General Description
The Stratos Syndicate, commonly known as just “The Syndicate” is the most powerful criminal organization in the Parallel. They were around since the earliest days of the Colony, and grew as Stratos did. Time and ruthlessness made them powerful, and their sphere of influence widened far beyond the Colony, so much so that the fear of the Syndicate is a very real threat in the Parallel, because those who get on their bad side tend to disappear, permanently. A quick glance at the shadier parts of the Parallel, it’s easy to tell there’s very little illegal activity that the Syndicate isn’t involved with.
Political Influence:
They’re very involved in politics, and a handful of the Directorate’s Council owe their allegiance to the Syndicate. Those who display and interest in exposing the corrupt politicians are politely “removed” from office. Their members embedded themselves into the world of politics, and they became so organized and so influential that the Directorate endeavored to negotiate a steady peace with them in order to avoid unnecessary violence.
Relationship with Bounty Hunters:
They are well-received by Bounty Hunters and Assassins, seeing as they pay very generously to have their enemies vanish.
Competitors:
Their most notable rival is the Red Hand, a criminal organization from Westenra.
