One of my favorite card games is a game called Gloom. Essentilaly, you're given a family and you have to make their life the worst possible while making other players (families) the best. Whoever kills off all of their characters with the worst life wins! It's kinda morbid but I like it a lot.
I always fancied the idea of having game nights with friends and families but it never took off but I still love silly games like that. smile
Besides that I also have Machi Koro and Arkham Asylum. What kind of card games / board games is everyone into? Any you recommended or want to stay away from?

Lol this sounds amazing! Do you just make rounds of actions, like "my daughter eats bleech, begins to start feeling ill" and then the next person goes?? I'm very curious now xD
I used to play Hand and Foot (card game) with family. Basically you take about 3/4 decks of cards, mix them together, then take turns drawing 2 cards, discarding 1 and you try to make a few "black" books and "red" books (based on card type, like Diamonds vs Spades), and whoever gets all the books in the end wins! Usually you play in teams, where you try to help build books for the person across from you.

I don't really play too many card games. Even when I was a kid I was never into playing with Pokemon or Yugioh cards. I like to play 'War' but you can do that with any old deck of cards. Right now my boyfriend is trying to get me to play Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons with him and his roommates.
I want to play Cards Against Humanity so bad but I have no one to play it with. gonk
As for board games, I will never, EVER turn down a game of Clue. Colonel Mustard ftw.
