A good Wednesday and a good May to one and all. As you're probably aware by now this summer we will be seeing the return of the Rejected Olympics. What the games will be this year we don't really know as we have yet to get any clear hints towards the event but that doesn't mean we can't start planning for it. Now as much as I'm sure you guys would want the guild to pick one town over the other (one branch over another) we're not going to have an official guild position. Everyone in the guild is welcome to choose the town of their liking to back and play for during the Rejected Olympics. Because of this we're not going to have any official guild thread during the event.
Here's the reason why, and why I wanted to have this discussion with all of you, I will be working with another guild that was built specifically from the last Rejected Olympics. So yes, I'll be busy helping to run things on the Barton side. And because I'll be busy helping the Barton Fort get ready for the Rejected Olympics I'm going to forgo taking part in this year's NPCon. This summer event is a big deal for the Barton guild so my attention will be needed there. Now everyone is free to pick whatever town they want for these upcoming games. I'm not going to ask anybody to join me over in the Barton branch if that's not the town of their choice. Having four unique groups coming together for the greater good of Gaia is what makes us a unique group. On that note, I still want to gather funds and more recent items for our guild mule to use during the event. And I want you all to be okay with the fact that these items will be used towards possible contests and games in the Barton camp.
I'll be putting together another fundraising thread in the coming days so we can get to updating the coffers with more up to date items, more gold, and some Barton colored items. You don't have to donate if you don't want to but it would mean a lot if you were able to. I hope you guys will be okay with this.

I see nothing wrong with that. It wouldn't be fair to the GCA to pick one town over another since we're all united 3nodding So it's totally understandable.

Yeah I just want people to be okay with us being low key for this event and not upset if use guild stuff for things related to another guild. I know peeps will say your guild your decision but I still like having us all on the same page. At any rate I'll probably resurrect some of my four towns branch stuff for people to use during the event if they want to.

I know peeps will say your guild your decision but I still like having us all on the same page. At any rate I'll probably resurrect some of my four towns branch stuff for people to use during the event if they want to. Very understandable, and definitely nice to have a heads up in case some were wondering where the GCA would be for this.
