The first thing to catch Regal's attention as he entered King Town was the large library right near the entrance. It seemed like a great place to gather information on both the town and the region in general, so he decided to go in and find himself a free computer station to get to work. Magnolia seemed more interested in buzzing around and gathering honey, so he let her roam free on the promise that she didn't wander too far. The trainer began by pulling up a Town Map and had Jarvis copy the information to his Pokégear for later. Since he was interested in taking the regional gym challenge, he also found and downloaded some files regarding the various gym leaders and where they were around the region. As luck would have it, the city following King Town actually had a gym leader in it. He would need to put in some serious training before making a challenge, but at least now Regal had his first goal to work towards.
"That should be good for now. Hm?"
Logging out of the computer station, the trainer spotted the surprisingly cute librarian struggling with a large pile of books. The stack looked ready to topple, so he went over and offered his assistance. Thanking him, the librarian, who he learned was named Natalie, explained that they had just received a large number of rare books from overseas and that she was far behind in her work getting them organized and entered into the library's computer system. Seeing an easy solution, the trainer explained that he and Jarvis could have that done in no time at all if she would like some help.
"That would be amazing. We actually posted a request for help at the job center, but nobody responded to the ad! I'd really appreciate it!"
"Sure thing. I'm happy to help."
The rest of the library staff were a bit skeptical at the idea of letting a stranger access their system, but that skepticism quickly melted away into gratitude as they watched Regal work through the pile of books at lightning speed. Organizing the books was a walk in the park for him, and Jarvis was capable of entering the books into the system faster than anyone could keep up. They were finished in a little over an hour, and Regal was even paid for his trouble since they had originally planned a reward for anyone willing to help. He even found a beginner's cookbook in the For Sale section that the staff let him have for free. They all agreed that learning to cook simple meals for him and his team would be a great help to him on his trainer journey. Thanking them for their generosity, Regal went off in search of something to eat after his hard work.
