Is it worth it? What should I know?

To be honest I find it incredibly unattractive in both women and men. Some people like it, so it's whatever you feel comfortable with. However DO NOT get it done just because your boy/girlfriend likes them. Unless they're willing to do the same for you. Do not ever mod your your body just for someone's sexually enjoyment. Them liking it should be secondary to you liking it. It's whatever you want to do. It's your body no one else gets to choose what you do with it.

If you can, try to get some kind of clamp and just try it out (if you haven't already). See if it bothers you wearing clothing on top of it, or if snags, how best to take care of it. If you feel comfortable with all of that, then I say go for it!
edit:: I've been told that once you get it pierced, your nipples become 'numb' and you will lose most, if not all, feeling in them. If you're into foreplay that revolves around the nipples, I'd think twice; it may look attractive, but you might loose some of the sensations of having them bare.

I had mine done in my younger years. One was fine and one eventually got infected. I have sense taken them out.
I have less feeling in my nipples now too, and scars from where they were. Both kinda suck, but sometimes I miss them.

Had mine done in the past. It wasn't too painful, just a lot of pressure. After care is the worst, and they take a long time to heal.
I don't recommend it if you have plans on becoming pregnant any time soon, or if you swim often (can't swim with a new tattoo or piercing).
I don't have scars from mine, and I didn't lose feeling in mine. If anything, they're more sensitive now. gonk

Thank you guys so much! I'm thinking I won't get them now. I thought they make your nipples more sensitive but it sounds like it's the opposite. sad

all tits have roughly the same amount of nerves in them so if tiny tit Tina is like omg so much feels that doesn't mean boobs Mackenzie is going to feel the same because they are spaced apart more. im busty asf and ive had mine since i was 18 and i have never had the "numb" feeling nor have i had scaring, infections, or any other junk because i take care of mine. yeah it hurts like a b***h and a half and its not something you can half a** (y'know unless you want your nipples to fall off then have at it do you boo boo) but if you want it do it then you just sort of do it.

Make sure you know what type of material it is. I had a family member have a bad reaction because of the material. And, if you're not allergic to anything, just look into what you need to do to keep yourself healthy and clean to avoid infection! It's not usually difficult but you have to take care of any piercing and a little bit of research now can save you some frustration down the road smile
