Goal: Marcos goal is to create the best place in the world to just hang out and be true to himself. Even though he looks like a bad boy, keeping the peace and seeing everyone have a good time means everything to him.
Motivation: His past in show business and near fatal accident have provided Marco with a hard perspective on how to best live his life.

Hobbies: Marco enjoys riding his bike more than anything, except maybe Pokémon battles. He actually teaches at the local driving school in his spare time, and is always reminding the young riders of the importance of driving safe. A former action star, Marco also enjoys watching thriller flicks whenever a new one hits the screen. In addition to managing the Gym and Motorcycle Arena, he also owns and operates his own little drive in movie theatre!

Personality: While his appearance may be intimidating to more than a few, Marco is really quite the gentle giant, if not a bit boisterous at times. He is dedicated to making the people of the city feel safe, and he's always providing various acts of charity such as providing free driving lessons, motorcycle repairs and movie tickets for the youths of the city. He has a tendency to speak extremely loudly at all times, and he carries himself with pride and confidence.
Personal Skills: Marcos former life as an action star has provided him with a wide assortment of skills. He's an expert driver of both motorcycles and fast cars, and he's a top notch entertainer. Having done all of his own stunts on camera, Marco is also experienced in parkour, martial arts and swordplay.
Family: His parents and brother live all the way over in Castellia City of the Unova region, and his younger sister is currently traveling through the Sinnoh region as a Coordinator. His wife is a nurse at the local hospital.

Biography: Marco was born in Castellia City of the Unova region to a happy family of five, including himself. He was the oldest of his siblings, and he acted as their role model. His father worked the docks and transferred cargo to cities and towns across the region. Once he was old enough, Marco began helping his father on the docks and helped to transfer the cargo across the water.
On one occasion when he was unloading cargo over near Verbank City, Marco spotted a group of thugs trying to take over a nearby ship. Already a skilled trainer, he made quick work of the crooks and rounded them up with his Pokémon, only to find that they were actors from Pokéstar studios filming an action scene at sea. Mortified by what he'd done, Marco and his father apologized profusely to the actors and movie crew for their mistake. Far from being upset, however, the director took an interest in Marcos flashy skills and youthful muscles. He offered the teenager a job at Pokéstar studios as a stuntman, with the promise of finding him a proper agent that could groom him into a proper actor. Seeing the rare opportunity for what it was, Marco quickly got approval from his parents and accepted the offer.
For the later half of his teenage years, Marco would spend his days performing stunts on camera alongside his Pokémon while taking acting lessons in the evening. He eventually started performing background rolls in small time action flicks, and then when he was twenty he finally made his big screen debut as a supporting actor in a major film. He took the theatres by storm, and for the next eight years he produced hit after hit at the box office. He was beloved by the audiences for his incredible stunt work and loveable characters, and both he and his Pokémon won several awards for their performances.
One day, when he was twenty eight, an accident occurred on one of Marcos movie sets. His bike malfunctioned during one of his scenes, and the young actor nearly lost his life. His injuries were severe, and it took several operations and countless hours of physical therapy before Marco was back to being himself. Deciding that it was time to leave the movie business behind, Marco officially retired from his career as an actor and moved to the Kimchi Region with his new girlfriend, who was one of the nurses that helped him get back on his feet.
He had a ludicrous amount of money from smart investment of his movie star earnings, so Marco decided to cash in a childhood dream of his and opened up a drive in movie theatre in Stroud City. His girlfriend wasn't too happy with it, but he ended up doing some small performances at the nearby motorcycle arena as well. Finally, Marco was eventually approached by the mayor and asked if he would be interested in becoming the city's new gym leader. He took the mayor up on his offer and has been living his best life ever since. He's married to that nurse now and still loves to entertain people both on his bike and on the battlefield. He still gets asked for autographs by strangers who recognize him, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
