Koushuu is a tall and dignified young man with navy blue hair flowing down like a calm river. He is described by some as handsome with an elegant face, and his eyes, dark amber in color, are visibly not those of a human and give off a mysterious radiance that makes people wither. He has a "perfect, Golden-proportioned body" described as emanating majesty that makes flames surrounding him afraid to come close, and his very soul glows golden. With a natural height of about Six Feet One inch and a build of densely packed muscles strong enough to bend a steel girder with his biceps alone. His intensely muscular build is not overbearing like some brute but strong enough to bless him with incredible natural strength and a full set of eight tightly packed abdominal muscles that peak out from his attire. His muscular body is wrapped over in a semi-pale semi-dark tan that keeps tightly to the muscles and bones of his body, his skin reminiscent of a dark marshmallow or even a ghost (spooky). His steel skin is woven so tightly in places around his body that he actually contains many different folds and wrinkles in his skin such as around his eyes, at the folds of his knuckles, and around each of his abdominal muscles. Only to add to his look of supreme intimidation, Koushuu's hair even presents a sense of fear. His hair flows down his face slightly, parting between his nose before carrying down near his jawline. The back of his hair is long, reaching just above his shoulder blades, and has a messy yet also tame look to it, some spikes seeming random yet others looked perfectly in place, as if he styled his hair everyday. (He didn't normally) Placed in the sockets of his strong face are Koushuu's mighty dark eyes, an almost eternal glare ridden in its form. These narrow, destructive eyes are colored in an odd shade of amber. At times, many can see that it is a golden brown when shined in the right light but mostly they are a dark amber that borderline a beautiful dark amber. This mighty glare seems to constrict the breath of those lower than him when looked straight in the eye, the power of it so mighty that it has actually given him a slightly sunken look due to the stretched skin found at the edge of his eyes.
『 Shinigami Miscellaneous Inventory 』 xxxxxxx Koushuu has a set of two gauntlets in the shape of a spider skull with a single large crimson gem set in the top. These gauntlets are mostly just an appearance thing, adding on to his whole "badass mofo" look that he tried to go for, unlike his twin brother Tetsuya.
『 Shinigami Personality Traits 』 xxxxxxx Koushuu when not around his fellow soldiers he acts in an apathetic matter, he always seems serene and indifferent towards other people, even while actually disliking or even hating someone. He is also notably calm, even in battle. He generally acts indifferent to most situations that he is faced with as shown from how easily he is able to come up with plans of action during combat. Koushuu is a calculating, cunning, and incredibly intelligent man. He is able to carefully look past his feelings towards a person or situation and see the real issues at hand. In battle, while his preference is to concoct strategies based on how his opponents move and act, his natural battle instincts are also highly tuned; a direct result of how many battles he'd been through, constantly sparring and fighting to the death with his comrades. He is capable of slashing another person's head off in just an instant, relying only on the instincts gained from his life. However, his care for his friends and the love he holds towards his deceased family drive him to become even stronger; heading towards his goal to be the strongest being alive.
In the face of adversity, Koushuu has the strange ability to shun all emotions and take on a blank mind, thinking seven or eight steps ahead of his enemy in order to allow him ample time to react accordingly. Coupled with his overwhelming intelligence and skill, his ability to remove all emotion from his mind and persona is one of his greatest assets, allowing him to calmly deal with any enemy or situation. Like his physical appearance shows, Koushuu has very high durability, shown in his ability to shrug off harmful things like burns and cuts with ease.
Koushuu won’t interrupt arguments or fights unless he feels the need to get personally involved in it; having been raised to always let a person deal with a situation on their own, using their own strength. One of the only things that will make him lose his composure is when a man refuses to use his own strength to settle a situation, relying on others who are weaker than them to deal with it. This always upsets the navy blue-haired man, who believed strength ruled everything, including others. Though he holds this opinion, he would never subjugate other beings to serve him; instead wanting to help guide them, feeling it would be of no use to have servants considering he is able to take care of himself just fine. Alongside this he believes that strength should decide things, he also believed that those who wish to take no part in combat or situations have to make that decision themselves.
Koushuu uses a vast Intellectual approach to battle. something that coupled with his physical strength made him quite a foe on the battlefield. Koushuu has been molded into a master strategist, tactician, and analyst by his many years of combat, having believed that despite being physically strong, one should also be mentally strong during combat. He is frequently the first person to point out or find a weakness in his opponent's abilities or fighting style and exploit them to his advantage. The weakness of this is that in his attempt to understand and come up with a way to defeat his opponent, he tends to find his opponents below him, simply because they showed a lack of intelligence in comparison to himself. 『 Shinigami Fears 』 xxxxxxx The only thing Koushuu fears in this life is losing his younger twin Tetsuya. 『 Biography Prologue 』
xxxxxxx Kōshū was the oldest child in his family, having an younger twin brother and a younger sister. He was trained by his mother at a young age to become an Shinigami, a person who used Reiatsu and concealed weapons on their targets. His mother was a powerful Shinigami at one point in time but stopped when she had her children. Knowing this made his brother and himself excited to learn from her, knowing such a thing would be helpful in his future when he decided to become a Shinigami under Commander Maki just like his parents had done.
One day while training with his mom, an Hollow managed to enter their home undetected and having decided to take a break to get some water and a snack, he left his mother and sister in the backyard, having followed Raichi to grab a snack during their break. While eating he, like his brother heard a loud scream, followed by a dull thud; which caused them to sprint from the inside of their home to the backyard. Upon reaching the backyard Kōshū saw the bloody corpse of his mother, lying atop his younger sister...who was also covered in blood. Though he couldn't tell if it was her own or his mother's; not seeing the monster who killed them around anywhere his brother Raichi ran to their family against his warnings against it, most likely hoping that even one of them was alive.
When he felt nothing but skin that was cold to the touch, he nearly broke down then and there, tears dripping slowly from his eyes onto the ground below him. That day, Kōshū promised himself, and the remains of his mother and siblings that he would become the man who would protect Raichi on the path to his dream. To do this however he needed more training...more strength. He contacted his father who was on a mission, and told him what happened; alongside what he'd promised himself. After a few weeks his father returned to him and his brother, to make sure something like this never happened to them again.
While this happened him and Raichi begged their dad to train him in the art of Zanjutsu, his younger twin wanting to learn Kenjutsu while he himself wished to learn Sōjutsu, the are of the spear, having already learned what he wanted from his mother before she passed away. When the man accepted the two were ecstatic; they'd both heard tales from their mom about how strong their father was, and it made him rather happy to even think about learning from him. After six years of training, his dad had deemed them both powerful enough to enter the forces of the Gotei so that he could get experience that he couldn't being stuck at home. Though he himself could have cared less about experience, and cared more about protecting his little brother from their enemies while they both trained and grew stronger together.

『 Shinigami Battle Strengths 』 xxxxxxx Koushuu is a master swordsman, capable of handling most if not all people who face him in the art of Zanjutsu. This is the thing he dedicates the most of his time to in life aside from his brother. xxxxxxx Alongside his mastery of Zanjutsu, Koushuu is a master of Hoho, capable of keeping up if not outspeeding all other practioners below complete mastery. xxxxxxx He has amazing teamwork with his brother Tetsuya, the two of them together easily overpowering others, this also makes the two of them deadly on assassination missions. xxxxxxx Thanks to his training in Hoho and Zanjutsu, Koushuu has developed what many could consider eagle eye vision, able to see farther and clearer than most people thought possible. Alongside this he's trained his body to react on base instinct, meaning his reactions are as fast as his body's capable of moving. 『 Shinigami Battle Weaknesses 』 xxxxxxx Having focused most of his time on Zanjutsu and Hoho, Koushuu is completely inept at using Kido, he's able to fire off maybe two before the rest explode in his face. xxxxxxx Just like with Kido, Koushuu knows next to nothing about Hakuda, having learned the basics before moving on to the rest of his studies. xxxxxxx Koushuu is incredibly difficult to work with if you're anyone but his brother Tetsuya, since due to his Kleine-Levin syndrome he finds himself worried that his teammates will abandon him should he fall asleep. xxxxxxx Falling asleep in battle.

『 Zanpakutō Sealed Form 』 xxxxxxxxxxxxx【 ✘ 】 xxxxxxx Koushuu's Zanpakutō takes the form of a beautiful yet simple Katana with a dark blue sheathe, black and gold tsuba alongside a white and gold hilt that had a set of glaciers engraved on it.
『 Zanpakutō Name 』 xxxxxxx Khutsomier 『 Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance 』 xxxxxxxxxxxxx【 ✘ 】 xxxxxxx Khutsomier is a large beast made pure of ice, with wicked spikes sticking from his shoulders, alongside two large wings with small slits and holes in them, showing that he was demonic in nature. His eyes glow with an unholy blue, and above his head is a large eye opened vertically made out of pure frost energy. His menacing form is complete with spikes protruding from his head and chest, alongside his feet having spikes going down them like miniature glaciers on a demon. 『 Zanpakutō Shikai Activation Statement 』 xxxxxxx"Freeze their souls..." 『 Zanpakutō Shikai Expertise 』 xxxxxxx Mastered 『 Zanpakutō Shikai Appearance 』 xxxxxxxxxxxxx【 ✘ 】 xxxxxxx Much like his brother Raichi, Koushuu's Shikai releases into an abnormal form, one that envelopes the entire battlefield around them, allowing him to command it all with his mind and spirit. That being said, the moment he releases his blade dissapears into shards of ice, before the entire battlefield is instantly plunged into below freezing temperatures, followed by the area being covered in ice; whilst glaciers exploded from the earth beneath them to cover the battlefield. Using this he's able to cause ice to form into spikes or glaciers or whatever shape he wishes using just his mind or his hands if he wishes. Alongside this he's capable of forming his once Katana into a large spear in his hand, though it lacks anything special aside from allowing him to use his Zanjutsu techniques in battle. However this area is not just ice and glaciers, as snow will proceed to fall down in the area in thick waves, covering most things from the sight of his enemies and himself he doesn't take proper precautions.
xxxxxxx As you would expect from the name and appearance of his Shikai, the world around them becomes a dangerous place for all but himself and those he gives permission to enter. This takes its shape in the form of the freezing cold wind and snow that envelopes the battlefield. The moment someone steps foot into his world of snow and ice they'll begin to freeze from the inside out, slowly killing them and causing severe hypothermia to them. If they don't leave the area within three posts they will begin to notice their limbs going numb, followed by an intense burning cold spreading throughout their body. Another three posts later and the user will notice frost forming over their skin, causing frost burns along their flesh, significantly reducing effectiveness whilst most likely causing slow shutdown of the motor functions. Three more posts after this and severe hypothermia will set in, causing the opponents body to feel intense pain on the level of being burned alive, whilst also shutting down and losing complete use of their body. If they are taken from the area within two posts of the hypothermia setting in and healed with a healing Kido of Lieutenant efficiency or higher they will begin to reverse the effects.
『 Zanpakutō Shikai Abilities 』 xxxxxxxxxxxxx⒈ 【 霜の世界 - Shimo no Sekai - Frost World xxxxxxxxxxxxx【 Ability Duration 】Two posts, one to setup and one to execute. xxxxxxx This technique takes its shape in a large dusting of frost dust that expands in a fifty yard diameter around Koushuu when he begins using this attack. The dust will slowly grow thicker, blocking his enemies vision whilst also catching more things within it. After one post of gathering, upon which Koushuu can still move and react, he'll snap his fingers, causing the dust around him to explode into a large pillar of ice one hundred yards high, engulfing anything in a one-hundred yard by one-hundred yard area near him. He is capable of fusing with this ice to keep himself from being injured, but should he be attacked with fire while in the ice it can still damage if not kill him.
xxxxxxxxxxxxx⒉ 【絶対零度 - Zettaireido - Absolute Zero 】 xxxxxxxxxxxxx【 Ability Duration 】Permanent until his Shikai's undone. xxxxxxx Unlike the other attacks he can use in his Shikai, this is more of a supportive technique if anything. By infusing his Reiatsu into his allies or enemies he wishes to keep alive through his Shikai's subzero temperatures, he's capable of forming a moderate resistance to the cold, increasing the amount of time required in between different stages of Hypothermia on them. This will increase it from three posts to six for each stage, meaning it will take eighteen posts instead of nine to cause complete hypothermia of the body. This allows him to keep his allies in the fight instead of harming them, whilst also allowing him to slow down later stages of Hypothermia on his enemies once he defeats them. Keeping them from dying of the severe cold that would invade their body and soul.
xxxxxxxxxxxxx⒊ 【 天の打撃 - Ten no Dageki - Heaven's Strike 】 xxxxxxxxxxxxx【 Ability Duration 】Two Posts, one for the spears in the ground, one for them raining down. xxxxxxx This attack is considered the strongest one amongst his Shikai techniques, utilizing the entirety of the battlefield in one fell swoop instead of small areas like most others. The moment he activates this technique his hand begins to glow an eerie blue before frost seemed to form on it like smoke around his joints. When this happens he'll proceed to slam his hand into the ground below him. The moment this happens thousands of large spears made of ice explode from under the ground, reaching nearly fifty yards tall. However that wasn't all they did, with a flick of his wrist these spears will shrink down and detach from the ground before launching into the air, after a few seconds they will begin raining down upon the battlefield, covering the entire area in a rain of spears. This technique covers an area that's five hundred yards in diameter.
