As anybody who ever checks out BRTS knows, the primary ad issue these days seems to be malicious ads that freeze up or redirect the page before you can even see what they are, but when directed to the current procedure the majority of people seem to think that they can't report using that process because its focus is on the visual content of ads
Basically: Can you guys spell it out for users how to report bad ads regardless of what the issue with them is so that the "forum helper users" maybe don't have to feel, quite so often, like we're beating our heads against brick walls trying to assure others it's still the appropriate process..?

We probably won't move forward with something like this as these can be covered in other forums and, at the moment, we don't feel there's a need for very specific Lake Kindred subforums like this. But we'll be happy to investigate and consider adding it if we find that it's necessary.

Currently in Zen Gardens, the Brilliant and Luminous Kitsune/Tanuki both drop from every other enemy you can fight in the gardens. I'm wondering if it would be at all possible to fix or change that so that they only drop from themselves? It's a bit frustrating, trying to hunt for specific other kins in that area, only to have those two (the Tanuki especially, I've noticed) drop instead.

At the moment, every first of the month, Runway is plagued with several glitches, two in particular that can be a bit troublesome. The first being that on the first of every month, it won't show you that you've already entered, which often results in multiple entries to people who don't frequent the forum. The other is that your vote count doesn't show up, leading many users who are either new to the feature or who don't hang out around the Runway forum to think that they aren't getting any votes at all.
I understand if these glitches are difficult/may take time to fix, but in the meantime, would it be at all possible to get some kind of sticky put up in the Runway forum with a list of known issues? I know it won't cut down the number of confused people to zero, but I think it might perhaps help at least a little to clear up people's confusion, and if nothing else, would provide a handy place for the forum regulars to point others to when the questions come up.

yes, that says what to do if you purchased the lotl love RIG with cash or gold, but not what to do if you received it as part of the tier.
Go ahead and follow the same procedure and just mention you got it from the Tier.

The hot topics archive is a mess. There are no actual threads, but a ridiculous amount of subforums in the top menu. If you visit any of those subforums, you have to scroll 2/3 of the way down the page just to get to the actual threads. Could this possibly be cleaned up? I think it'd be a lot more functional to remove the subtopics menu and simply make threads on that forum with links to them instead, with the sub-subforums included. I mean, do we really need an easily accessible link to the Basement forum of the Frat Party 2012 mini event linked at the very top?

This isn't something we'll probably address. The Hot Topic Archive is meant for just that, an archive of old Hot Topics we have that we may or may not use again. We leave them open to view for users as it contained all their old threads, otherwise we just normally hide these forums.

Question: Will we ever get a button in our inventories that allow us to organize alphabetically?
That would be really convenient for those of us who like things organized, but have too large of inventories to do it manually. Takes literally days for me to organize mine, and it's a real pain to go and do it over again when I buy new items. A response would be much appreciated.

I think this is something we'd all like to see! Unfortunately adding automatic sort buttons isn't a small project and is not something we can do in the near future. It's a possibility for the future though!

Not at the moment, right now we're monitoring things based on the reports we get in from users about any potential abuse.
How valid are these reports, do they have any merit at all?
Well considering that we have issued bans for some of the reports we did receive (not all of them) based on what we consider to be bannable offenses, I'd say that they are very valid.

As in, if a Ruby Ticket and Platinum ticket are both worth 200k gaia cash, then a user can submit a platinum and use it as a Ruby?
I only ask if an option similar to this would be considered, because a lot of the higher tier tickets on gaia get hoarded and inflated well beyond the means they should be sold at.

Hey there! That's a nice idea, unfortunately not one that is feasible for us. Different folks work on different tickets so it's not really possible for us to swap them after the fact. We also run different discounts on different tickets so they are not one static GCash price.

Now then, the question proper: Being of a naturally curious mind, and having never seen anything exactly like this happen on Gaia in my life, I'm interested to know what exactly can be done to rectify a situation in which any already existing copies of an item will never be able to be opened again?! This is fascinating and amusing to me and I want to know how (or if) such a thing can be fixed.

We try to take care of all the existing copies by removing them and then switching them out.
For example, if you had copies that you got because you spent Gaia Cash, we'll remove them and give you the Gaia Cash.
If you have copies that you got from buying them from the Marketplace, we'll give you back the gold.
For ones you got from the tier, we'll replace them with the new CI we put in the tier.
And for any other edge cases we'll figure out a solution to them.
