- She’s been working with Andy for years, so she’s pretty good at exchange, and has a vast knowledge of valuable items.Otherwise, Vex relies on a thin exoskeleton to help her move because of being quadriplegic. It does, however, give her a slight physical advantage over others. As long as she has it on, she can move very easily. Without it, she struggles to move.

- Vex takes her job pretty seriously, and she spends a lot of time at the shop. A workaholic, she does actually enjoy her career, and bartering actually relieves stress. She shares in Andy’s delight for sarcasm, and claims she gets it from him. She’s known to carry an apathetic expression most of the time for her dry humor.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Vex is an employee at Andy’s Odds & Ends, and she’s often in charge of the shop when her boss is away. She’s one of Andy’s most trusted friends, and often advises him on his decisions. Just about anything Andy’s isn’t doing, she is. Their story goes way back. Her father was a mechanic that regularly visited Andy’s shop for cheap Acronium, but one encounter would change Vex’ life forever. When she was three, Vex had unintentionally entered the storage room for Andy’s explosives and set off a timed bomb. Andy had saved her, but shrapnel was lodged into her back, and she’d suffered a spinal cord injury that caused quadriplegia, her arms and legs paralyzed. Andy paid for her operation, and she had physical therapy to help her slowly regain mobility. When she was eighteen, she came to work for Andy as a way of paying him back and has been there ever since.
