Abstract Alignment LanXiaoYu Abstract Alignment LanXiaoYu Abstract Alignment (softly chanting "mystic")
gaia_angelleft *sits next to you and starts chanting with you* yesssss gaia_angelleft all I know are team blue... it's called "Weisheit" (wisdom) in German, which I think is just so weird... Team Mystic is supposedly the team of intellect, so wisdom isn't so strange! gaia_angelleft yeah, and they probably thought that "Mystisch" did sound weird... but still... I just wished they wouldn't have different names for each country. it's already so confusing that the pokemons all have different names... because my brother-in-law only knows the English names, so we often have to discribe the pokemom we are talking about, since the names are of no help!

Dark Angel Ara Ara loved the console games and didn't plan on doing pokemon go but tried it out anyways. It's pretty fun. Not sure what's rare but I've found a 495 tauros, a 100 venusaur and got an aerodactyl out of an egg. Nice! I haven't come across any of those yet. Saw a charizard while in a Walmart parking lot yesterday, but it had 3 steps and I couldn't find it.

HyacynthBlue I got Pokemon Yellow and a Game Boy Color for Christmas when I was 8 and I'm 23 and still playing the games so I was excited to check out Pokemon Go!
The coolest things I've caught so far are a Jynx, a Vulpix, a 570 CP Clefable, and a 260 CP Eevee that evolved into an 860CP Flareon heart
I've had plenty of trouble with the servers, the game freezing, glitches, and all that jazz but I've still been having lots of fun with it.
Charmander and Vulpix were my first favorites, though with the tons of new generations of Pokemon I have a lot of favorites now! Aw, cool to see you still love the games. And hopefully the server stuff will sort itself out sometime - still a pretty new release, so it's understandable. But it definitely is still fun besides all that.

I really wish the technology they used for this app was different. I wonder if it would be possible to create something like an overlay so people can stop bumping into random objects. Augmented reality has so much more potential, but I feel like they are heavily limiting it. I guess it's just a given. I mean, if they used something akin to hi-tech glasses, it *might* make everyone more safe. The main issue would be high rates of theft and the obnoxious price tag.
I think something of this nature would better suited for adults. If the game was "projected" through some sort of technology, the user would still be able to see what's in front of them. While someone is playing the game, if there is some sort of danger, the game could warn the player. The camera would be much more steady and the pokémon would try to attack the pokéballs thus creating a challenge. I really hate brainstorming ideas for games like this. It's like as much as I love doing it, there are so many limitations out there.
What do you think? Do you think it would be worth it? I would seriously love to create something like this, but it all comes down to money, resources, and those lovely copyright issues we all love.
Also, I am playing around with app, but all in all, there's really not much to do. Sure it's fun to catch pokémon and all, the question is, what are you going to do once you caught 'em all?

I can honestly see something like that becoming reality someday, with how technology seems to be progressing.
