The admins have been discussing revising the way Shadow Pokemon work and are handled here in the guild. We are unable to come to an agreement on a specific way so we turn to you, the members. Below you'll find different proposed system, be sure to read them closely. Above you'll find a poll with options for the systems below, the current way we handle Shadow Pokemon, and an option for "None. Own suggestion." which if you vote that one please post here your suggestion. Also choose this one if you do not 100% agree with the other options, even if it's just one part. If no system gets atleast 60% of the vote then we'll redo the vote with the lowest scoring option getting booted. If a suggestion grabs the attention of the adminship then they'll add the suggestion to the next vote. So here we go (note all Shadow Pokemon have increased strength and are very erratic, no matter what):

Proposal A:

Shadow Pokemon have active and inactive states of infection. An active Pokemon has a shadowy aura that is visible to the naked eye. While active a Shadow Pokemon can infect other Pokemon upon contact with its Shadow moves. An inactive Pokemon has no aura visible to the naked eye (but one visible with special equipment) and cannot infect other Pokemon. Every time a move is used (regular or Shadow) there is a chance the Shadow Pokemon can go from an inactive state to an active one (every post when using a Shadow Pokemon there is a 10% chance it will become active when using a regular move, 20% chance when using a Shadow move).

First stage Shadow Pokemon are limited to four total moves, two reserved for Shadow moves and the other two for regular moves.

Second stage Shadow Pokemon are limited to five total moves, three reserved for Shadow moves.

Third stage Shadow Pokemon limited to six total moves, four reserved for Shadow moves.

Hyper Mode works as is except that now when a Pokemon enters Hyper Mode recalling it will snap it out of Hyper Mode but there is a 50% chance you will be unsuccessful in recalling it. Furthermore if an inactive state Shadow Pokemon stays in Hyper Mode for three posts (three attempts to recall) then the Pokemon becomes active and able to infect others.

Proposal B:

Shadow Pokemon no longer always spread their infection with their moves, instead all moves have a small chance to infect (10% starting out) and the odds of infection increase as the Hyper Gauge (Shadow Meter) does. For every 1 point of Hyper Gauge there is an additional 10% chance of infecting the target. A Pokemon in Hyper Mode will always infect with its moves.

Recalling a Pokemon snaps the Pokemon out of Hyper Mode but there is a 30% it will defy being recalled.

Proposal C:

A hybrid of proposal A and B. Inactive state Pokemon have a 5% chance of infecting other Pokemon with Shadow moves and an additional 5% if added for each point of Hyper Gauge (Shadow Meter). Active state Pokemon have a 10% chance of infecting other Pokemon with regular moves (5%) and Shadow moves (10%), increases for every point of Hyper Gauge (Shadow Meter), +5% and +10% for regular and Shadow moves respectively. Same move limitations as above.

Bumped requirement to pass up to at least 60% to pass. First round of voting ends tomorrow at 3 pm central time or later, but not before.

Voting closed. Keep old system received exactly 60% of the vote so nothing changes. Thank you for your time.
