Located in tunnels below the arena, the Menagerie contains countless cages, each cage usually containing some vicious animal or captured monster. When the arena runs low on gladiators or warriors, or when the people just need a bit more variety, beasts from the menagerie are released into the arena, be it to fight gladiators or other monsters. Either way, the fate of anything contained by these cages, is death.
