This is for reviews of movies in theaters.
Like "I saw -------- last night and feel --------- about it. Totally worth/not worth your money." That sort of thing.

        Inside Out

I had been anticipating watching this adorable movie since I saw the first trailer, and FINALLY got around to seeing it at my dad's a few weeks ago. Super cute, (literally) an emotional roller coaster, but for some reason people on YouTube are casually spoiling the biggest parts about it without giving warning, so it wasn't much of a surprise to me when I finally saw it. Some great adult jokes hidden in there as per usual, but the plots and such are very simple. Don't expect to be lingering on deeper meanings afterwards.

        Zootopia

Wow! Made my Top 5 list for movies, but then again, I'm a sucker for animated anything. The characters were well thought out, the producers spent years traveling and researching environments, diets, looks, etc. of every creature they put in the movie, all the way down to how the different sections of Zootopia (ex. arctic, Sahara, rain forest, etc.) could merge to become a realistic single city. They even have parts of the city scaled to fit the size of the animal (elephant all the way down to hamsters). So, you know, kudos to them!

Everything has a double meaning, which I love. There are pop culture references such as Breaking Bad, and they did a great job at giving settle hints without ruining the big reveal. Protagonist Judy Hopps is adorable as f*, seriously, she could be my spirit animal. The designers took into account Shakira (who sang the theme) and her wishes to have wide hips, and they obliged. Can't say enough great things about all the consideration on the producers/designers/directors' parts.

They worked hard on it and it shows. Beautiful, strong story, cried more than once. Go see it nao <3

I loved Zootopia! I thought the whole plot was based around "don't judge". Cuz she got to know the fox and even though he's a fox, she's not scared. That's what the movie said to me.
