あなたの目で私, Anata no Me de Watashi (The Me in Your Eyes), is a twelve episode TV drama revolving around three childhood friends: Hikari Yurumo (Serena Kirimizu), the optimistic day-dreamer, Kento Shinomiya (Akira Tennouji), gentle school Prince, and Kazuki Len (Ryo Yamasaki), the hardworking honor student. Anata no Me de Watashi explores the relationships between the childhood friends as they mature; a story of dreams, reality, love, and heartbreak.

I can only accept you as my equal...Ryo stood behind his manager as she guided him to the director for introductions. He waited while the director finished taking with some stage crew. As the man approached he kept a cool demeanour. "Hello sir, I'm Ryo Yamasaki. I'm excited to work with you." He shook the offered hand. People scurried about preparing for the first run of the first episode. An intern came over and handed the director a coffee. "Thank you, call me Steward. It's wonderful you agreed to join us, Mr. Yamasaki, and that Ms. Yuzuru contacted us about your interest in the drama." The man took a sip of coffee obviously pleased. "The other cast members will be arriving soon, but please excuse me there is much to oversee." He nodded at them and left entering a swarm of staff and crew asking questions.

"Good morning, director Steward. This is Ryo Yamasaki from Chinatsu Entertainment, who will be in charge of playing the role of Kazuki Len." She gestured Ryo forward so that he could introduce himself as well, before offering the director her business card, "I'm Saki Yuzuru, his manager." She listened to the director as he spoke, and then gave him a respectful bow when he left to tend to other duties. Saki turned to Ryo, fixing him with a steady gaze. "Your co-stars will be here soon. Behave yourself." she said, giving him a light pat on the back as she left to greet the other cast and managers. ------------ "Phew, we have finally arrived." Maki huffed, as she dragged a struggling Akira on to the set, "Akira-kun, stop trying to run away!!! We already agreed to this job, you can't abandon it now!" ----------  ⚛ 🎀 ░T░e░n░n░o░u░j░i░ ░A░k░i░r░a░ 🎀 ⚛ Akira Tennouji gave her a sad, puppy-eyes look.
"B-but Maki-san...I'm no good at acting. Last time I was in a drama, I tripped over my own feet and knocked myself out on the lamp post on set, and had to be taken to the hospital to get treated..."
He trailed off, grimacing as he remembered the dramas he had been in in the past.
"And remember that detective drama I was in? When Serial killer-san appeared, I got scared and accidentally fell into the pit with the dead body. Then the director decided to change the plot and had Serial killer-san bury me alive...it was so scary."
He hid his face in his hands, shaking off the bad memories.
Maki pouted, chopping him on the head.
"That's just you being clumsy, it has nothing to do with your acting." she said, as she continued dragging him toward the director, "Now come greet the cast and the director with me!"
"Wuu..." Akira cried, as he was dragged to the director.
Director Steward's eyes brightened when he saw Akira.
"Tennouji-kun, it has been a long time since you've been in one of my dramas, huh?" he said, chuckling in a friendly manner, "You always give me the best plot twists, so surprise me again this time, alright?"
He gave Akira a joking slap on the butt, as the latter jumped a little in surprise, blushing.
"Director Steward! That's sexual harassment!" Maki said, giving him a disproving look.
"My bad, Maki-chan." he said, giving her a flirtatious grin, "How about I take you out to dinner tonight to make it up?"
"Annnnnnd Director Steward is back to his playboy self."
"Damn that old pervert, no wonder Tennouji doesn't want to act in his dramas."
"I swear he secretly plotted to get Tennouji-san into this..."
The crew members whispered amongst each other, giving the Director suspicious looks. ʏᴏᴜʀ ʟᴀꜱᴛ ᴋɪꜱꜱ ʙᴇʟᴏɴɢꜱ ᴛᴏ ᴍᴇ... ------------- Serena Kirimizu stood with her manager on the sidelines, watching everything unfold as they have already greeted the director. Laughing quietly, she sneaked up to Akira, leaping on to his back. "Nice to see you again, Aki!" she said, giggling happily as Akira flinched in surprise. "K-kirimizu-san!" Akira said, a smile breaking out on his face, "Long time no see!" Serena ruffled Akira's hair in a friendly manner, a big grin on her face. "We got lots to catch up on! Let's go somewhere after today's filming...I'll treat you to the best desserts you will ever taste!" she said, as her manager approached them with a disappointed look. "Serena, please act more maturely in public." her manager whispered to her, pulling her off Akira's back. Serena pouted, and then waved at Akira. "It's a promise, ok?" She said, as she left to greet the other cast. Heading to Ryo, Serena bowed. "Hello. My name is Serena Kirimizu. I will be playing the role of Hikari Yurumo in this drama. Nice to meet you!" she said, giving him a bright smile.

I can only accept you as my equal...Now that he was alone, Ryo could relax. Sighing he crossed his arms watching his manager leave. He turned to watch the workers continued to establish the set. Light and mic checks were being run. There was also the manager talking to some extras about their cues and entrances. Overall it was busy and noisy much to his displeasure. He heard a feminine voice call out to him. Glancing around he spotted one of his co-stars that Saki had talked about beforehand. He turned giving a polite smile to the energetic girl. "Hello, Kirimizu-san, I'm Ryo Yamasaki. I'll be playing as Kazuki Len. This will be my first drama. Over Kirimizu's shoulder, he spotted his other co-worker. He nodded at Akira before focusing back on Kirimizu. "I've seen your acting before. It's an honor to work with you." He bowed in turn.

After greeting everyone, Saki gave Ryo a thumbs up, before retreating to the sidelines. ------------ Maki too, went to the side, joining her sister as the director issued his starting commands, signaling that the filming is about to begin. ---------- ⚛ 🎀 ░T░e░n░n░o░u░j░i░ ░A░k░i░r░a░ 🎀 ⚛ Akira saw Ryo nod at him.
"Ryo..." He started to say, his face brightening up as he tried to go over to him, but was stopped by Maki.
"You stay right here. We are about to begin!" She said, holding him back.
Akira's makeup artists approached them, taking him away to help him get ready, while Maki returned to her sister's side. ʏᴏᴜʀ ʟᴀꜱᴛ ᴋɪꜱꜱ ʙᴇʟᴏɴɢꜱ ᴛᴏ ᴍᴇ... ------------- Serena smiled back at Ryo. "Nice to meet you, Ryo-kun!" She said brightly, "Though...you are Kazuki-kun now, aren't you?" Her eyes were serious, reflecting her passion for acting. Serena then winked at Ryo. "It's good to hear that someone watches my dramas at least." She joked, before her makeup artists swarmed her as well, moving her away, "I loom forward to working with you! Let's get along!"

He nodded at Kirimizu seriously in agreement and watched her go, leaving to get ready himself. After having makeup placed on him. Ryo was no longer and now Kazuki Len stood in place. He stood at the edge of the set waiting for the director to give the signal to start. The signal was given and Kazuki Len found his seat among a mass of freshmen. There was an excitement in the air as hushed whispers and giggles echoed through the room. Kazuki watched the stage waiting for the headmaster to present their speech. When the man did, the room quieted, " I welcome you to the beginning of your high school career as new students, which was made possible by you own efforts, combined with you, family and friends. I respect and congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. You are the very important people who will work for the future of our country and the world..." The headmaster continued and soon the scene shifted to when the main characters of the story would meet.

⚛ 🎀 ░T░e░n░n░o░u░j░i░ ░A░k░i░r░a░ 🎀 ⚛ Akira, now Kento Shinomiya, stood outside of the door of the auditorium, surrounded by girls.
The entrance ceremony was over, and they were now on their way to their homerooms.
"Shinomiya-kun! I look forward to spending the next four years with you again~" An extra said, blushing as her group of friends giggled, looking at each other and sneaking peaks at Akira.
"Yes, please take care of us, Kento~" another girl pipped in, looking at Akira with a lovestruck expression.
Akira smiled at them gently.
"I look forward to spending the next four years with you too." he said, as the girl shrieked, before bowing and waving at him, dancing off to their classes. ʏᴏᴜʀ ʟᴀꜱᴛ ᴋɪꜱꜱ ʙᴇʟᴏɴɢꜱ ᴛᴏ ᴍᴇ... ------------- Serena, now Hikari Yurumo, entered the scene with her sketchbook, looking as if she was in a daze. She walked right into Akira, who turned around with a surprised expression. "Hikari-chan!" Akira said, his voice concerned, "Are you alright?" He bent down, helping her pick up her scattered utensils, before offering a hand for her to get up as well. "Yes..." Serena said, taking the hand and accepting her utensils back with an absent-minded look on her face, "Ah, Kento-kun...it's good to see you again." She smiled at him, just as Ryo entered the scene.

Ryo waited off stage for the cue to enter the next scene. He exited the auditorium and noticed his two childhood friends. He frowned a little from the exit before walking over to them with a more relaxed expression. "Hikari-san..." He smiled at the girl before turning a more serious expression to Kento. "and Kento-kun, I could hear the ruckus you were causing all the way in the auditorium." He adjusted his backpack strap before looking down the hall. "But it's nice to see both of you." A bell rang notifying the students to head to class. Kazuki looked down the hall, "What are your classes?"
