The ground under her feet changed from soft moss to cold dirt to rough bark as Thalia made her way through the wood behind her house. Her mother always warned her (and later scolded her) about going out here at night but nothing big and bad had happened to her as of yet. So she just brushed it off as her mother being paranoid, as she usually was about everything. 'Thalia don't play rugby you're going to snap in half, Thalia don't be out to late you never know what weirdos are out at night, Thalia don't climb up the stairs you'll trip'! The last one was a big of an exaggeration but the point still stood. Besides, some nights she needed to be out here to clear her head. Either because she couldn't sleep or her day was stressful. Tonight was one of the former nights. Thalia usually had no problems when it came to sleep. It was one of her favorite pastimes really, so when the moment came about when she couldn't shut her brain off, well she found ways to tire it out. Locking her hands behind her Thalia cast her electric blue eyes upward, watching as the moonlight filtered in and out of the gaps between the trees. She was so entranced by the way the leaves changed from dark to green she didn't see a shadow cross her path but the sound of twigs breaking quickly caught her attention. Snapping her eyes to the direction she heard the snapping twigs Thalia stared for a moment, brows furrowed, as she tried to spot what it was. Shrugging it off she continued on her walk, only making it a few more steps before the sound of twigs snapping again caught her off guard.

Normally the sound of twigs breaking or bushes rattling wouldn't bug her. Nine out of ten times it'd be something harmless like a rabbit or a squirrel but something felt off. Everything was to quiet, even for it being night time. Usually the sounds of owls hooting could be herd, or crickets signing but tonight there was nothing. ""Chyler how many times have I told you to piss off?"" she said, eyes narrowed as she listened for any sort of rebuttal. Her sister had never been very subtle and usually gave up in her attempt to sneak up or snoop on Thalia when she was found out. Hearing nothing after a few moments worry started to settle in the pit of her stomach. She swore if this was a situation where her mother was right she was going to strangle the universe and it's annoying way to seemingly always turn Thalia's life up on it's a**. "Alright listen up, you try whatever it is that you're perverted mind is thinking and I'll rip you four new assholes." she hissed out, unlocking her fingers from behind her back and balling them into fists by her side. it was quiet once more and Thalia was going to brush this off as her being paranoid when something came darting out from one of the bushes and knocked her flat on her back. The impact of the hit forced the breath from her lungs, leaving the white haired girl slightly dazed but she could see a figure moving closer to her until they were hovering. "That was oddly disappointing."

Fear seemed to grab a hold of her, holding her down as she stared up into the lifeless black eyes of her attacker. Something felt off. Thalia had never felt this level of fear in any type of situation before. She had gotten herself into fights yes, but it did not feel like this. Like her will to fight was being sucked out of her the more she tared at this pale man. "So far my body is like it used to be." he said, arrogance in his tone as if he didn't expect anything less. He took a step forward and out of reflex she crawled back, her body seeming to snap out of his hold once he spoke. An amused looked crossed her attackers eyes at her defiance but didn't stop moving. Thalia knew she had to do something. If she didn't this guy was going to do something sinister to her, she could feel that. She just....she felt so helpless right now and Thalia hated that. Relying on her last bit of desperation and anger towards herself she kicked her foot out, kicking him in the side of the knee cap with all of her strength. The impact caused a flare of pain to erupt in her foot but she wasted no time in dwelling on it when he faltered and she twisted her body, kicking him in the back of the knee with her heel he doubled over and she jolted up. Not looking back she started running, her instincts telling her to get as far away from here as possible but she didn't make it that far. Something latched onto her back and she pitched forward and was pinned under her attack, her vision and mind dazed from the impact. s**t. was her only thought because she could feel this was the end. Having no other choice she let out a desperate cry for help but her attacker only laughed. "Scream, it will be music to my ears."
