- Hozukimaru is very playful in person. At least, he is whenever the situation isn't threatening. Whenever he is on a job or placed in a situation where he needs to be serious, he becomes very cold. A normal person looking into his eyes whenever he is like this would feel a deep blood lust bubbling inside of him. He has no remorse for the lives he has taken. In fact, he enjoys it. But, he does restrain himself. Otherwise he would get arrested and thrown in jail since he doesn't have the same influence he used to.
Zuki has his own agenda already set in his mind. Because of this, he tends to hide his intentions whenever he says or does something that would benefit him and what he intends to accomplish, but he is very good at covering his tracks. It's very hard to figure him out. Hozukimaru enjoys the thrill of being found out though, and someone who can see through his lies and motives immediately gains his respect, and often cases he grows to love them in some form. He's a cunning guy. But not like a fox. No. Hozukimaru Omaeda can only be described as a spider, lying in wait until his prey falls into his web, where he wraps them up in a web of lies so that he can keep them close for a later day. The only difference is that he is completely open about who he is and what he can do, he enjoys people knowing who he is.
The first of two more points about Hozukimaru's personality, probably the most interesting and important points that need to be noted, is that Hozukimaru is very loyal. However, his loyalty isn't to the Lumen, or whatever other faction he is a part of at the time. No. Zuki's loyalties lay solely with the Guardian's of Horus. If he is given a job that would somehow go against his old faction or their teachings in some way, then he flat out refuses the order. However, if he draws the Guardian insignia with his own blood, then he has sworn a loyalty to you that stands on the same peak as his loyalty to the Guardian's of Horus themselves. The second is that he isn't some cold hearted killer that feels nothing but the thrill from taking a life. No. Zuki is like a regular person down at his core. He feels all of the emotions that a person can feel, but whenever it comes to killing or hunting he doesn't feel grief or empathy. He just feels excited. Outside of that, he is just like you and me!
History:
- To give a generalized history about Zuki's past, I will skip over his early childhood because that is boring. Instead, I'll start his story on his 13th birthday: the day of his first kill. Zuki was never very liked in school. He was that nerdy teacher's pet that sat in the front of the class and answered all the questions. So, needless to say, he got bullied a lot. Well, on his 13th birthday his mom had given him $200 to spend after school at whatever stores he wanted to go to and visit. After school, on his way towards an outlet mall a few blocks away from his house, one of the kids that bullied him stopped him and beat him up. Afterwards, he took Zuki's wallet and began walking away, despite the beaten and broken boy's plea to stop. Zuki got angry and tried to crawl after him and get his wallet back. He was slow and didn't get very far. But, his angered state caused his blood to give in to his desires and it acted as an extension of himself. Whenever Hozukimaru reached his hand out towards the boy, yelling to give back his wallet, his blood shot out of all of his open wounds from his beating and impaled the bully in several different spots.. One being his head. Zuki loved the thrill of that moment. A few days after that incident, Zuki was approached by a few men in black suits and sunglasses who asked him if he wanted to feel that same thrill again, without any consequences. They were the Guardian's of Horus, a group of criminals who were completely off of the radar. They were given immunity from the law and even influenced decisions made by government officials, but in exchange they carried out missions set by various employers ranging from the president to a middle class man in the middle of the United States. Missions that were too vulgar or intense for even the military or the police. They all had their own unique skill sets and abilities, and taught Zuki the proper way to use his own abilities and gave him ideas on how to use them in different ways. They all traveled down the Path of the Demon, but only one made it out of that path in tact. The rest had either lost their minds or their lives. Zuki left the headquarters of the Guardian's of Horus and ended up joining a band of bounty hunters not long after that.

----Abilities and Techniques Information----
- Path of the Demon: Full Expression
- During their lifetime, every warrior must decide whether they will travel down the path of the warrior or the path of the demon. Hozukimaru chose the latter. However, he refrained from losing his mind on this path by avoiding human souls. Without the devouring of a pure soul, the madness that usually envelops the travellers of the path of the demon wasn't given access to his soul. Because of this, Hozukimaru was able to fully realize the Demon's Path with his senses in tact. This feat has rewarded him with an abnormally strong soul, rivaling that of a fully realized Warrior. He also has access to strength, speed, dexterity, and durabiltiy that is similar to a demon's. However, this ability is different from a Warrior's soul in that it has to be activated in order to gain these effects. This ability is activated by injuring ones self in order to release adrenaline into the body. Adrenaline in the body of someone who has fully walked the Demon's Path causes them to get angry and triggers the activation of this ability. It can be seen visibly by Soul Perception as their soul grows in size and becomes a darker shade than what it normally is, but the change in stats can't be measured until they are displayed.
Hemokinesis
- Hozukimaru is a hemokinetic, meaning that he can control his own blood. Using this ability, he is able to increase blood flow, shape his blood, clot his blood to harden it (and stop bleeding from injuries), and even increase the amount of blood that he has in his body. This ability can be used on blood outside of his body, but only blood that belonged to him.
Foggy Terrain
- Zuki is able to manipulate the moisture in the air to form a dense cloud of fog in a 100 meter radius around himself. This cloud of fog is a perfect technique for stealth, because it obscures the presence of everyone in the fog. That doens't just mean physical. No, this ability conceals the physical pressence of anyone trapped within (vision is limited to 3 feet in any given direction) as well as makes it impossible to see their souls. You can still hear their voices, but you can't feel that they are there. It would be as if all traces of the people in the fog disappeared. However, this fog doesn't block heat signatures. It is still possible to see the heat signatures of the people in the fog if an ability or technology allows you to see it. As with normal fog, this cloud isn't permanent. This ability dissolves after 25 posts (Zuki's posts). This can only be used once per battle.. After activating this ability, he is unable to deactivate it, meaning the fog will linger on its own.
Heat Sense
- An ability that has been described as similar to soul perception, Hozukimaru is able to activate this ability and see the heat signatures of beings instead of seeing their souls or their bodies.
Iron Smith
- Using his soul wavelength, Hozukimaru is able to manipulate iron and steel on a molecular level (as long as the metal doesn't belong to a form that is embedded with a soul). This allows him to change its shape just by touching it. He can't use this to make more metal, so he has to work with whatever is available and make what he can with it. There are two advanced forms of this ability that involve speeding up or slowing down the atoms that make up the metal.
- Hell Forge: By speeding up the rate that the atoms within the metal move, Zuki is able to increase the heat that the iron or steel he is controlling give off, he can push this ability far enough that the metal catches flames.
Sub-Zero: This is Hozukimaru's most used and favorite application of his Iron Smith ability. Sub-Zero is the advanced ability that allows him to slow down the molecular vibration within iron or steel to make it much colder. Using this ability, he is able to make the metal cold enough to freeze a small area around whatever it comes in contact with.
Tech G33K
- Hozukmaru is very proficient with the creation and usage of technology. It's gotten to the point where he says that technology "talks" to him and tells him where things should go and how it should be used. However, it is just that he has a deep understanding of how items interact within the hardware and in the process of building, he designs the tech to be used in certain ways. He often uses this to make unorthodox weapons and various gadgets that the hunters can choose to take with them on missions.
Swordplay and Hand to Hand Combat Expert
- Hozukimaru is a master at hand-to-hand combat and combat involving bladed weapons, with the weapon his is best with being a scythe.
Mark of Lumen
- Each member has this ability, its shown from the symbol placed on their body. Zuki's is placed on his left shoulder, opposite of his tattoo. This mark allows the Lumen to locate each other as well as talk to each other telepathically, of course for any of these effects to work they must be within a 100 feet of each other.

Zuki is known as "The Hidden" due to his experience in working unseen, both with his time as a Guardian of Horus and the way he uses his abilities. Because of his personality, he hates this nickname. It make him think that all of the other hunters are aware that he lies about his motives.
