Redwall City Gym
"Where knowledge is power."
The Redwall City gym is a large, dome shaped building located near the Saavedra Desert. It has various rooms inside for both training Pokémon and studying their attacks and abilities. The final room, located at the very end of the hall, is the gym's challenge stadium, where gym battles are fought between the Redwall Gym Leader, Arthur Mays, and the numerous trainers trying to earn a gym badge from him.
Being a master of rock type Pokémon, Arthur's battle arena reflects his battle style with large, craggy boulders dotting the stadium. The ceiling and battlefield are reinforced to withstand the strongest of attacks so that both sides can fight freely. The only light in the room comes from small torches lined up on either side of the wall, casting a dim light on the arena to give it a dark and intimidating presence.
There are also benches lined up on either side of the arena for onlookers observing the match, and twin scoreboards hang overhead for people to view the current status of both trainers. Should one succeed, they will be presented with the Ancient Badge to symbolize their victory over the Gym Leader. Challengers are always welcome, so please feel free to test your strength here at the Redwall City Gym.
