Crow And as the familiar power surged through him, the regular clothing he once wore morphed into a pitch-black and dark blue guise, his face concealed by a black mask. And above him floated a rather bored-looking black and white being, holding a blade. Of course, Kurome's power of delusion would still be a problem... if he didn't have a method to prevent that. A blood-red surge of energy enveloped him momentarily, letting out a huge amount of power. His once composed eyes turned blood red and widened in a sadistic, crazed gaze. "GYAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!" He let out, relishing every single shred of the power he felt overcoming him."What?! He's... gone psychotic! My power of delusion can't reach him like this...""AHahahahahahhA!! Acceptance?! FAMILY?! Don't make me laugh!! I am DONE, being toyed with by self-absorbed shits like you! Oh, god! It feels like it's been so long since I've soaked up this power! Every single inch...! And with it, I'm going to rip you into tiny, insignificant pieces!!" His wide, psychotic grin went well with his bloodthirsty mien and crazed eyes. It was very clear that he was more than ready to kill..."Don't get so cocky!" Garon took one step forward..."HEREWARD!" His Persona--Loki--vanished, shifting into another pitch-black Persona that seemed to be holding a bow. Raising its arm, a blade materialized, flying back before striking heavily down onto Garon's form. "I'll cut you to ribbons!!" And before Kurome could do much to react, Akechi was there in front of her, slashing wildly like a crazed killer. "You little s**t...!! Bleed more!!! I want to hear you SCREAM!! AHahahhHahHHA!" " Kurome wasn't exactly prepared for this sudden onslaught, and every time she tried to back away, Akechi just advanced aggressively towards her, throwing caution entirely to the wind in order to cause her more suffering.
"Ngh! I won't forget...!!" Due to the multiple slash wounds being inflicted her every second, she didn't feel the strong need to finish her words before escaping through teleportation.
"Gyahahahahaha!! Where are you going?! Didn't you want to FIGHT?! Where did all your courage go? Completely SPINELESS!!" That masked face resembling that of a madman turned his attention to Garon now, as Hereward returned to his side. "You!! You piss me OFF! Just like Shido! You're so self-absorbed. You'll use anyone and toss them aside, no matter who they are! I'm going to enjoy BREAKING you into PIECES!!" That composed boy that was only moments before studying his surroundings with a keen eye to discern where he was seemed like a distant memory now.

"NOO!! Don't!! " Came the horrified scream of Elise, who threw herself in front of Garon in a protective manor. Her normally kind, gentle violet eyes suddenly filled with determination to protect her dysfunctional father. "I won't let you hurt father! Maybe he is a big meanie, and he can be cruel, but...even so...I won't let anyone hurt him. The good in him is still there, I know it! " Part of her reasoning for coming here was not only due to a bad feeling she had, but because she had planned to try and make her way back in order to talk to him herself. In her heart, she believed so strongly that given the chance, alone with Garon, she could break through the darkness that took away the good she knew was buried and locked away. Fighting wasn't the way to go, she didn't want to fight him, nor show any form of anger. She just wanted to save him. "Please...just go away!"

Crow"Gh!" Crow's face contorted into a look of utter disgust and contempt as the naive little s**t jumped in the way of her father. "You stupid b***h. MOVE!!" He shouted, his eyes widening with a look of pure, intense rage. "I will TEAR you to PIECES along WITH HIM!" Whether or not he was serious, it was far from easy to tell given his completely psychotic behavior."...What a thoughtful daughter I have." Elise would feel a harsh pain as one of her twin tails was pulled, gripped by the man who had once been her father, and she would feel the cold steel of an axe's blade press against her throat. "Are you sure you want to kill me so badly?You should surrender, or you'll have her blood on your hands." Poor Elise, she just wanted to help."Tch." Akechi's look of absolute disgust remained, but the psychotic energy that had enveloped him dissipated swiftly, and he drew out a silenced pistol, leveling it towards Garon. He would need a level head here. "And what makes you think I care for her life?""What?"That disgusted look contorted into a condescending, smug grin. "You don't know s**t about me. You have no idea how many good, innocent people I've knowingly killed. What's one more? I'm already bound for hell. Her life is inconsequential to me." He pointed the barrel of his pistol directly at Elise's skull. "Maybe I'll just kill her myself and save you the trouble." Either Akechi was a very good actor or every word he was saying was entirely true. Or both."Hrmph. Do it then! I'm waiting." Elise was really stuck between two different places who seemed to place less than zero value on her life. Luckily, there were those that cared about her..."Let me go! She's in danger...!!""Calm down! Acting rashly will only make the situation worse...!" Robin pulled his son's arm with all his strength to keep him from rushing headlong in and turning bad to worse. "Isn't that why you brought me along in the first place? Listen, we don't have much time..." He turned to his wife, speaking concisely. "Lissa, you still have the Rescue staff?" He nodded after her affirmation. "We can't use it until she's safely separated from Garon, otherwise he may kill her before it's finished.""I doubt we can rely on the aid of the madman in the mask." Xander said wearily. "How do you intend to separate them?""I believe I know what Robin is planning," Leo chimed in. "My tome has the ability to control gravity. I can amplify gravity enough around him to catch him off-guard, and if we can strike him hard enough then, we should be able to get him to release our naive sister.""I see... a gambit, but we don't have enough time to work through another strategy.""Alright, here's the plan...""So happy to see your daughter die if it suits your needs... You really are just like Shido." Crow muttered in disgust. "Then I shall-""Halt!!" Came a familiar voice from on high, and when those gathered looked, they would see a striking figure indeed--a would-be hero with his back turned atop a building. And then, with a powerful leap, he landed upon the ground, turning and throwing out his arm heroically. "Owain Dark has made his entrance!!" If not for how dire the situation was, he would be overjoyed at how well he nailed that entrance. "Villain! You hold the flower budding in the dusk hostage, and I'll not stand idly by and allow you to harm her anymore!""All you "heroes" look the same to me. Who are you again?""What an imbecile." Akechi muttered. "It's about time..." He said quietly through his teeth."I'm going to save you," Owain said to Elise, his tone a rare serious as he looked directly into her eyes. "Just hold on.""You're a fool if you believe yourself capabl- grh?!" Garon felt his body suddenly weighed down. "Leo...?!" He identified the most likely cause quickly.Crow's eyes cut to the side--to where he knew observers were. Due to my method for stalling, they've likely identified me as a threat. He thought to himself. They'll likely target him and I simultaneously to try to ensure her safety. And sure enough, in the same instant, a purple tendril-like beam shot towards him. "LOKI!" Shattering his mask, the black-and-white Persona from before reappeared, erecting a magical barrier that repelled the attack and shot it towards the sky."What?!" Xander seemed in disbelief that he managed to block that. "Are his reflexes that sharp? No, he must have seen it coming..."Meanwhile,the spell Thoron sped towards Garon's flank, which was open due to him facing Akechi. However, he managed to push through the extreme gravity rather impressively to force his body to turn towards the lightning, and pull Elise to be in its way."Damn!" Robin waved his arm, dissipating Thoron before it made its way to striking Elise."Grr, I can't miss this chance!!""Owain!!"There was no hesitation in Owain's movements, as he charged towards Garon, his blade brandished. Thanks to Leo's gravity, his axe wasn't next to Elise's neck any longer, but who knew how long that would last? He didn't have time to waste. "Hraah!" He leaped into the air, raising his blade above his head to bring it down to Garon--counting on the fact that the gravity wouldn't allow him to raise Elise to block there."Grrk!" There was a loud clattering as Garon dropped his axe, Bolverk, and brought his free arm up quickly to deliver a hard punch directly into Owain's gut before the myrmidon could reach him."Gaahk!" Owain was sent flying backwards a short distance, slamming into the ground but using the momentum to roll on the ground to plant his feet back on the ground and force himself right back up. "Not done yet!!""You cannot hope to challenge me, boy!""Idiots..." Crow muttered, firing his pistol."GAAH!" The bullet lodged itself into the side of Garon's skull, causing him to release Elise and stumble backwards.Robin was initially shocked to receive the unlikely help, but quickly regained his composure. "LISSA, NOW!""You little...!" Garon grabbed his axe from the ground, raising it above his head with the full intention to kill Elise before Rescue could be finished."!!" Owain didn't have time to think things through, dropping his sword so it wouldn't weigh him down and sprinting to Elise, placing his body over hers to protect her."NO!!""...!" Had Crow more time to think this through, he wouldn't do what he did next, but instead he acted purely on instinct. "Hereward!" Summoning his other Persona now, it appeared above Owain and Elise, taking the axe strike to the chest that was meant for them. "GAAHK!" Unfortunately, that pain didn't just go nowhere--a Persona was the physical incarnation of a person's heart, and as such, any pain the Persona felt was transferred to the user. Akechi clutched his chest, falling down to one knee, breathing heavily as Hereward was dispelled. It was then that Rescue would be finished, and Elise would be Warped away to where Lissa and the others had been hiding.Garon raised his weapon again to attack the now unarmed Owain, but as he brought the axe down with incredible speed and anger, the blow would be completely parried following the sound of a galloping horse. Xander, riding upon his horse, used his Siegfried blade to parry Garon's attack, causing Garon to stumble backwards due to the weight of the axe and the power of Xander's swing. "Stand down!" Xander demanded, as Owain quickly stood and momentarily retreated to rearm himself."What a worthless excuse for a son. You are to obey me, boy!""Silence!!" Xander pointed his blade at the one before him. "You are not my father, you're just using his body like a puppet. You will receive no mercy!""Tch..." Meanwhile, Crow grunted from the pain he was experiencing. It wouldn't be fatal, but it still hurt like hell. "What a group of fools... why did I even bother..." Why, indeed... Was a certain Trickster rubbing off on him? He certainly hoped not/ Becoming like Joker and his pathetic teammates would be the last thing I'd want... And yet the action he just took was exactly something Ren would have done...(( OOC: ))
