Personality: Tau tries to be cheerful in dark circumstances and comfort others. He puts on a brave face because he believes he has to help others. But deep down, he himself is very afraid and unsure of what's going on. Tau hides his serious, introspective personality through a cheerful, cooing facade, allowing himself to pass off as stupid or unintelligent and thus nonthreatening.
Biography/Background: Tau comes from a line of sentient alien shapeshifters who crash-landed on Earth and settled in the planet. They settled as rock pigeons, losing all forms but those of humans and birds, and lived in the company of several different species until the present day. Before entering the Academy, Tau lived as a young pidge in a flock of other urban pigeons with his family. One night, human figures raided his nest and Tau's family subsequently disappeared. Tau's uncle and aunt sent him away to this Academy. He was judged unfit for academics and assigned to be the Academy's mascot.
