I'm in the process of recording songs I've written. I have the drafts up on my soundcloud. They don't sound the best right now; I'm going to get better equipment to make them sound better. I'm not sure if the songs will work but I wanna try to see what I can do with them if I put in more effort. =] heart My Soundcloud

SariaLon I don't have any art to share at the moment, but I just want to share that today is my last day of undergrad. I didn't know I would feel this emotional, looking back at all the good and bad times in college, I FINALLY did it and honestly my mind is blown. OMG I'M GRADUATING!!! biggrin biggrin

I have always been proud of my instrumental (flute) and musical ability.
Even though I'm at a standstill with music because my cherished flute was stolen,
it's something I will always be proud of.
One of my ultimate goals in life is to reconnect with this part of myself. I also want to learn the violin, piano, and cello. They're beautiful instruments.
I also wouldn't mind improving on my oboe and clarinet abilities.
Music is something extremely dear to my heart and soul.
It's hard to describe how it makes me feel and how I feel about it, but I know that my love for it is profound.
I also am something of an occassional writer. I used to write stories as a child,
mostly to escape from what I was going through, and as I got older, I transitioned to poetry,
I have had two of my poems published in compilation books, as a prize for making it to the semi-finalist round of two poetry contests. Even though I get no direct notoriety or money from it, I am proud of those poems.
I may lack confidence in myself in many aspect of my life, but one thing I am really sure of myself in is my cooking/baking ability. I absolutely love and enjoy being in the kitchen.
I love flavor and making delicious food for others. When I see their faces at first bite, and that smile or hear praise, it makes me feel good somewhere in my heart. It's the one thing I really don't have to think too much about, I just do it and create.
Also, I am currently in my last course towards earning my Associates in Science in Criminal Justice. I will be officially graduating later this year, but I am really proud that I have made it through this portion of my academic journey with high marks in all my courses. I am really looking forward to working towards my Bachelor's which I am immediately jumping into this Summer, No real vacation time for me until right before the Fall term. Still, I am excited to keep moving forward.
