Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z were very close, I'm not sure which came first! Not long after would be Sailor Moon and Power Puff Girls (if that even counts), I've always liked a cartoon with strong female leads.

but my first binges were fruits basket and peach girl. -🍣- Oh my gosh, I LOVE Peach Girl! I've never met someone else who knew that show! I'd really like to read the manga, but the anime really stuck with me. It has a special place in my heart, even though it was very "general" but today's standards.

My first official one was Speed Racer too. Let's be old together. xD Then it was Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Digimon, and Pokemon I saw some of. We didn't have cable long growing up. So I grew up not watching many things unless we got tapes for them. We also for a while only had a black and white tv. When my younger brother and I finally saw DBZ in color, whoa. xD The anime that got me into anime was Tenshi Muyo on Toonami. Which I would watch at a friend's house with them when I could.

mmblarg haha I actually like anime more now, well the good ones anyways... I try going back and watching the classics and totally ruin my own childhood cause the story and art are soooooo baaaaaaad. Turns from a "When I was a kid, we watched REAL shows, none of this crap you kids are watching now" to a "Oh dear god, I used to watch this?!? I loved this! why did I love THIS!?!?!?!" What genre are you into? I'll see if I can think of any you might like. Also..... I don't even know what "emoji short hand" is XD ugh, I'm at the age now, that I just stopped trying to figure out what people are into hahha, i do that with stuff i used to watch like a year ago. it's like that string of emojis that supposed to be a sentence. I'll pretty much attempt to watch most anime, and finish it if i like it enough.

saturday morning cartoons on local stations where my original introduction to cartoons, i think. Honestly it's hard to remember, but Speed Racer and Sailor Moon were definitely the first in early 90s, and then digimon, pokemon and yugioh in the late 90s. And then Toonami which introduced me to an array of of different kinds of anime before i branched off and started finding them on my own at like the movie rental place and stuff. to this day tho Cowboy Bebop remains my favorite.

Ren Solo hahha, i do that with stuff i used to watch like a year ago. it's like that string of emojis that supposed to be a sentence. I'll pretty much attempt to watch most anime, and finish it if i like it enough. Well, the most recent anime I've enjoyed has been: Durarara (iono how to describe it... currently watching the second season) Your Lie in April (depressing slice of life ish, heavy focus on musical expression) Kids on the Slope (also slice of life with musical expression) Psycho Pass (Awesome futuristic drama following crimes and law enforcement) One Piece (dear god it will never end... working on episode... 300 ish?) Kill La Kill (quirky action comedy) Attack on Titan - but I guess Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is better and done by the same creators (I'll be watching Kabaneri soon) Skip Beat (slice of life comedy following the growth of an actress-to-be) That's all I can remember....

The series is long and the filler can get annoying, but the first two seasons are almost entirely plot development. I have a major soft spot for Inuyasha because that was the anime that got me into anime, if that makes sense. But looking back I suppose my first animes were Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z and Pokemon.

XD Youngins got do many more choices now days don't they? i loved sailor moon but the next one that really suck with me was inuyasha ninja heart Inuyasha gave me blue overies when I watched it as a kid, JUST DO KAGOME ALREADY! I'm sorry but SDJGKNDNSDHUINSDHUIPNHDH I KNOW RIGHT!?I'm rewatching it now, and I get so pissed when I see Kikyo because she just twatblocks my OTP. JUST..... STAHP
