Weapon description: Albus Panthera was created to be a stealth weapon. When inactive, Albus Panthera can be easily concealed under her sleeves in the form of two metal bracers. In it's activated form, Albus Panthera appears as dust-powered, full arm-length power gloves, used for close combat. There's a dust chamber hidden in the upper side of the forearm. Some handy features of the weapon include retractable ice dust enhanced claws, used for anything from slicing and dicing Grimm to scaling walls, an energy whip that, aside from its normal use, Vanora can use to restrain enemies or, on rare occasions, sever limbs (though it takes a lot of strength to do so), and an activatable, lightning dust powered stun feature that, while non-lethal, can pack quite a punch to whomever comes into contact with it.

Looks: Vanora is a fairly attractive woman, and she knows it, as she sometimes uses her body as a weapon to distract her enemies when she needs to. Just because she looks pretty, however, doesn't mean she isn't ready to brawl. She has a lean, athletic build from training throughout her life. Her hair is quite long, reaching her mid-back, but she keeps it in a loose bun so that it's not in her way. Her usual attire consists of a black suit jacket and skirt, navy blouse, a white cravat, white gloves, black leggings, and black ankle boots.
Personality: As far as looks go, Vanora is lovely. However, looks can be deceiving as, Nora is a prideful, stubborn, but intelligent woman with a low tolerance for nonsense. She can come off as cold and abrasive because of her reserved, analytical nature, but deep down, she's very kindhearted and will worry herself sick about the people she's close to. As a matter of fact, the less of your nonsense she puts up with, the more she cares for you. Of course, this is after you manage to warm your way into her broken heart.

Background Information
Born to Lysander and Vaermina Snaebjörn, Vanora is the youngest of their two children. However, Nora and her brother, Klein, would rarely see their parents growing up because they were always busy with hunting, thus leaving the children in the care of their grandfather. It was him who taught the children how to defend themselves against others and he helped them realize their potential as future hunters.
However, tragedy befell the family when her father returned home from one mission in particular, and he was not with his wife. Vanora desperately wanted to know what happened, but all her father never gave them a proper explanation as to her mother's disappearance. Shortly after this, her father turned to alcoholism and sent his kids to live with their grandfather full time. Even though they didn't get to live normal childhoods with their parents, they were happy.
Of course, since Klein was seven years older than his sister, he left to become a hunter like their parents and grandfather, leaving Vanora alone. With no brother and very few friends to distract her, Nora spent most of her time learning about the the world they lived in and training with her grandfather until he had nothing left to teach her. However, this didn't stop her from finding other ways to further her knowledge and skills.
Later, Vanora enrolled in Atlas Academy for a while, and that's where she made the love of her life and permanent companion, her Albus Panthera. Through hardworking and dedication, Nora learned to better control her weapon and, while she struggled with being told what to do, she eventually managed to graduate from Atlas to Beacon, where she would form a bond with her new friends as part of a team. Not only that, but Nora would find a home among the vast halls and high ceilings of the academy until it came time to part ways.
The next few years would be filled with countless adventures and endeavors, including Vanora nearly getting married, though she would never stop advancing her knowledge of Remnant, as she carried her passion of history with her through out her life. She would soon tire of such a wild life and apply to Atlas as a teacher. However, when Vanora heard of assistance being needed at Beacon, so she would approach the Headmistress Cobolt and request a transfer. She's been there teaching since.
