sad Why is it that when its dark and dull and cold and raining, everything seems ten times worse. Today it raines, typical Irish weather and typical Thursday weather every Thurs it rains down here..don't ask. Today we sat in the pouring rain playing a match, after bout ten mins in I land hard on my shoulder and cause I allready injured my shoulder last time we played a match and I was out for a couple of weeks my coach took me of and put on or back up goalie, then 15 mins later or best stricker is tackled and spranes her ankle again, so me and another injured player helps her off and down to the gym where we both sit for a while with or best cure..an ice pack. So if the day couldn't get any worse we get trashed 4-0. mad
biggrin So how was yere day.................???? biggrin

It rains often here as well. I personally though love the rain. It always makes me feel happier. The sun however has the opposite effect. I always associate the sun with summer, and I don't like summer really. I often find myself stuck at home doing nothing.
I do understand where you are coming from though. I teach swim lessons in an outdoor pool during the summer, and when it rains, it is freezing cold. Yes the pool is heated, but that doesn't help much. If it rained while I was in the pool, and I was having a bad day, I'd certainly feel the same as you.

God, the rain here was harsh yesterday. I don't know if you guys would have seen it, but Belfast was drowned. A few guys were heading up the road on a boat.

The lack of sun makes people depressed because you get Vitamin D from sunlight. umm soory about hurting yourself in the mud..but you can take a supplement, or like drink that orange juice to get Vitamin d. It might help.
I Long For Irish weather!!! the sun is searing here. Even When its still cloudy after it rains or even sprinkling I can feel it burn my skin, I feel Like I live on Mercury! (Arizona)
