Cantonese style Chinese food is what you'll find in this hole in the wall establishment, and make no mistake; this stuff is delicious. Owned by Stann Lee and named after his late grandfather, Kam Wah has proudly served the regions number one won ton soup for over four years running. The menu here includes any Chinese foodstuff you could possibly think of and then some. The staff and cooks are all trainers as well, specializing in rare dragon type Pokémon. They are always happy to either serve or battle you, depending on what your tastes are. Enjoy!

It had been a long day, but the family feast at Kam Wah made it all worth it. Icarus and Nova both enjoyed it immensely, but were full after only one plate. Which left the majority of the Chinese food for Regal to devour. This worked out perfectly, considering the trainer's inhuman appetite and the fact that he hadn't actually eaten much that day. Everything tasted fantastic, but the best was definitely the restaurant's award winning wonton soup. It was simply perfection. Dreamily content, Regal switched his focus back to work as he pulled up the files he had downloaded from the King Town library.
"My first gym challenge is against... Harvey Wellspring. A steel type specialist."
There weren't any steel type specialists back in Kanto, but Regal still knew them based on reputation. They hadn't been considered an official Pokémon type until a few decades ago, but quickly gained recognition as more specialists emerged in the form of Gym Leaders and Elite Four members around the world. There was even a former Champion from the Hoenn region who exclusively used steel types in battle. They would certainly make for a good first challenge.
Steel Pokémon were especially well known for their incredible defences, but they weren't without weaknesses. Fire was a well known counter against steel types, which meant that Nova would be a key player in the upcoming gym battle. If possible, catching some fighting or ground type Pokémon would go a long way as well. He would have to keep an eye out as he continued travelling towards the city. It looked to be around a three day trip on foot, so he would have plenty of time to check. For now though, it was time to prepare for his journey. Thanking the staff for the fantastic meal, Regal paid the bill and then met up with Magnolia, who had been buzzing around outside. With his stomach full, the trainer began making his way towards the Pokémart to pick up some supplies for his journey.

Laram twisted the knob on the door in front of him. He had read the sign before, and he knew that he was in the right place. Inside, there was the normal commotion anyone would expect from a restaurant. Except, it seemed controlled somehow. It was as if the chaos seemed planned. There were four workers in the restaurant, and the family resemblance was unmistakable. The trainer couldn't help but feel jealous of the two children. Sure, he had no idea what their lives were like, but his imagination dreamed up warm beds and loving parents. Whether or not that was true, the trainer could only speculate. But living on the streets could make even the most pious bitter, given enough time."Umm, hello? I'm here to pick up an order for the Radio Tower."Laram walked up to the front counter and inquired."Hmm? Oh of course, of course!"The elderly gentleman waved his hand and disappeared behind a curtain. While he was gone, the trainer smiled awkwardly at the waitress who waved at him. It wasn't long before the restaurant owner came back with three large boxes full of food. It all smelled amazing to the half-starved teenager, and his stomach growled at all the food. Laram always made sure that his Pokemon ate properly, and while he was around the guild hall, he was able to eat. But he always forgot to pack enough food for himself on the road.
Apparently this was loud enough for the owner to hear, and he chuckled. In a fluid motion, showing his expertise in his work, the owner grabbed a small paper carton and filled it with some noodles from the bar in front of him."This is for you trainer. I can't have you passing out as you try to deliver my food. It's bad for business. Can you carry all this food by yourself?" Now it was the trainer's turn to chuckle."By myself, no. But I have some friends that can help me out."Laram grabbed four pokeballs from his pack and released his Charmander, Froakie, Pansage, and Elekid into the restaurant. The elderly man nodded and handed the first box of food to the trainer, who in turn, handed the box to his Elekid and Pansage. Then, the second box was handed to his Froakie and Charmander. The trainer grabbed the third box himself and thanked everyone before exiting the restaurant. With their bounty in tow, Laram and his team made their way back to the radio tower.
