that of a flamethrower. the flames burn at precisely 3,850°C, capable of melting iron and steel. If this shot was sent full-throttle at an opponent they would surely be burnt horrifically, if not burnt alive.
Gravity Shot: With this spell, magic bullets fire from Silas' guns increases the gravity of whatever it connected with. The struck target would have a great increase in their personal gravity with every connected shot. Should Silas shoot the target enough, it will eventually begin to sink even through rock from the drastic gravity increase.
Rapid Fire Meteor: First, white energy is funneled to the tip of his revolver, pooling together to prepare for the spell. Silas then continuously pulls the trigger of his guns and fires off shots of white magical energy in rapid succession towards his opponent. He uses this spell to overwhelm an opponent's defenses and/or blanket an entire area. The damage is cumulative, resulting in massive explosions that can completely engulf his opponents. Even while firing, Silas is able to adjust his aim to redirect his attacks by simply moving the revolver as he strikes the back of the hammer. It is unknown just how many shots Silas can fire but it can be safe to assume that it is in the dozens.
Asteroid Impact: Gathering a large amount of energy in front of his revolver, Jakko fires a destructive black blast with orange fiery energy that causes a massive explosion upon contact. When the energy collects in front of his weapon, the intense heat it creates begins to cause the air around it to ripple, signaling an extreme increase in temperature. This spell takes a few seconds to prepare and Silas makes sure to give himself plenty of space to fire it without being caught in the blast radius. When firing the blast, the energy takes the form of a large black and orange flaming ball that resembles a meteor with incredible destructive potential. The explosion creates a small mushroom cloud from the resulting blast and is known to produce shockwaves to shake the ground. This spell is highly effective against very durable objects, and is equally effective against a single target or group.
Outlaw Bullet Arms: The fundamental technique under Silas' ownership, it's quite simple in nature; this basically fires a condense magical bullet from his pistols, having enough penetration power to blast through even solid concrete. Since it's the simplest technique out of his various Guns Magic spells, it doesn't require much power to cast — solely dependent on the pistol itself. This spell is adjustable due to the bullets used, thus can be infused with other spells to make it much more versatile. It seems that this spell is one of his signature techniques, typical given how he mainly uses firearms as his main method of combat.
Outlaw Bullet Arms: Bullet Rain:By gathering eternano into a single magic bullet, Silas will fire it and in doing so it will split into ten different bullets, each having enough piercing power to piercing through concrete. Silas is able to control their trajectory, this allows the bullets to curve around barriers and obstacles to reach targets, attack at unsuspecting angles and blind-spots, confuse opponents as it keeps moving around before making the unexpected strike, and have it gain momentum and piercing power by flying around. This makes the spell very accurate, it is even able to avoid hostages to hit the enemy without harming the hostage at all. Silas can increase the power and speed of each bullet individually to cause more damage to places where the foe is expecting it to be minimal.
Outlaw Bullet Arms: Double Cannon Outburst: By gathering eternano around his hands whilst holding two pistols, he "fuses" the two together — producing two cannon-like structures where his forearms used to be with similair designs to the extension barrels on his Long Horns; despite being many times larger than himself, they're not heavy and merely act as extensions of his own body. When fired, they produce two explosive rounds carrying incredulous penetration power and having enough magic to possibly counter most spells thrown at Silas' person. Silas tends to be a bit creative when it comes to this technique, using the twin shots to repel attacks coming at him from multiple angles, combine the bullet from the two cannons — forming a larger one carrying twice the destructive potential, or simply use the cannons themselves as blunt objects causing possibly major damage upon contact.

Bullet Magic
Piercing Bullet: Silas mimics with his hand the appearance of a gun, and then bends slightly their index and middle finger, creating a Magic sphere in the air from where a powerful piercing bullet is fired towards the target.
Explosion Bullet: Silas puts his arm forward engulfing his hand is a magical sphere from where a beam-like bullet is fired towards the target. Upon contact it creates a big explosion.

The Gunner
The Long Horns: Aside from the barrels, these two revolvers are as big as the standard revolver, the barrels however are at least 3 feet long. It should be noted however that the long barrels can be removed, revealing a much shorter barrel. The long barrels can be added onto any handgun, increasing their range by an additional 500 yards.
Special Attacks/Advanced Spells:
Guns Magic
Black Rebellious Revelation Impact: A magic that allows Silas to change the properties of his gun and the bullets, the true source of this technique; when fired, the bullets obtain supernatural abilities unlike any other; some of which include: movement at impossible angles — swerving around all that block its path in order to reach its given destination, incredulous piercing force — piercing through most things that comes in contact with the bullet, tremendous speed — outpacing even the fastest targets and making it seem that its a mere blur of light, and even after imaging — creating even more bullets to cover a wider-range. Silas states that each property can be selectively chosen by him, however, there's a limitation to this effect, as it can only one can be applied to each bullet. No one may have two properties, as it would cause an overload of magic, leading to its eventual disintegration along with the gun it's fired from; thus Silas has to be wise about which property to use in the given situation. The most notable weakness is that Silas can only shoot six rounds utilizing this technique. On the seventh, it gains a will of its own — possessed by an "unknown force", which he denotes to be the negative influence associated with magic itself, taking the form of an "evil spirit"; its this force that decides where the last bullet will reach, most notably to the person with "the most sin". It's due to this "final cursed bullet" that Silas can use the technique once every week — only firing six rounds, as the seventh is deemed too risky for his and his allies' well-being.
Outlaw Bullet Arms: Phantasmagorical Gun Array: This is perhaps the most versatile of all the Guns Magic spells under Silas' ownership, created with the purpose to adjust to any and all situations he may find himself in. This technique has no definite form, as explained by the spell's title, as its constantly-shifting according to Silas' will. Apparently, this spell can be used multiple times but requires a great amount of power to enact properly, thus making it the most difficult to cast thus far; it also takes a long period to cast, thus needs to be done either before he enters battle or when he's in a remote location away from enemy-fire. Silas gathers large amounts of eternano from the surroundings, gathering it into a large orb and infuses it with his own energy — making it malleable; he uses the basics of shape transformation to transmutate it into a mercury-based orb with unique designs, similar to the ones found on his pistols. It's from this orb that the various guns Silas is able to employ at an instant, regardless of size or function; upon command, the orb manifests transforms into the gun of the man's choosing, letting him use it effectively. After its serves his purpose, it transfigures back into its original state — constantly floating behind his person. Silas has shown to change in-between guns periodically without doing the aforementioned, showing the technique's versatile nature. In a sense, this technique can be seen as a "living arsenal" — sustainable for long periods and reliable in achieving Silas' ends when necessary. Something considered to be a rarity, this technique is self-sustaining as it constantly absorbs the energy from the surroundings to keep itself active; only through Silas' will is it dissipated, thus making it the only technique in his possession that can't be cancelled out through normal methods. The energy it gathers can also be transferred to himself or his allies, serving as a form of support whilst performing its original functions. This spell can also become additional bullets for Silas to use.
Outlaw Bullet Arms: Calvary Overkill: This is rather simple yet effective technique being the larger-scale variant of the initial spell; through the wave of his hands, Silas summons over a hundred muskets — calling forth all the eternano in the area to do so. The pistols tend to be lined up all around his person, giving him a field of "absolute protection" — nullifying nearly any attempts to harm his personage, or he can have them all surround his target, creating a dome; upon command, they fire off volleys of magical bullets at the target, assaulting them with wave after wave of gunfire incomparable to anything his other spells could produce. They travel at high speeds and capable of piercing even the most hardened of objects with little to no difficulty, making sure that nothing escapes its wrath. The amalgamation of such a bombardment creates an explosion of great magnitudes, covering a considerable distance — instantly razing anything and everything within the area. If the rain of highly-condensed magical bullets don't finish them, the explosion surely will; due to such a magnitude, it's nearly impossible to defend nor properly avoid, as the backlash produced is great enough to tear asunder the very, ground, creating a massive crater. The only thing left is utter destruction from such an onslaught, usually seen in the form of a barren wasteland, large craters, and scorched earth. Silas notes that the employment of such a powerful technique isn't meant to be taken lightly, as its taxing on his person and it can't be used in a string of succession; he normally reserves the technique when facing opponents in great numbers — wishing to either defeat or eliminate them in a given instance.

Master Gunman:
Acting as his main and most favored method of combat, Silas has shown extraordinary prowess with handling guns, something that's only matched by his innate magical talents; in fact, most of the epithets under his belt refers to his use of such weapons, employing them in a skillful manner unlike any other. When employing his marksmanship, he utilizes his knowledge and keen awareness of his surroundings to the utmost limit — making various calculations about the angles of his shots and the power behind them; this allows him to effectively pierce through most things that his bullets make contact with. Even the most powerful technique are deemed moot in the face of Silas's shooting capabilities, firing his magical bullets at multiple angles in order to effectively hit said technique's weak points, causing it collapse in on itself as a result. He can even change the directions of his bullets by having them collide with one another and having them bounce off of various surfaces, allowing them to hit their targets at the most unexpected angles; this makes it fairly difficult to judge their trajectory, as its always random. Silas often boasts that he's able to hit various targets with great accuracy, regardless of its size velocity — something he's proven time and time again; this once again denotes to his use of knowledge and insight, making calculations and predictions to maximize the effectiveness of his shots. There are times where he relies on the various properties of his magic-forged bullets to do the job and at others, the size of his unique weapon itself, especially when utilized through his specialized variant of Guns Magic— magic he excels in over all others. Silas is noted to also excel in other areas of gun utilization, including quick-draw — using the natural speed of his body in order to fire faster than the opponent, allowing for him to land the first (and in most cases, last) hit, and rapid-firing — launching multiple bullets from his pistol(s) at a time.

Dǎodàndào is the name of an ancient form of Gun Kata and something that's used by the most skilled of gunslingers; it's considered to be a martial arts in its own right, as it involves many basics concerning the art and utilizing it in-tandem with the user's gunslinging prowess. It's unknown when it was created, but it's estimated to be around the same time that guns were invented and become the popular weapon of choice; furthermore, this art was developed by an unknown martial artist after he's analyzed various gunfights that he's either watched and participated in and finding ways to incorporate various teachings of various martial arts such as Bāguàzhǎng, Jujitsu, Karate, and Taekwondo. He later passed down such teaching and its become well-known ever since; even Silas has known of its existence even before becoming involved in gunplay. When he learned the art, he was able to quickly adapt to its teachings — easily figuring out the way its performed and what's needed for its execution. It's due to this that he often uses such a style for close-range combat over all others, as it allows his to utilize his favored weapons even in the most unexpected of situations.
The fighting form requires Silas to utilize his Dingos in the most unorthodox manner, completely veering off the normal standards set for a gun; also, he would have to use his physical prowess in such a way that it matches up with his gunslinging skills, creating a perfect equilibrium between the two. Though normally impossible for the average person, it's considered to be an easy task for a genius like him, seeing how he got that concept near-instantaneously. Dǎodàndào's teachings involves the guns being a "maximum overkill weapon" — using all power and special properties at its disposal to impose the greatest amount of damage to its target; this would make it one of the more destructive fighting styles to-date, as high-level users are able to amass great levels of chaos when used for prolonged periods in a fight. Though practitioners usually use a single gun, it's most effective when done dual-wielding; Silas uses his guns as melee weapons whilst shooting off the bullets at near-inconceivable angles, the combination of the two being able to throw off the opponent whilst dealing as much damage to them as possible, as aforementioned. He further elaborates that because of this, it's impossible for normal stat-changing magic to stand up to such an onslaught, as its fast-paced and unrelenting — rarely giving the opponent an opportunity to fight back.
The guns themselves are seen like any other short-ranged weapon when employed under this style, as their apparent bluntness is enough to cause concussions upon contact in certain areas; this is especially true in Silas' case, as he's able to freely change the properties of his pistols. In addition, he's able to employ two forms of this art — something that only master-level practitioners are capable of; the Long-Distance Rifle Style allows for Silas to shoot his bullets whilst positioned at unusual angles, having enough force to throw off a person's balance when aimed at the right section — effectively stunning them for a brief period; the style even allows for the gun itself to be thrown a considerable distance — bouncing off of whatever it makes contact with, and comes flying back to the user — similar to a boomerang. The Short-Ranged Pistol Style calls for hitting the opponent at various parts of the body using either the bullets or the gun itself, forcefully rupturing said parts and cause both internal and external damage in the same instance. It seems that hand motions, throws, full-body contact, blocks, joint locks, and even kicks are required for the latter — as it help lock in the practitioner's chances of victory. Also, the art can be employed on nearly any given surface if the fighter is skilled enough. Silas seems to constantly transition between the two styles, firing less bullets and focusing more on the blows themselves; however, this doesn't mean he won't use his bullet's magical properties when the need arises, something that art itself emphasizes for sheer effectiveness. The fact he's able to use the art with such effectiveness further solidifies him being ones of the best gunslingers to-date, as well as one of the more flexible practitioners it has to offer — solely due to the ever-shifting properties of his pistols.
