- Omega's body was made to be the ultimate weapons. He was augmented to the point where he is more machine than man. Some of his upgrades include: X-ray vision, and optic targeting system, a vocal imitation implant, highly increase speed and leaping capabilities through augmentations, highly increased endurance through augmentation, highly increased strength through augmentations, EMP resistance (though not invulnerability), and a adaptive learning implant (he learns how to do things by watching it occur.)
As he was an Escala, Omega's brain functions are heightened making him smarter and more adaptive that most people. He is a skilled engineer which has helped him with quick repairs on his body. His genius level intellect has also helped him learn to fight but he has never really had to worry about his form. When Omega gets hit it tends to hurt the other guy more than it hurts him.
➳ How do they act?
- To Omega the world is black and white. The operations that turned him into what he is has deprived him of the ability to feel any emotion and as a result he does not. He feels no anger or hate, not even annoyance yet he recognizes when certain emotions ought to be triggered. Her recognizes when he should feel something and tries to accommodate but he is not capable of genuine feeling. He takes everything literally and at face value.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Omega was born on Cerus to a family name that he has long since forgotten. His first memories are that of a lab and a table with restraints on it. Everything before that was wiped by the men experimenting on him. At a young age he left his parent to volunteer for augmentation. He knew that his people were often considered weak and he didn't want to be typecast. Omega's greatest fear was that he would just be another escala scientist and so he turned to Genesis. At first they seemed kind and none of their tests were overly invasive but time spoils all. Those he thought would help him turned on Omega and he was taken far out into the empty space of the galaxy where they experimented on him. He was given the name Subject X. He was put to sleep and remained asleep for five years. During those years he was killed and brought back to life in a new body, a stronger body, but a body that was not his own. His lungs, heart, and brain had all been transplanted into the machine that he is now. It took them five years to complete their work and the first time Omega saw himself in the mirror he nearly destroyed their work. His metal hands tore at his metal face for so long he nearly killed himself. His mind simply could not cope with what they had done to him and so they wiped his memories of what he was. As a precaution they covered the endoskeleton that was him with living tissue so he would look at least human again. They were unable to replicate his original appearance and as a result he was given the look of an normal human, an average complexion and brown hair. It was easier for Subject X to cope with a face that looked more man than machine.
About three more years passed without incident. The scientists would come to him once in a while with new upgrades and he would allow them to be put in. Then he would be shut down and force to wait for them to come for him again. However a living brain is a tricky thing. While he was shut down, Omega began experiencing dreams. Those dreams were the remnants of his memories. All memories of a life he wanted back. One day the scientist came to his room, and they didn't walk out. He killed the scientists in his room and stole a ship that he took back to Cerus. It was during that trip that he exchanged the name Subject X for Omega. It was a symbolic thing for him, the end of his mistreatment. When he reached his home, he didn't recognize anything. Within a month he left that world to explore others. Having had his memories wiped, Omega did not recall his connection to Genesis and so he left the organization alone. Instead he began to hunt the Syndicate. He had seen the cruelty and injustice they caused and grew to hate it. These days he is still out there hunting the syndicates members.
