Aaaaah!!! I love that book! Still waiting for the second one to FINALLY come out...

It shows how good it is that my brother (who rarely reads for enjoyment) read it quicker than he reads some manga haha

Omigosh... There's a second coming! I might die waiting.
This author is so good. I picked up the first few books of his Thursday series too.

My rp partner was talking about it.
I love reading what people suggest. It's like getting to know thier subconscious or something.
But I'm glad I found it.

You?

I'm the same way! I also love being able to have someone to talk about the book with afterwards! The sequel, by the way, is supposed to come out in 2018 according to the official website and it's going to be a prequel... It's gonna be a long wait until then!

I read it while I was abroad. It was the only English book in the house so it was purely chance haha I'm so glad though cause I'm also really into the Nursery Crimes series now!

That's much too long of a wait. I'm not gunna make it. Hehe

That was lucky!
I'm going to get some of that series next.
I just can't read them fast enough it seems. 3nodding

I don't know if I'll be able to last that long either haha I'll definitely have to re-read the book around that time to remember everything! But I'm a fan of re-reading books so it works out for me!

I love all of Fforde's series for different reasons. The first Nursery Crimes book is my favorite of his books I've read but the Thursday Next series as a whole is great and there isn't a single one I've read so far that I haven't enjoyed!

Other authors that have similar styles who have series among my favorites are Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Eoin Colfer and Neil Gaiman. How about you?

I never retread a book. At least not normally.
I don't buy many either. I abuse my library instead 3nodding hehe

I'll have to look up those authors. I tend to forget names pretty easily XD
I read a lot of differen genres though. I just got off my thriller kick last week. I had finished so, of Gillian Flynns books XD
I tried reading broken monsters, but it creeped me out too much to finish lol

What other genres do you like to read? Or is just mainly books like that?
I, addicted to romance novels too redface

Gasp! I love getting titles from the libray but I also re-read my favorites every couple years haha it's why I have waaayyy too many books in my house (cough) And when I'm waiting forever for a book to get checked back in so I can borrow it sometimes I just crack and order it online xD

I only know the name Gillian Flynn because of Gone Girl lol Are all her books that disturbing? I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to like psychological thrillers or horrors. I'll read some but then I get so jumpy!

And genres...? Uh I'll read almost anything as long as I like the author's style and the characters! The way you mentioned your "thriller kick" sounds similar to how I am, too. Get really into one genre for a while until I need a break! Like after re-reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I got really into satirical sci-fi!

When you say addicted to romance do you mean sweet and fluffy and make your heart smile or the more "spicy" books? xD

I've been trying to collect more books. But I having gotten very far yet. Lol
I also read the endings before the beginning >.>
It's so wrong hehe

I didn't like gone girl... But yes, all her books are pretty messed up.
Sharp objects is my favorite, but the ending was too obviouse I think. Hers are more gross than psychological I think.

I love all the romance levels 3nodding
I've only found one that was too much for me. I was too embarrassed to finish it rofl
My favorites are the ones that are in the middle, mostly sweet with a few crazy scenes. And I like a good strong story line aside from the couple. Makes it much better.

I used to do that!! The reading the ending first! It's why to this day spoilers don't usually stop me from enjoying something haha I like to know what I'm committing to.

I'll have to look into Sharp Objects but if it's gross I might wuss out and not finish it haha

I'm a glutton for sad romance books, it's awful. Lots of crying and fluff. What sorta story though is a middle ground one? I'll admit I haven't read many romance books that aren't depressing or YA fiction! I need to expand my horizons there xD

I'm so happy it's not just me 3nodding
I just have to make sure the ending is acceptable before I invest all that reading time lol.
That and I HATE 'to be continued' endings. They drive me nuts.

That one isn't as gross... It's more disturbing than anything.
Although I'd say don't read the ending first on that one.
I mean the ending obvious I think about half way through, but the reason for the teeth being stolen makes for a great surprise and the end 3nodding

I like romance novels a lot. My favorite is paranormal ones with like demons and weres and stuff. I like the tears ones just as much as the X rated ones that make you blush lol.
3nodding
My fav romance author is cherry adair.

I understand the sentiment entirely xD Give me a standalone series of stories and I'll wait forever. That "to be continued" ish drivesd me insane.

The first thing I thought of when you said weres was this werebear romance line. Like that?

I knew I had heard the name Cherry Adair but couldn't place it until I looked up her books lol A close friend of mine has the majority of her works, actually! I've never borrowed any though. Maybe I will now xD
