Vincent watched as the lady handed the girl her things and a pokeball. "I suppose we are..." he said in response to Pearl's statement about being classmates. He was surprised at how excited the girl was when an Espurr appeared out of the pokeball. It was almost...too much for the quiet male before looking at the woman and listening to her explanation of what the booth was meant for. When Pearl had mentioned the statement that made her seem eager to see what pokemon he was starting with, he wasn't sure what to think. He didn't feel comfortable bringing his pokemon out so early but maybe it would be alright...
When Vincent noticed the smile on the woman's face after her explanation, his face turned into a light shade of pink before his eyes went to looking at the ground, "U-Uh, Vincent Lapis, ma'am. Is there...any way I could find out about my dorm room as well and when I can move in?" He mentally kicked himself for stuttering and feeling uptight, but he didn't know how else to respond. In his mind, he was hoping for a ghost pokemon, or a psychic type. However, he would be fine with any pokemon. He had to help with a variety of pokemon on his uncle's farm, so he was sure that he could handle any pokemon that the academy gave to him as a starter.
Pearl smiled when Vincent ( as she learned the boy was called) confirmed thy were going to be classmates. "Soo what'd you get?" she asked somewhat excitedly, turning around with he pokemon still in her arms, when Vincent received his pokemon. She couldn't help but smile slightly when he asked the teacher's aid about dorm rooms ( which she'd like to know as well, now that she thought about it) He was adorable too, she decided.

Skylar watched as the two classmates chatted together, it reminded her of her own academy days. Though at the beginning Skylar was rather cold towards everyone. Now that she looks back at it, she finds it so childish. She had never believed in friendship, but that was a different story now. She learned the hard way that there were people you could trust. Yes, you could get betrayed by other people, but as long as you had someone along side you then it didn't matter. The pain could be healed by those who were constantly supporting her. It was a huge lesson she had been thankful to learn. Attention was drawn back as the girl went on to freak out about her pokemon. Skylar sighed, where they all going to act like that when they opened up their pokeballs to see their new partner? Part of her was annoyed, the other was sympathetic. She knew what that feeling was like after all. Her attention shifted back to the boy, as he seemed to blush lightly. How cute, these two look so adorable side by side! Wait what? Alana must have gotten to her, she was sounding just like her now! Uh what a pain, she'd have to complain to the girl to stop sharing her perverted thoughts out loud. It was a bad habit of Alana's to ship people together.
Her eye met crystal blue one's as the boy gave his name and asked her if she could find his dorm room. She smirked "all that information is located in your student handbook. All rooms are ready for you to move into at anytime" she said, checking off his name and giving him his own suitcase full of items. She smiled a bit "don't feel too bad, many new students feel nervous their first time here... may I suggest playing some of the game booths we have around the area? I'm sure they can help relax those tense muscles you have" she said, amusement dancing in her eyes.

Vincent took the suitcase from the lady, listening to what she was saying to him. So he should be able to look in his student handbook to answer most of his questions... At least, that's the impression he got from it. He placed the suitcase on the ground when he heard her say it was normal for students to feel nervous. Was that what he was feeling? He frowned slightly at her statement about tense muscles, "W-Who said I was feeling that way? And I don't know what tense muscles you are referring to."
Vincent then looked over at Pearl, who had asked what kind of pokemon he had received as his starter. He took out the pokeball and opened it, Noibat came out flying around him in circles as he sang happily. "....A Noibat." The white-haired male stated in a plain tone. Vincent wasn't upset at his starter pokemon, it was just that his father actually had a Noivern that would watch over him like a hawk when he was younger. So his dad's Noivern was this small at one point...Vincent shrugged off the thought of his father before looking at Noibat, "Hey, Noibat. Is it alright if I call you Gil?" Noibat stopped flying in circles and hovered in place in front of Vincent's face before hugging his trainer's face with joy. Vincent sighed softly...his pokemon was going to be an oddball like him...

"Cuuute" Pearl said when Vincent ( could she call him Vinny? She'd kinda like to call him Vinny) revealed his noibat. She also listened when the older girl ( Skylar? Was it? ) gave them information about the student hand book and their rooms ( she'd have to read that at some point) Her eyes lit up when game booths were mentioned. Oh that sounded like so much fun. Putting her sunglasses back down, she smiled and grabbed on to Vincent's arm, Smerick being held by one arm now. "Come on, let's play spin the wheel" she said before heading for the booth.
-Exit when/if Vincent is ready ( feel free to shake her off if you want. I just kinda wanted to try spin the wheel and this IS something she would do )

Vincent's face turned a faint shade of pink when he heard Pearl state that his Noibat was cute. Noibat twirled in the air before resting on top of Vincent's head and letting out a content growl. When his eyes looked over at Pearl, he felt her grab onto his arm. Vincent quickly pulled his arm away, looking a little flustered, "H-Hey, don't forget your suitcase. You need at least one arm for that...A-And sure. We can go to spin the wheel." Even though he was acting flustered, Vincent was a little annoyed with Pearl's cheerful behavior. Maybe part of it is because he doesn't know how to deal with girls...or happy behavior in general. He grabbed his suitcase with one hand, adjusting the bag that was slung across his shoulder before he started walking towards the Spin the Wheel Booth.
