Noo...we don't know who killed her mother sweatdrop THATS one of the things she wants to know sweatdrop It's that her mother wa sshot and Ayane, being a ninja, would most likely use other methods to kill her so it means someone else kiled her. That scene was Helena getting paranoid and blaming Ayane whee Exactly! I believe Ayane killed her mother I mean Helena has to battle Ayane right before fighting Tengu which is like a mini boss to a person they are connected to for their story. And Helena's not the only new character so why isn't Ayane bullying the others? Ayane is a new character herself somewhat in DOA2 too. There's a reason why they talk to other characters they mostly have for each mini movie between characters in story mode. Until further proof that the game provides I believe Ayane killed Helena's mother. Well, things aren't adding yp correctly. But I still belive it was just Helena being paranoid when she was talking to Ayane, but I'll have to play the game once more sweatdrop Ayane sounded a bit indifferent to Helena's claims. Her words were something like, "Well if you say so". I think you can take that in two different ways: 1. She did it and doesn't care. 2. She didn't do it and is looking to start trouble or something.

Ayane is probably just the wild card in the whole situation... that's my thoughts. If she really did kill her mother, it would have been made clear already. Wouldn't it be an odd turn of events if Helena's brother did it or something?

It's a disappointment how she is DOA4's new main character but she still hasn't appeared in any images or trailers. Plus she is one of my favorite characters so I wanna see her new costumes since I love clothes. biggrin

Helena's fighting style is the best
i once killed 53 people in survival mode in about 15 min i think.don't remember score
i think she has ine of the best fighting styles because you never expect her moves most of the time.

I'm kinda disappionted. I watched a trailer and seen screenshots but she doesn't look any diffrent or more special as a main character. sad And now she's not even a default character! Yay for Helena! biggrin I really like her (although I didn't a long time ago...). She's definately one of my best characters next to Kasumi...although I don't really have any other "bests"...yet.
Anyway, as for the whole "Ayane kills Helena's Mom" thing, I personally think that Christie was the one who killed her...first of all, since when do ninja, let alone Ayane, use guns?? And also, Christie was going to kill Helena in DOA3 too because she failed to do so the first time (Helena's mom pushed her out of the way in the cutscene).
Also...I think Ayane's replies to Helena was just her personality showing as usual 3nodding Evil lil Ayane blaugh
