They've been airing all the qualifier races lately,anyone watching these?
Also, the games are full of controversy. Rio is having trouble paying for the games and since it sits in the Zika affected area there is that as well.
What do you all think of this?

I havn't had time to watch qualifiers, I'm in the USA so of course I'm rooting for team USA.
Didn't Russia get banned from the Olympics?
I'm worried about the Zika virus affecting the games, it's so virulent and I know team USA has some strong female contenders this year. If they get bitten it could be a nightmare, same for all the other teams.
As for Rio paying for the games, I hope they manage to do so if I could afford it I would be down there watching them live myself. After all it's Rio!

Tigrosharu I havn't had time to watch qualifiers, I'm in the USA so of course I'm rooting for team USA. Didn't Russia get banned from the Olympics? I'm worried about the Zika virus affecting the games, it's so virulent and I know team USA has some strong female contenders this year. If they get bitten it could be a nightmare, same for all the other teams. As for Rio paying for the games, I hope they manage to do so if I could afford it I would be down there watching them live myself. After all it's Rio! Yeah I need to adjust my first post lol. I wonder how the medals will be redistributed retroactively or if they will at all? Well in gymnastics falling happens, in fact they have an artful version called tumbling. I wish I had time to watch more of the qualifiers, so much happened that it slipped my mind half the time. Still that Zika issue is very worrying.

Last thing I would want would be the Rio Olympics to be known as the reason the world got Zika. I have to go to bed, night I'll chat more about the Olympics tomorrow. I saw that.... good thing I dont like hot palces. XD Ive never even been to florida. Im sure eventually it'll be everywhere. im not too worried since im not having any more children. there doesnt seem to be too much horrible things that happen to grown people because of it. well, at least not as bad. >< stupid mosquitos! hope you slept good<333 i took time and made the first post all pretty^^ hehe

I live in Brazil and that ZIKA virus isnt affecting that much anymore, and even when it was Rio wasnt btw the cities where it was more dangerous and affecting more. So i dont think will happen any case during the games, also, they stay on that area which is more "protected". Of course, we never know, bad things can randomly happen..but the risk is low smile
